City Segway Tours

This place was absolutely amazing, the instructor we had his name was Sam. Sam was great very attentive spoke clearly waited for us and was very knowledgeable of the memorials around the National Mall.

I've been on many Segway tours around the country and this one though it was not the best, mainly because I live in DC and seen The Monuments many times. It was definitely very rememberable. It kind of sucks because of the location of the Segway store it's a great location but like DC parking is tough so that's always an issue.

The store was clean the lady up front was very friendly she actually gave me a pair of sun shades because I forgot mine at the house. Much appreciated.

For someone who has never been on a Subway or never experience DC on a Segway, I will definitely recommend this place because it beats walking.

Fantastic Segway tour with Joe! We were a party of 4 in a group of 10. Joe was patient, funny and knowledgeable. Great tour for the price!

Over the 150 trips I have taken, other than snowmobiling this is my favorite thing to do ! I will always always always try to find a Segway company in any town that I go to. This is the best way to tour a city. And it was absolutely fabulous we now we'll to tour our capital city this way. Thank you thank you thank you !

Safety first and we had a great segway tour around the beautiful monuments of DC.

The tour was a blast. We did the 6PM sunset tour and I have to say this was the highlight of our trip to DC. Anna was our guide and she was super knowledgeable and funny! Yes, she definitely made the tour a 5 star! We will go with City Segway Tours next time in DC or any city we visit that they are located.

Did the segwey tour a few years ago and now the bike tour. Highly recommend bike tour with Tom. Bike tour allows you to go to more places and get off in more places because segweys have more restrictions. Also, highly recommend doing the tour at night.

This is a MUST if you are in the DC area. The segways are super fun and a great way to explore the sights! Our tour guide Joe made this trip extra memorable, he was super knowledgeable, down to earth and fun! Learned a lot of neat things about the city and got to see all the main sights! Joe also gave some great recommendations of things to do after the tour which led to other great experiences, can't express enough how awesome this was!

It was our first time riding on segways. Our guide was very good in teaching us how to safely ride them. She also was very fun to communicate with. Overall the tour was very informative and interesting. In three hours we were able to see a lot of historical buildings and monuments

We had our tour on the Wednesday afternoon before Thanksgiving, so, we were very fortunate to have just our group being led through D.C.! Our tour leader, Tom, could not have been any nicer, knowledgeable and funny! We had the perfect weather, crisp but sunny and got great pictures at all of the monuments and other areas. Tom made us feel safe by giving us some time to practice on the Segway and took the pace very easy for one of us were new to Segways. The cost is very reasonable and we got little tidbits of little known knowledge throughout the city. If you can request Tom, I would highly recommend it!

Had an amazing time with Brady, he was very knowledgeable and good chat. Made my trip to DC feel more special. We did a 3 hour Segway tour going around the tidal lake, 100% recommend!

This was an absolutely fantastic experience! Could not recommend it enough. Not only was it a great way to see a large portion of the sites, far faster than walking it all, our guide was wonderful and his commentary gave interesting context and added backstory to the sites we saw. We did the night tour and it was perfect -- cooler temperatures in the evening, sunset and later, the nightime uplighting on the memorials, was amazing! We had plenty of time at each memorial to explore and take pictures. Overall we had blast on the Segways (it was our first time riding them, but it was so easy and so fun!) We will definitely be looking to do Segway tours in other cities we visit!

We took 2 - 3 hour tours on the same day...that I would not recommend unless you are in good health! Lol
Both tours were fantastic!
Grace was our first guide and she had a ton of knowledge and a great personality.
Jake was our guide for the second tour and he was full of knowledge as well and had a fun personality.
By the end of the day we literally were in 'information overload" and loving it.
I would recommend this to anyone. The Segway's run well and the guides are amazing. Just a great experience. Thank you!

Before heading out on our tour we were required to watch a safety video and actual training with the Segway. EXCELLENT!
We had a small group of 7 people and our guide. Each person had a headset and could communicate with the leader and listen to a professional tour guide explain the details of the Battle Fields of Gettysburg.

We did the night tour (6pm)and it was absolutely amazing! Loved our tour guide Tom, he was full of information about all the area and was extremely delightful. If you are looking for a new way to experience the DC sites this is the way to go!

Three of us took this tour (and were the only ones in our tour!) and it was one of the highlights of the trip. The National Mall is really big, so this allowed us to see a lot of it without having to walk the length of it. Our tour guide, Tom, was wonderful. He had a lot to say about the different stops we went on and we learned a lot! It was all of our first time riding segways and he was really thorough with us and made sure we were ready to go before we began the tour. I can't recommend this enough.

Best decision made. Covered alot of ground in our 3 hour tour! Tour guide was nice and she was sympathetic to our inexperience on segways. Eliza was also very apologetic even in my mom's misadventures on the Segway even though it wasn't at all Eliza's fault. Great first stop in DC, you cover so much ground it's a good introduction to a newcomer in the area.

Shira (not sure how you spell her name) our guide, was AMAZING!!!!!!! She was funny, witty, smart, and made you everybody feel safe and included. She knew everything about anything and was the epitome of perfection when it comes to touring DC and knowing key facts, fun ones too! Highly recommend. It's such a fun way to go around the city and hit the key spots. The $75 for the 3 hour tour was worth it, my dad and I had a blast!!! Ask for Shira too!!!!!!!! 😊 thank you to all employees at City Segway for making our experience a memorable one! Will share with family and friends.

This is great for a family or team building event. It's also a great way to see the DC monuments in an afternoon. The Segway is much faster and more fun than driving, taking a tour bus, or by car. We had an outstanding time.

Outstanding, we had Stephanie as our guide and she made the experience more pleasant with her knowledge and personality. I would definitely recommend it. Segways are mostly band in main cities like NYC, London etc. So if your in DC hop on and enjoy. Ohh and don't worry they will teach you how to handle one, and you'll learn quickly.
