Peter and the team at One80 Salon are amazing. When I lived in DC they made me feel like part of a beautiful community. Peter is so magical and talented as a stylist and color professional, I will now fly thousands of miles back to have him give me the perfect color. He will work magic, suggest exact products (not over selling) and is transparent yet kind as well as wildly informative and truly talented. He and his team have a very positive and good vibe. Peter even helped me coach stylists in Florida remotely to help me when I couldn't fly back as well as talked me off the ledge from trying to glaze my own hair during COVID. Seriously if you need a perfect colorist, go see Peter.

I came here in February to fix a hair colouring that had gone wrong with another salon. It was such a great service by the two stylists who fixed and coloured my hair for me. They were really caring and took their time to make sure the colour was what I wanted. I really appreciated their professionalism and the attention they gave to me.

Love this place!! Has the best colorists in the DC area!! Jeremy is my colorist and man does he do wonders to my hair!! His staff is awesome they are the most friendliest group of people I have come across and they are great at what they do! I've been going to them for a while now and he has always treated me right. My hair has never looked better and he always explains what he is doing while he is doing it.

I've been going to Markell for well over a year now; he was recommended to me by my colorist. He knows precisely how to cut my curly hair so that it looks beautiful both blown out and when I want to just air dry and rock the curls. Plus, he has recommended several treatments that leave my hair shining and healthy, which I sincerely appreciate given that my curly hair has a propsensity for dryness. 10/10 recommend.

First salon in DMV where I actually really liked the cut and color on my curly hair! I thought pricing for everything was super reasonable and everyone is very nice and accommodating.

Love One80. Have been going here for years now for my color and cut. Peter is amazing with color and I love how he thinks about the full year ahead and planning the color with the next phases and season in mind. Jordan is also great with the cut, he works with the color to highlight the different dimensions, and is thoughtful about making sure my hair still has good volume despite having finer hair. The rest of the staff is also very kind. One of the few places I don’t mind spending hours at. Very warm and welcoming, and clean and chic.

Wonderful customer service! I flew in for a meeting, and they were able to accommodate me that day. Lari, the receptionist, provided exceptional customer service from start to finish. Jordan, my stylist, gave me the best haircut and blow-dry I have had in years. He listened to my needs and executed everything beautifully. Lari and Jordan could have a book on properly managing customer service. I am considering finding more reasons to visit DC so I may frequent this salon.

If you are the type of person that is consistently late to appointments, disrespectful to service staff, and complain about paying for missed appointments, do not come to this salon. Time has financial value, and this salon is too good for you and your selfish ways.

Jordan Broussard is a miracle worker! He's cut my hair for years now, and I cannot recommend him enough. He has over a decade of experience and always gives me the best cuts. He can be tough to get scheduled with but its definitely worth the wait. He'll also be honest with you if he think your hair/cut needs to go in a different direction, which I really appreciate. 10/10

I just moved to DC a few months ago and desperately needed help with my hair. I researched tons of places and after showing my out of state sister hair stylist their website and reviews, she said this place looked like a good one. I booked a consultation and Lesley and Jordan helped me with a strategy to embrace my natural 2c curls. And wow! My hair has never looked better! Lesley crafted my natural looking highlights and low lights to add so much dimension to my curls! Jordan worked miracles with my previously botched hair cut and now my face framing looks right and my ends are so healthy! I have had two blow outs with amazing results- no frizz for a week! On top of the superb quality in service, the salon makes you feel welcome and like a friend. Additionally, Linda did my brows one Saturday and they were so even and she trimmed them really nice. I’ve always been scared to trust other people beyond my sister who used to do my hair but I can confidently say I would trust any of the work of the stylists at this salon.

Book with Lesley! I had a full highlight done by Lesley and she nailed it. I originally had light brunette hair, which post highlighting usually turns brassy really quickly, so I enjoy going real icy. Lesley was patient and listening when I told her my end goal. Time flew by fast getting a full highlight as Lesley is so easy to talk to, she made the experience fun. After my blow out, my hair was transformed!! I am so happy with how natural my highlights look and she chose the perfect color to get me to the icy tone. I highly recommend this welcoming and clean salon and Lesley for color.

Lesley has been doing my hair color and style for over 3 years and she is the best! She is amazingly talented at balayage, color, blowouts and styling. I have very difficult hair to blow dry and smooth, but Lesley makes it look and feel amazing. She has taught me so much about how to keep my hair healthy and repair damage from over processing and heat and now my hair looks and feels stronger.

On top of all this, everyone at One80 Salon is super friendly and pleasant. I highly recommend!

This salon takes a very custom approach to your hair and what you envision for your future hair. The staff is attentive, and kind. One of the things that sets them apart is they do a consult first to discuss your hair goals that way when you come in there’s no confusion, or anxiety. After switching here and having two appointments this year, my family and friends have said my hair is the best it’s ever looked. I gained the confidence to use more products, understand what my hair needs and how to take care of my hair properly. I use Peter for color, and Jordan is the one that cut my hair the last time! I left the salon yesterday truly feeling like the best version of myself. I highly recommend!

Rémi knows how to cut hair. He is very exact and methodical. His cuts last many months.

Have had my hair cut and colored twice with Jordan and Peter each and I am IN LOVE with how it has turned out! They are both amazing, really knowledgeable (I am very curious and ask a lot of questions), open to all ideas and provide feedback on what would look good and what would be an alternative, and super respectful!

If you want first class service, come here. Jeremy is like a surgeon — and he operated on my hot orange roots that were beyond despair. But now I get nothing but compliments. Everyone who works here takes such pride in their craft and gives you their undivided attention. And Markell is an amazing stylist. He ordered me a rocking set of extensions as I grow out my start over cut which he did and looks great even without them. The front desk is extremely professional and the location is prime for downtown working professionals. I would recommend coming here if you want quality over just getting in and out.

Jeremy has been my colorist since 2006. When I was in my 30s and 40s, he created beautiful, blonde highlights for my brown hair. Now that I’m in my 50s, Jeremy has been able to make my gray hair a pretty soft brown. For over 16 years, I have looked forward to my monthly Appointments with Jeremy at Salon 180.

*OMG* just leaving the salon now and trust me when I say I NEVER do this but had to leave a review. I’ve neglected my hair for months and decided it was time to do something about it. I saw Peter for color and Jordan for cut and style. Trust me when I say you WILL NOT regret this. I highly recommend a consult first - they both provided input based on the look I wanted to achieve and then they freakin’ executed to perfection. The most beautiful shade of blonde customized with dimension using different techniques and then Jordan was so sweet walking me thru he was doing and why and then showing me how to recreate the look at home. Cannot say enough good things - team Jordan and team Peter forever!!!

One of the best hair cut and salon experiences I’ve ever had! Renee is an artist and the salon is completely professional. Every detail is cared for and each moment is attended to. I loved that they took before and after photos of my major 10 inch change. Plus Renee gave me styling tips throughout the session. I’m definitely going to recommend Renee and One80 salon to friends. The price tag may feel a bit high going in, but walking out you know that it is worth every penny!
