GREAT bread sandwiches! Chips too. Awesome chocolate chip cookies and cinnamon rolls! I had the turkey with double turkey….excellent!! So fresh. Awesome dining outdoors with live music!! Highly recommend!!

What a great place!! My brother got a plain turkey and cheddar sandwich and he loved it! The bread was especially notable as it was fresh and very fluffy. I on the other hand got a raspberry scone. When I asked the worker what she recommended she was extremely helpful and personable. My scone was amazing!! One of the best I’ve had as there were a ton of raspberries included and the flavor was great. Would recommend :)

The cherry cranberry bread, cherry scone, and chicken pot pie were amazing! I also loved the sugar or butter cookie (can't remember what it was called, because I was having an out of body experience while eating it!). It was that delicious! Wish I would have bought more items to bring home.

YA'LL. I have been coming here for over 10 years, even after moving to the East Coast four years ago. It is a must-stop for our family, either getting a couple loaves of freshly-baked bread or ordering an INCREDIBLE chicken pot pie to bake at home, it's always an absolute treat that we never want to miss. I think the prices are spot on, especially for Door and the staff couldn't be kinder. Get here early for the best variety as it goes fast; you won't be disappointed! If you're lucky enough to be here in the Fall, grab a lunch special of tomato soup with a sourdough grilled cheese. It's my FAVORITE!

We ordered two sandwiches and they were amazing. The staff and owner, Jenny, were so friendly! I normally do not like chicken salad, but it was recommended to put it on the cranberry bread. OH MY GOODNESS! I ate the entire sandwich and bought additional bread. Such a tasty shop and a gem! Highly recommend that it is a stop when you go to Door County.

Decided to stop here on the way up to Ephraim. This Egg Harbor establishment serves delicious deli sandwiches, cafe beverages and a variety of other baked goods. It has a small outdoor porch with a few tables for seating and an indoor seating area as well. You walk up to the cash register and place your order, if you ordered food they will promptly bring it to the table you have sat yourself at. There is plenty of street parking as well as a small parking lot off of the main road in somewhat of a strip mall type location. I ordered a Turkey sandwich it came with chips and treated myself to a chocolate chip cookie which was soft delicious! I would definitely go back for a sandwich and a snack!

The bread is wonderful and the ladies are awesome. We decided to take a quick trip to get bread and called ahead our request (seeing as we were going to be driving 2 hours), so we could ensure bread was available. The ladies had our bread and loved on us with cookies for the kids who braved the drive. THANK YOU FOR EVERTHING. IT WAS WORTH THE DRIVE. Here is until the next crazy drive!!!!!!

Stopped in over 4th of July. Purchased our favorite breads which we had pre-ordered. Happy hippie and French are our faves!! Had egg salad sandwiches on French and a Turkey on French, to-go. Sandwiches are heaped with fillings with moist , hearty bread…..and a bag of chips is included. Also had a cup of chicken pot pie soup which was so flavorful and fresh. We missed seeing the owner that day but her young summer staff was friendly and efficient.

We always take a couple loaves home to slice and freeze. Pop those slices into the toaster for a delicious breakfast. Mmmmmm. We love this place❤

My Wife and I where visiting Door Country and stopped at a number of bakeries. We both agree that Macready was the best.

Amazing lunch stop! Maybe the best French bread I have ever had. The mushroom bisque was also top notch. Staff was wonderful and extremely friendly!

Super great people! If you’re BIPOC, LGBTQ+, etc. this is a SAFE place! I enjoyed it a lot and so did my friends!

Quite possibly one of the best Italian sandwiches I have ever had on the freshest bakery bread - crusty on the outside soft on the inside. Our sandwiches were HUGE, but mine was so good that I ate my way through the better part of it. They were also serving a mushroom soup that was piping hot and absolutely delicious. I loved this hidden gem.

Cute spot, kind people. Helpful and happy to chat. Had a pastry, and then hung out across the street to look at the water.

Great Cranberry Chicken Salad sandwich! You can get half or a whole sandwich. Comes with chips too. It was the perfect amount to split & not be too full while we shop.
The bread was fresh, soft, & tasted wonderful. Everyone was extremely polite & helpful. Overall a great place to grab a bite. We'll be back.

.. do keep in mind that there is very little parking for this place. But there is plenty of parking all around it.

Popped in very late in the day on a Friday, having read about the place on line. Took home a loaf of semolina bread..DELICIOUS. Woman who recommended it suggested it was like Crack. She wasn't wrong.

Sure enough, next morning we were back, she greeted us with a good laugh and we walked out with scones, a cherry bread, chocolate chip cookie and small cherry crisp. All exceptional.

If I lived in door county this place would be my undoing. Besides the great baked goods, the folks who work here/run the place are the nicest..

Absolutely incredible bread and service. Just got a turkey sandwich and it was fantastic. Service was so friendly and you can tell they really care about their patrons. Again bread is OUTSTANDING. If you are visiting this is definitely a place to stop you won’t be disappointed.

Found this place based on the many positive reviews, this was an awesome find! Had the Italian sandwich, served on wonderfully soft and tasty bread. Generous portion, my husband and I split, served with a bag of chips. The chocolate chip cookie, big and crispy was a perfect dessert. Bought a scone bursting with cranberries for breakfast, best scone I've had in a long time. We'll be back!

Tasty huge chicken salad sandwich. They have a great home made bread selection and cookies. The employees are always friendly and welcoming. The line might be long but it moves fast! I try to get there at least once if not twice a month. Great place to stop and get a quick lunch when shopping.
