This place has an amazing breakfast. Always impressed. Its always worth checking in on what their specials are. The downside is its hard to recover once those specials are gone! Hoping they would bring back deluxe sundays and shakes and now their monkey bread french toast!

Convenient location in Green Lake. Still serving breakfast fast close to Noon, so we were happy about that. The French Toast was deep fried but don’t let that scare you, it wasn’t heavy or greasy, and the crispness was really good. Scrambled eggs and sausage were really good too. There’s a good variety on the menu, will definitely have to stop by again to try lunch & dinner items.

First time going there this morning with the wife and kids. Gotta say I'm impressed with not only the homemade food that they obviously put a lot effort into, but the service as well. My first time having deep fried French toast and it was amazing. We will definitely be going back soon 😊

Little Corporal has changed hands it's more of a grab and go or eat in.
The food is delicious: soup chicken vegetable filled with veggies and meat, slider chicken is tender, and fruit is fresh.
Wait staff patient and friendly.
Atmosphere with 50's-60's music not to loud. Perfect.

Best breakfast joint in town! Great selection of breakfast/brunch options - the skillet was amazing. Ordered a stuffed pancake on the side and I definitely don't regret it. They also make a solid mimosa if you're feeling spicy

Clean, friendly, good food but be sure to check the prices on the specials before ordering. It was good but pricy, ~$22. Regular menu items were priced fairly.

Perfect little breakfast spot. Went on a Sunday morning and it was busy but there was no wait and plenty of space inside and out to feel distanced and enjoy our meal.

Waitress was great, food came out really quickly, and was delicious! The deep fried French toast was like eating a funnel cake for breakfast and boy was I happy about that!

My husband wend the opposite direction with the vegetarian egg white avocado scramble and said his was great, too. Lots to choose from on the menu and hope to be back someday!

Had the opportunity to travel to Green Lake yesterday and made sure that our first stop was the Little Corporal for breakfast. Our group of four all ordered skillets that were delicious. The stuffed pancake with bananas and strawberries was also very good. This restaurant is very clean and the staff is friendly and accommodating. We couldn't believe how fast our food came out after we ordered. We will definitely be back when we are in the area🍳🥞

Update: New owner came through in a pinch for me today with a delicious quiche. Brought it to the coffee shop where I was hosting a small gathering and I dropped the ball on pre-ordering a quiche from them! It was great. Thanks, Britt - you saved the day!

Reliably good. A family style restaurant open year round - breakfast is our favorite. Pumpkin pancakes are top notch. They also serve ice cream on a walk-in basis. Food comes out super fast, so if you're in a hurry, this is the place to go.

We were spending the weekend in the Green Lake area, and visited the town on the day of their fall festival - so there were a lot of people to contend with. We decided to have breakfast here, and despite the crowds, we had a great experience and meal. We had the Cheddar Bacon Tater Tot skillet and a classic breakfast. A good-sized portion for both of us; the signature tots are excellent, and they clearly understand how to cook eggs. Service was attentive and pleasant despite the capacity crowd. We would go back again.

This is the place for breakfast. Seated promptly, food comes out fresh, fast, and very good. Service is excellent. Bacon Cheddar Tater Tots skillet is the best, sausage gravy is delicious, nothing to not like about this place.

My favorite place to eat breakfast when visiting Green Lake! Food is quick, delicious, and super affordable. My boyfriend and I eat here every morning our entire stay (2-3 day trips). Would highly recommend eating breakfast here and getting their vegetable skillet with poached eggs and cheese sauce. Best I’ve had anywhere!!

Had delicious food, but even better service! They were willing to accommodate me and make me gluten free French toast! First time I’ve had it in a long time since I became gluten intolerant. Thank you!!

Small town big portions homemade meal breakfast is good

Excellent breakfast! Great prices! Wonderful wait staff! We arrived with 10 people and they promptly put tables together and food came in no time at all.
