Can’t recommend going out with captain matt enough Myself and a few friends did 2 full 8 hour trips with Matt and had An amazing experience Everyone caught Personal Best smallmouth and we got on lots of healthy largemouth too Will definitely be back out there with him in the future

Wow…Matt works so hard to put you on fish and becomes a friend fast. We had a group that fishes quite regularly all over and enjoyed the company, scenery and vast knowledge that Matt has. I know a good captain and Matt is definitely one. Plus like my brother is a fireman and always appreciate what firemen do for us! Will definitely be back!!!

I’ve had the opportunity to fish with Captain Matt a few times in the last year. All of the trips were great and I enjoyed my time on the water with him. Down to earth fun guy with a passion for catching fish. We hit 15 different spots on lake Champlain October 19 2019 and caught some fish including a 10 pound northern Pike. Had a great time with Matt and now consider him a friend. We'll be fishing together for years. The views out on the lake and different areas covered were worth the trip alone.

Matt is more than a great captain and a skilled angler, he is a very friendly guy and just plain fun to fish with. I had a great trip with him on the Hudson River for striped bass and would fish with him again in a heartbeat.

Great charter out with my family. Everything was provided very organized and helpful nothing to worry about just have fun and catch fish! Pleasant knowledgeable Captain really knew the waters and equipment, he is a retired fire fighter. I highly recommend 3rd Alarm Charters for family fun.
