Wish Steakhouse

Wish has been my favorite restaurant for years. I can always count on getting the highest quality food and it's worth every cent. Shout out to Chef's Wish Foodtruck!! I recommend the cheesesteak sandwich and any soup he may be offering.

Delicious food. We started with the crab stuffed mushrooms. YUM! The ribeye was perfect and the grilled asparagus went with it so well.

It's hard to even know where to start. The whole evening was amazing. We were early for our reservation and to our surprise they seated us immediately. Every course came out quickly and perfectly timed. We never waited which was awesome. The pork belly is divine. The best pork belly I think I've ever had. The pickles with it were okay,but I would have been just happy with the plain pork belly. It was so good. Every course was more perfect than the last. My only complaint of the whole evening in fact was that my steak was extremely salty. I couldn't finish an otherwise absolutely perfect steak,but the rest of the food was perfectly seasoned. Maybe the chef dropped the salt shaker or something because they sure knocked everything else out of the park. They must have a very talented pastry chef because the deserts were just amazing. The key lime pie is sweet and tangy and the chocolate cake is absolute perfection. It was better than my grandma made(sorry grandma)and that's a difficult achievement. Service was excellent and our waitress knew just when to pop in. The restaurant was nice and clean and the ambiance was great. Overall it was a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back for more date nights in the future! 10 out of 10.

Our waitress Cindy was excellent! She told us the specials and answered all questions we had. She was very friendly and loved her positive attitude. The food was divine and we will definitely go again. It was well worth the money!

Best calamari we have ever had! The steak and salmon were cooked to perfection!

Most amazing food ever! Little pricey but so worth it. I will definitely go back! My waiter/bartender was the best. You know he enjoys his job. He just bragged constantly about the owner the other staff etc.... He made the experience even better.

Service was outstanding. Food was excellent, and everything tasted quite good, although some dishes are a bit small, and others are not quite the "traditional" version. Definitely will be returning. Above average whiskey selection for the area as well! Priced fair for the quality.

I wore a T-shirt and shorts and the staff still treated us as royalty. The food is phenomenal and the steak was cooked to perfection. It’s the place for a Wisconsin old fashion and a great meal.

First time there and was very impressed. Food was on point, and service could not have been better. Price was a tad high, but we definitely got a great meal.

This place is a hidden gem of a restaurant. The food is fantastic. The service is amazing, especially Kyle. He is one of the best servers I've ever had, bar none.

First time at Wish and it won’t be our last. Friday night offerings didn’t disappoint. Haddock fish fry batter was not greasy. Lemon baked fish was 60% lemony flavoring. A little much for the person that ordered it. The panko crusted walleye was very good. Sides were all excellent- Brussel sprouts done to perfection, asparagus was prepared just right as were the twice baked potatoes, according to the people that had them at our table.

We didn’t have the cheese curds but each order that passed by us looked so tasty and smelled tempting. And, if you order dessert (we didn’t), they are huge! Again, we saw them being carried out.

Only negative was that our waitress was new and when we asked about menu items she wasn’t really sure. She also didn’t offer suggestions, we had to ask for things like kinds of salad dressing or sides options, etc.

You will want to plan for a bit of time, which makes sense for a nice dinner out, but the food took a bit to arrive.

Overall, it was a very good experience, atmosphere and the food was tasty. We will be back!

A true steakhouse (not a supperclub). Always a relaxed and upscale dinner environment. One of my favorite is the (butcher's cut - available occasionally) flat iron steak. Cheese curds are a nice appetizer option, but tonight we had the spinach-artichoke dip, served with chips and crustinis. My only critique is the crustini was VERY hard...like we had to crack off bites and chew carefully. Maybe they drum-up business for the local dentists? Yikes. Not sure if it was just over fried tonight, or what...but I would caution fellow diners to be careful with the crustini. I had their chopped steak burger, very good. My husband had their special tonight...a wagu steak. We both agreed that so far their flat-iron steak is our favorite (when they have it). Everything was reliably tasty. =)

We asked who had the best steak around and many ppl sandwiches d Wish we s the place to go.. Great friendly service and high quality meal. Ahi tuna appetizer was amazing so was the Kale apple salad. My husband said his Rib eye was great and so was my tenderloin. Then the desserts.. Oh my!😍.... Highly recommended

Great food, high end prices. Very nice staff. Great steaks. Try the loaded hash browns. We enjoy Kyle a server there very much. Today is 2-22-24 our server was Juliana, she was outstanding. Food was excellent as always. See ya next time.

Enjoyed fabulous steak dinners last night at WISH! Our bartender, Heather, was friendly and attentive. Drinks were delicious! Sydney was our server. She was a delight! Very professional and personable! Look forward to our next visit. WISH never disappoints!

We were so pleased to have dined at this fin establishment. Our server was delightful which usually is an indication of the food quality. The salads were remarkable with an explosion of flavor and we all just continuously shared. The apps were scrumptious and the cheese chiefs had such an authentic texture and flavor.
The dry aged porterhouse was off the charts. Medium rare to perfection each piece just melted in our mouths. We will definitely dine here again and order the same food to have a repeat experience of exquisite fine dining.

Sadly the last day for our server who was great. I had the Walleye special with the twice baked potato. It was fantastic. The White Peach Sorbet tasted more of honey than peach. My colleagues had various beef dishes which were all cooked to order and were tasty. Highly recommend Wish Steakhouse for a nice dinner

Fantastic food! Wait staff is very well spoken and knowledgeable of the menu and ingredients. Excellent salmon, ribs and 5 Mac...melts in your mouth! Desserts...Crem Brulee and Butterscotch Budino pudding....so yummy!!

Soo SOOOOO Delicious. This Lil hidden gem is worth every red dime. I had a marbled ribeye that was cooked absolutely perfect. The drinks were tasty and the service was 5 star. Definitely don't miss this place if you're in town.
