Homestead B&B at Rehoboth Beach

This was our first travel with our pooch and we had a great time. B&B has both lovely beds and wonderful breakfasts. We all enjoyed our stay. Room was very, very clean - I'd been a little concerned about this given how dog friendly they are, but my concerns were unnecessary. There was a nice area for the dogs to run and interact. We slept well and ate well and will stay again.

Exceptional B & B hosted by the lovely Joe and David. Close to everything! Pros: coffee everywhere, homemade breakfast, pet friendly, a beautiful salt water pool area that was actually a pleasant temperature to swim in, a bocce ball court, a dog park!, attentive and gracious hosts. We stayed in the cottage which was perfect for our pup and cat! Loved the fenced in yard. We will be back! Thanks!

Our stay at the Homestead B&B was wonderful! We stayed in the Carriage House Loft, which was so clean and spacious. We also traveled with two small dogs, and they loved the private patio and the dog run. The breakfast was also excellent. We can't wait to come back!

My family had an amazing time here! The staff was very friendly and professional, the breakfast service was spectacular, the room was very clean (it smelled like a new apartment when we walked in), the mattress was very comfortable I slept like a baby. Great location too, only 10-15 min to rehoboth and dewey, about 20 min to the state park. You could get there sooner if there is no traffic. We will be back soon!

We had a wonderful time. Located in a quiet neighborhood within an easy drive of the beach and lots of restaurants. Our room was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was very good. The hosts provided good pointers on places to eat and things to do. We definitely intend to come back in the future!

The Homestead BNB is a wonderful place to stay. Joe and David are exceptional hosts that truly care about their guests by providing everything you need to make your stay the best it possibly could be. The amenities are fantastic! Our pup loved the dog run and breakfast was amazing. If you get a chance to visit you will not be disappointed. We will be back!

My partner and I stayed at the Homestead for the first time in October, and it definitely won't be the last. The b&b is cute, comfortable, and very pet-friendly. We enjoyed breakfast on the screened in porch, and appreciated the fenced in dog area for Rusty. The rooms are nicely decorated, and the b&b is within a 10 minute drive to the beach, with some great restaurants and breweries even closer. The breakfast was delicious, and the inn-keepers are very friendly and quick to respond to any questions or needs. I'm so glad we found this gem, and I can't wait to go back!

We stayed in the Loft which is a newly renovated 1 king bedroom with a large tub in the en-suite. The kitchenette area is perfect to have meals and the fireplace makes for a wonderful ambiance. There is great enclosed dog run with seating area for your pups. Breakfast was delicious and varied. They even accommodated my gluten free dietary needs. Would highly recommend!

My boyfriend and I just got home from a long weekend at the Homestead. We stayed in the garden room which has convenient porch access that made it nice to come and go. And this room as on the main floor so no stairs. When we weren't at the beach we were swimming in the salt water pool. Fresh and clean pool towels and mini fridge. A common room that is located below the loft that has access to a huge TV, couch, gaming area, cold drinks and coffee. Dvds are located in the breakfast room to watch for your pleasure. Joseph and David are so kind and hospitable. We met some of their fur babies and they really cared about our kittens that tagged along on our vacation. Can't have a B&B without breakfast and trust me they are doing it right. Coffee and tea 24/7. You can order whatever you like off the menu and they offer different main dishes every morning. I hope when you stay here, you get a chance to experience their 3 cheese quiche which was my fav. Yes the house is located on a busy street but that didn't affect our stay. Just turned on a white noise machine. The Homestead is the best home away from home. 😍😍😍😍😍

This place is just beautiful. Our loft room was clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The pool was great (4 ft deep) and relaxing. The B&B is quiet and we were able to forget about the rest of the world! Joe and David were perfect hosts. They were very friendly and helped us navigate Rehoboth. We thought we might try local restaurants for breakfast, but the food here was delicious. I recommend the strawberry jam with toast or english muffins. It's only a few miles from the beach, and you can probably find closer lodging, but we'll be at Homestead again in the future. Thanks Joe & David!

Rooms, service, breakfast, everything was wonderful. Nice outside mini dog park for our dog to run/play. Rooms were spacious and very clean. New breakfast menu each day. Basically a home cooked meal. Close to everything (Beach, parks, boardwalk) but far enough away that it was very quiet and away from the traffic of Rt. 1. So glad we found this place. Will definitely be back soon.

The hospitality of Innkeepers David and Joe made my stay! They were beyond thoughtful and cordial! The breakfast selection was very accommodating to my dietary needs—I was very grateful! The Orchard Room was extremely clean and tidy, and well appointed! I’ll be returning on the next trip that way!

If you want a dog friendly B&B close to the DE beaches, look no further. Joe and Dave are wonderful hosts. There are different sized rooms to choose from, a fenced dog area, a heated pool, Bocci court, and the breakfast menu changes daily. Book with confidence.

We just completed another fabulous stay at the Homestead with our 2 dogs! What a delightful trip to spend a few days away from home and visit the beach. Joe and David (the owners) recently installed a beautiful pool and new guesthouse. As usual, our room (the Cottage) was immaculate and the home cooked breakfast each day was delicious. Looking forward to our next stay!

This place just kept getting better. 1- The location, house, and property is beautiful. We could have spent our entire vacation at the B&B and it would have been as equally awesome. 2- it’s a short drive to the beach and downtown but far away where you feel completely secluded from the busy part of town, it was so incredibly relaxing. 3- Joe is one of the most accommodating and genuine hosts I’ve ever encountered. And the breakfast they meet (sources from their private garden out back) is outstanding each morning. We forward to coming back frequently.

Just spent 2 lovely nights here. Everything was very clean, the king bed in the Garden room was wonderful. The pool was so nice and made social distancing very easy. Close enough to the beach that it's accessible but far enough that you still feel like a retreat. Pet friendly, DELICIOUS breakfast. We are eager to return in the future.

Dog-Friendly Bed and Breakfast

This place was amazing. Joe and David were very accommodating and the stay was incredibly comfortable.

The breakfast area was very nice and had ice, water, coffee, tea etc available 24 hours a day.

The room was very nice and we slept great. Everything was immaculate and the whole house was decorated very very nicely!!

There was a fenced in patio, and a fenced in play area. The play area also had a brand new gazebo for the dog owners to sit and watch the dogs play. The gazebo also had strings of lights around the top which made it very cozy at night too!! There's a doggy shower outside and they provided doggy beach towels which was very handy.

The gardens and landscaping are amazing. Everything about this place feels planned out and very neat/organized.

I can't say enough about how welcoming Joe and David are and how beautiful Homestead is. I really hope we get a chance to come back again!!

The Homestead is a top place to stay in Rehoboth beach. With clean, updated accommodations, and above and beyond hospitality Joe and David truly provide an exceptional experience! One of our favorite parts was our morning breakfast. Freshly prepared and at our doorstep right on time every morning. We also love that Joe and David provide a dog friendly accommodations.

Felt right at home. Very relaxing atmosphere which is what we were looking for. After the stress from work, my husband and I were looking for a nice quiet place to recharge and rest. We made excellent choice. We will definitely recommend this place and we will definitely return

Joe and David are excellent hosts! My husband and I have stayed here twice now with our puppy. The bedrooms are comfortable with a nice seashore decor. Breakfast is delicious and healthy with great options for vegans. Plus you cannot beat the pet-friendliness! Looking forward to our return... Erika
