Edie Bees Confection Shop

Oh. Em. Gee. Edie Bee's is one of my favourite places in the world. I cannot visit Lewes without stopping in here. I love gummies and candy, and Edie Bee's has dozens of varieties of gummies. They also have a huge selection of unique candy "fruit slice" flavours! They also sell packaged candies from assorted brands, like Philly's John & Kira's and L.A.'s Sugarfina. (I'm a huge fan of both - bonus.) Their artisanal chocolates from the front case are also amazing. Is this store like the typical "shoreside" candy store with fudge and penny candy? No. It is higher end and a little more expensive. If that's a factor, you've been forewarned. My one critique would be that this layout does not seem to be easy to navigate for someone with a wheelchair/scooter. That doesn't affect me, but I do want to include that just in case! Edie Bees reminds me a bit of Lolli and Pops, if you've ever been to one of those, although it is smaller and does not have the international selection. However, this is a small mom 'n pop business, so it has much more charm than a corporate chain! If you love candy and are not super price-conscious, then Edie Bee's is heaven.

Another must stop. We go here for the fancy chocolates!! Amazing flavors and unique combinations. They also have other candy beside chocolates. Cute shop, friendly people, definitely recommend stopping by!

Charming, fun store with great music and sweet smell of chocolate. Such a happy place with great service and color-coded delicious treats. Everyone was happy in there.

This store is beautiful and smells delicious. We appreciated that there's a selection for both the chocolate lover and those who don't like chocolate.

A really sweet candy shop in downtown Lewes. Edie Bees has an amazing assortment of candy! Everything from hard candies to chocolates. We absolutely loved this store! The way the candy was organized by colors was also a really cool touch! The staff were great and helpful! The big old fashioned style lollipops 🍭were definitely kid approved.

Great great place for those with a sweet tooth. Their s’more bars are the best ever!

Best orange slices I have EVER had!!! They tasted like an orange dreamsicle🤤 Wish I could order online and have them shipped to me! Cannot wait until summer of 2023 when we visit that beach area on vacation to snag some more😋

I think I went to this candy shop 3 times during my 5 day stay in lewes. Definitely my all time favorite candy store. For starters, the shop is so cute, with buckets of candy piled to the ceiling. I found that all of the candies in the shop were picked expertly. Not so many candies that it got overwhelming, but so many fun ones You don’t always see mixed with classics, as well as a few exotic flavors. Not necessarily cheap, but everyone was friendly and i just loved this store. would choose them over the candy Kitchen for beach sweets any day. Definitely drop by when in lewes!

I felt that we walked into a Belgium chocolate cafe in Brussels. Beautiful display and delicious sweet treats.

This shop is like it’s own little world. We ALWAYS make a stop when we are in the area. It is beautiful visually and has an unmatched selection of candies and chocolates. A must-try when you are in Lewes.

It has the best fruit slices ever and a ginormous selection of sweets! Everything is beautifully and neatly displayed by color and the whole place is just so happy.

Beautiful clean shop with be ry personable service. We stopped in to have a bite of chocolate after lunch and we were not disappointed in the richness of the candy. Also, we took two jumbo job breakers home for our grandkids who are going to love trying to eat them.

It's an amazing place. Candy heaven like an old fashioned store with candy organized in glass jars by color. Our favorite place!!

Can you believe these aren't donuts? Marzipan artistic creations were almost too pretty to eat. The truffles were fabulous as well.

It has very very good candy. It is also very clean. I also like the candy rock designs. And the people there are very very nice, I think it is a very very good candy store.

Very cute store, lots of different things to choose from, I come back every year and I highly recommend it.
