23 Steps Inn

Stayed with my wife for a relaxing romantic evening in the quaint town of Mineral Point. Very nice, unique rooms in a historic building built in 1857. The history was very cool. Location within walking distance of some great restaurants and art galleries. This is where you should stay if you're looking for a relaxing weekend with your honey.

My husband and I came to Mineral Point for the first time last week. 23 Steps Inn was wonderful and the staff was extremely welcoming and kind. I highly recommend this Inn as well as visiting the town of Mineral Point. Of all the places I've been in the US, I consider this to be the kindest town of all. We were greeted by everyone - and although it's population is a mere 2400 or so, we were not made to feel at all like strangers. Incredible kindness!! When in town, stay at 23 Steps Inn and eat at the Deli downstairs!! Just fantastic.

Nice people, beautiful rooms and right on the main street in town. Super relaxing stay and the owners are very accommodating.

My room was amazing. Can't wait to get back for a romantic weekend with the wife.

Very nice room, great character, but rough around the edges. The bed had a stained blanket and gum on the bedside table.

Well located and well appointed rooms in Mineral Point.

we were booked for an evening near the end of June. We were expecting a cool little bed and breakfast located in a quaint downtown setting. We were not prepared or notified by the property that the entire downtown area, including access to the front door of the property, was completely torn up and closed to all traffic, including car or foot. It was a huge mess!
We contacted Expedia, who contacted the property. Apparently there is a break in a fence behind the property you can drag your luggage through and access the property. There is also a big for sale sign on the front door of the property. Construction is not the properties fault in anyway. But they should warn prospective customers that the experience they are expecting will not be available to them. We drove hours straight home (after a long day driving already) instead of trying to find a way into the property. Very disappointed.
