AWESOME venue to host a wedding, reunion or just a summer/fall gathering! We are a food truck & catering company (TRAIL BREAK taps + tacos) that is fortunate enough to cater one or two events here each season - and we'd LOVE to book more...what an epic office for the day!!

We had our wedding at Coolidge State Park and we had the PERFECT day with amazing weather (which they can't control) and really great communication and support from park staff (which they can!). Huge thanks to Jacqueline and the whole team - the site is beautiful, and we loved that we were able to group camp nearby!

Fantastic camping experience! Lean-too we stayed in was at a beautiful location with its own paths and outhouse. We had ridge overlooking a bubbling groundwater brook in a very quiet part of the woods. there were little pools with fish and frogs and the most beautiful rock formations. The water was crisp, but a great way to wash up if you can handle the cold.

Just an incredible place to camp! My campsite was a prime lean to on the edge of a mountain. The view was incredible. All of the staff were super helpful, and the park was clean and tidy, including the bathroom and shower. The location is good though it's a good drive for food, ice, supplies etc. I can't wait to make it back! Photos are the view from the campsite.

My wife and I stayed two nights in mid-September at a prime lean-to site.

What we liked most:
Privacy (the sites are mostly spread out, with very limited direct sight lines into the sites around you);
Quiet (quiet hours are 10pm-7am, but the campground was virtually silent all throughout our stay)
Staff (Tiffany and others were welcoming and attentive)

What may be off-putting to others (but we didn't mind):
Few amenities;
Some minor cosmetic issues in the restrooms (facilities were clean and stocked, but some paint chipping and wear was evident);
The prime sites have some impressive views, but most of the other sites are quite modest sized spaces cleared out in the woods

Really great camping here with Mountain views from the picnic area. Toilets and coin operated showers were clean and quaint with some fixtures that looked like 1950s . Really appreciated the way fire wood was sold (no plastic rope like in some campsites) the only problem was the roads, they were pretty hard on Nissan sedan I was driving.. tore up underside of bumper

Beautiful park with spread out and large campsites. Facilities are dated but clean. The on-site water tastes amazing. Both the CCC trail and the longer Slack Hill trail are really nice treks through various wooded terrain and the day use area at the top can either be hiked or driven too from the campsite area.

Excellent state park, like all Vermont State Parks there is no power available at the sites. we had no problem getting our 25 foot RV in a level space. Bikes were nice since it could be a distance to the shower. The showers are clean and cost $.50 for five minutes. lots of privacy at the sites very peaceful and beautiful area, would definitely return.

I have nothing but good things to say! This campground is perfect. The sites are good decent sized, plenty of privacy, great views. The lean to was perfect for this rainy weekend, well taken care of, clean!
The bathrooms and showers were clean, and we'll cared for.
No service,.except free wifi by the ranger stations. Which is great for a weekend away from it all.

We booked of group campsite, that's the best best camp ever, nice mountain view and beautiful sunset, the grass field so soft, we bring our light to decorated the pavilion, the parking lot is little bit far to campsite, so you'd better bring your wagon to carry your stuff.

This is your slice of quiet right here in Vermont! Great walk through forests almost tropical, fair incline so make sure you have plenty of water.

I found coolidge state park in 1998. The park and the surrounding area are my favorite places to get away and relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery.Been going ever since and plan on it for the rest of my life.

Primitive and breathtaking. The park has been maintained pretty much the way the Conservation Corps built it back in the 30's, so don't expect luxury in anything but the views from the prime lean-tos. The staff is professional and works hard to maintain the facilities. The view from the day use area is pretty special too. As a bonus, the park is centrally located and not far from anywhere. The one warning is that the road to the park is narrow and winding, not suitable for big rigs.

Really amazing campground. We stayed at a leanto and the group sites and both were beautiful and clean. The bathrooms and showers were also very nice and were kept up very well. The most amazing view in their day use area. All around a really good place to stay and lots of stuff to do in local areas.

Fantastic views from the lean to sites. Nice, clean bathrooms with flush toilets and coin op showers. Very quiet and peaceful. Great dry firewood for sale, as well as ice. Friendly staff. Recycling as well as trash disposal on site. No playground, but there are horse shoes pits.

For us camping doesn't get much better than sitting around a fire in a Saturday night, listening to nothing but the breeze blow through the tree canopy above. Sites are far apart and most of them big enough for our pop-up camper. Bathrooms are nice and clean. Showers are hot. Staff is very helpful and kind!
