Vacationing in the Dells. Had another family with us and we decided to give this place a try. We were pleasantly surprised with our entire dining experience here. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered, which is often impossible. The cheese curds with the jalapeño cream cheese dip were a huge hit. The salad was way better than expected. I ordered the brisket burger, which had brisket on top of the burger patty, I know right! Superb! Some of or fellow diners ordered other burgers and loved them too. Our server was super attentive and helpful. If you are in the Dells around meal time, don't hesitate to check out Monk's!

Went there for lunch. 4 adults, 3 toddlers and a baby. They had crayons with kids coloring menus which kept them entertained! Had a big TV above our big table that fit us all no problem! Our waitress was nothing less than amazing. So helpful and the food was so quick! I was just in the mood for "a good burger" and this place definitely has that! It was a delicious juicy burger that hit the spot! Such a fun atmosphere and highly recommend stopping in!

First time visiting this place. We would certainly visit again when we're in the area. A short wait of only about 15 minutes on a Saturday night was a good start. The cocktails were delicious. I had the Loaded Bloody Mary and he had the Old Fashioned "Sweet". The food was amazing! Everything tasted so good. We have leftovers for later and even though we are full we look forward to reheating them after our concert tonight. Thank goodness our room has a microwave.😋 The service was good and our waitress was very friendly. We did feel a little rushed at first as no sooner than we sat down and she wanted to take our drink and food order. We needed a few minutes and she graciously came back. The It's All Gouda Burger minus the mushrooms was yummy and the hubby got the Boom Boom Crunch Brat Sandwich and it was fantastic. We upgraded on sides to try the Cheese Curds and the Cauliflower Bites and both were so good. A couple of very satisfied customers.

The server was great. I just felt bad for her having to use that handheld that looked like a pain in the butt. Seems like it makes it take longer to take an order & put it in rather than quicker & convenient. Why not let them write down the order first? Food was great, place was really nice with clean bathrooms & cute atmosphere. Truffle fries were delicious but didn’t taste truffley, maybe they just don’t use a lot of truffle oil?

Dined here tonight. Nacho was our friendly server. Our food was as great as our service. I liked the fun decor and appreciated that they had sports decor for the neighboring states teams. Thanks Monks

Recently ate here and the food was great. It was busy and even then our food came out within 10-15 min. The cheese curds and onion rings were awesome. We had a wrap and some burgers. All were great. Would go back for sure

Aweso.e fresh, fast service. Our waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable. Not busy, so that was nice. Very clean facility and bathroom. Would definitely visit again, lots of good food on the menu. The specialty beverages are delicious!

The cheese curds were amazing. I didn’t try a burger this time, but I’d definitely come back to try one because everything else was so good. Most importantly, we had EXCELLENT service from Felipe. He was busy with multiple tables but took his time with each offering recommendations and answering questions and still managed an impressive speed of service with a positive and friendly attitude. That’s not easy to find these days! He went above and beyond. Thank you, Felipe!

The food and service is top notch. The brisket burger is beyond perfect. Flavor was balanced well. The bacon was cooked exactly how I wanted it. The homemade chips and mac and cheese are also delicious. The server feilpe was hands down on top of his game. He is a true OG when it comes to being a server. I highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone.

Was in the area from out of town and had the best meal so far on my trip here. Buffalo chicken wrap was done perfect and had good flavor. Homemade chips are awesome…service was awesome.

The kids meals are served on frisbees with Monk’s name on it which the kids get to keep as a souvenir. Pretty awesome idea.

I’d go back for sure if I’m in this area again.

This is a cute and family friendly place. We were at this location 10 years ago on our honeymoon. The food was great and the server was sweet. They definitely have done some changes and upgrades over the years and still have cute monkey stuff hanging around. We will definitely be back. Hopefully sooner than 10 years.

Mike the supervisor and Kaylee the server and all the other servers were over the top. We had some gluten-free requirements and they handled them perfectly. Our food was delivered quickly and it was delicious.

Fun bar and grill atmosphere. Plenty of TV's playing sports, which was baseball, lacrosse, and cornhole (this held my attention whenever I was waiting). A corner with small selection of arcade games. Indoor, outdoor, and bar seating. Service is very friendly, but can get busy and push wait times. The food is really good, and I definitely recommend the Alamo Burger and getting some of their amazing cheese curds either as a side or appetizer. Free parking and wifi. Note the ranch costs extra and wasn't with the change.

Stopped by for the first time tonight. We are staying at Wilderness, and they provide a shuttle service to and from Monks. We took that as an opportunity to try it out! The food was amazing and came out within probably 10 minutes or less after ordering. The service was great too, our server, Elvis, really took care of us! We really enjoyed our experience here, and will be coming back, definitely!

We had burgers. I had the mushroom and Swiss. The "chippers" weren't very good to me but the burger made up for that. They have several beers to choose from, kids menu, and tvs all over the place.

Went to dinner here on vacation last week. Food, service, and atmosphere was great!

We enjoyed the food so much we ordered takeout via door dash the following evening, but door dash messed the order up and refused to resolve. I called the restaurant and the manager personally delivered the correct order. The manager, Shelby went above and beyond. Great service!

Great food! We had the Cubano sandwich with onion strings and the spicy ranch which so was so good. Also had the black and blue burger which just had too much blue cheese for our liking. The service was great and a cool sports bar atmosphere that was clean. We would definitely recommend!

Wow what a fantastic place to eat! Monks really goes above and beyond for customer service and they are e insanely fast! The servers are so nice and attentive and the food is awesome! My family and I had a fantastic time! Burgers were great and the Monkey Fries appetizer was delicious! If you want high quality food and a great atmosphere, this is your place!

This place is popular for a very good reason. What they say about their burgers and sandwiches is true. We got the Cubano, which had a very nice blend of ham and pulled pork spread with just the right touch of their amazing secret mustard. We also had the Brisket Burger. The addition of the brisket on the burger with Wisconsin cheese was delicious. All the meats were tender. I know it may sound crazy, but take a bite of the fried pickle before biting into the burger just once. It is a whole other taste experience. As a side, we had the Monkey Fries, which are beer battered topped with cheese and bacon. I chose Wisconsin cheese. That with ranch dressing made it perfect. I also agree with the server's choice on the cheese curds, lightly battered Wisconsin cheese bites. As for the service, our server was very helpful in helping us choose items for the best first time experience. Very enthusiastic and attentive. The whole atmosphere was enjoyable. The price was just right for the generous portions. I was very sated! Well done!
