Urban Roast

Urban roast was quite the experience. Apparently the restaurant changes its theme for every major holiday; thanksgiving, Christmas, etc. And the Christmas theme was certainly a hit. Not only is the decor focuses on Christmas, but also the drink menu and food menu. I tried the Santa’s Old Fashion drink and it was better than most classic old fashioned drinks. I also tried the flank steak with street corn. Everything was incredibly flavorful. The staff was kind, accommodating, and informative! If you’re in DC, definitely check this place out during the holidays!

From the moment I stepped into Urban Roast, I was enveloped in an ambiance that felt like stepping into a secret garden. The decor is nothing short of enchanting, with flowers adorning every corner - even the ceiling of the toilet had flowers dripping down, creating a whimsical atmosphere that's truly unique.
I had the gyro wrap and the burger, both of which were exceptional. The gyro was perfectly seasoned, with the flavors melding together in harmony, wrapped in a soft, yet crispy exterior. The burger was a masterpiece of juiciness and taste, with each bite leaving me more impressed.
Highly recommend for anyone looking to indulge in a meal that's as visually stunning as it is delicious.

What a fun & unique spot! We stopped in for coffee and dessert and were treated to a warm, cozy, and interesting atmosphere unlike any other I have experienced! I’d prefer stronger coffee… my latte was definitely more milk than coffee, but still good. Smores and the hot cocoa flight were fun & tasty. Check out this spot!

Absolutely adorable and romantic ambiance. Delish coffee...the food🥰🥰 we had the surf and turf..AMAZING! The steak smooth as butter..perfectly seasoned! As a native MARYLANDER's its hard to impress us with an exceptional crab cake.Urban roast pulled it off!! The grilled salmon was perfect..the house made Cesar dressing had a great bite to it and the salmon was grilled to perfection! For a date night be sure to ask to be seated in the Rose room. Great service, great coffee and great food!

If you want a gorgeous place that is picture worthy this is your spot! Really cute ambiance with flowers on one side and a bar that is Harry Potter themed on the other. The brunch board was delicious and their drinks were super fun. Highly recommend for a cute soft date brunch or a friends brunch meet up!

We dined in for brunch and opted for bottomless mimosas. Loved the flavor options and the service was great, we believe our server’s name was Tuson! We chose two brunch boards - rise and shine and sweet Belgian waffle. If you have a sweet tooth the Belgian waffle is great, loved the variety of items to share across the table. The place is great for pictures and aesthetically pleasing! The cocktail menu is extensive and makes you want to try everything!!

Urban Roast never disappoints. The atmosphere is very cool and changes with the seasons and the food is delicious. I ordered the grilled salmon and the Oreo s’mores. Both were very good. I like to come here every time I’m in DC.

This was my first time in Washington visiting my sister. This was one of the highlights of my trip. We left the movie theater and walked a few blocks and found this spot. It was cold so we initially wanted to sit by the fire. Then when we got the menu, we ordered teas/hot chocolate and a smores kit. The kit was amazing!!! This was my first time experiencing smores and I loved every minute! Thank you for a lovely experience!

Had a three course meal consisting of the spicy buffalo chicken dip, the surf-n-turf with asparagus, and red velvet cake with ice cream. I wasn’t a fan of the spicy buffalo chicken dip nor the cocktail but everything else was okay. The service and atmosphere would make me go back to this establishment any day, hands down!

The food, service and atmosphere was great. We had a bunch of appetizers. They were all so flavorful. I will be back. It was a great start before the Madonna concert. This is definitely a spot to check out in D.C.

The ambiance is amazing the decor and lighting is amazing. I was very surprised at the menu I thought there would be more food options but what they had was fine. I enjoyed my food but I loved the opportunity to just pull out my phone and take pics. The bathroom was so clean and fresh. The staff very friendly and knowledgeable. The drinks was great. I loved it here.

My husband and I did a date day at Urban Roast in DC. We had an amazing time. If you are looking for a holiday themed restaurant this is the place for you. They have specialty drinks for the holiday. Those drinks range from expresso flavored martinis to alcoholic hot chocolates. Their menu range from cheese boards to crab cakes, turkey clubs and steaks. They had desserts but none to my liking. Overall 5/5 and I will be back before the new years. RESERVATION is a must

This was a beautiful night cap for a long day. I was in town advocating on Capitol Hill for Brain Aneurysm healthcare, and my friends from college who happen to live in the District contacted me. They invited me to this beautiful gem to catch up and unwind!

Came here for the fall decorations. They were lovely and did not disappoint. We only ordered Fall cocktails, but every single one was delicious, notably moreso than most bars in DC. They are slightly more expensive, but I believe the quality justifies the price. The waiter was fantastic too. Would recommend coming here just for the vibes alone. Will come back in the future for food too.

Stopped in to have a cocktail after a Wizards game and to check out the holiday decorations before they come down. The cocktails were amazing, and my man was killing it behind the bar. I need to come back to have dinner sometime!

Everything was great! Had the chicken Caesar salad that was yummy! The atmosphere is so cool and worth the visit 🌸

We had such a winderful Christmas time experience at Urban Roast/ Kiss me under the Mistletoe recently! Our server Nyema was exceptional! She made recommendations to us about cocktails, appetizers, entrees and S’mores! She took an interest in us and made the first day of our visit to DC, so much fun! The espresso martini choices are impressive and delicious! The coffee and hot cocoa menus are perfect for a festive celebration on a cold day! I highly recommend dressing in your most festive clothes and going to Urban Roast. Ask for Nyema, you will be glad you did!

This place had everything I enjoy: a great vibe all around. The atmosphere was beautiful, my drink and my food was delicious!!! My family and I took my mom here to celebrate her birthday and she loved it. We love a charcuterie board and theirs was excellent. I had the salmon dish and it was delicious!! We had a party of 12 and not one complaint from anyone. That is worth a 5 star review!!!

Urban Roast is a solid go to. I frequent this restaurant and had a few times a week. Nathan who bartends in the back bar is who I get my espresso martinis made from. Best espresso martinis in the city! It’s bonus that they taste amazing but the atmosphere and ambiance is what makes it all worthwhile

This was suchhhhh a vibe for my birthday. The decor was EVERYTHING! DC you did well to this Toronto girl cause I was stunt. The customer service was amazing. I seen the manager coming in to make sure every detail was good but also blended in as an employee which I liked. Mannn just go, cause it's soooo beautiful.
