We’ve been taking our cats to Dr. Morgan since late 2006. He’s got a terrific instinct and practices true integrated care. When we got our new kittens, we were thrilled to introduce them to Dr. Morgan as well.

I never write reviews for anything, but felt compelled to write one for Dr.Morgan & his practice. He is incredibly gentle with my pup at every visit, and is the definition of professionalism and kindness. If you’re looking for a new veterinarian, you won’t find any better.

Dr. Morgan is very professional and nice. He knows how to handle your dog and he also is considerate with the cost of some treatments so, before giving you a prescription for your dog he gives you options.

Dr. Morgan and his team are awesome! They treated my cat with kindness and answered all my questions which I really appreciated as a first time cat owner. They also assisted me with transferring my cat’s microchip at no cost, which was so kind. I highly reccomend them!

Dr. Morgan and the staff at Georgetown Vet Hospital are the absolute best people. Dr. Morgan treats my old pup Beef with a kindness and compassion like Beef was his own. He spends time to explain all options, answer all of my questions, and truly make me feel like Beef is cared for. Without hesitation, I would recommend Dr. Morgan to anybody with an animal in the DMV area.

Hands down the best business in DC – out of all the restaurants, bars, shops, you name it.

Dr. Lee Morgan has cared for my mother and father in-law's 2 labs now I believe for 20 years. He is such an amazingly caring veterinarian that he has periodically answered questions for me, even though I live an hour away. While I don't think any doctor has time to do that for everyone, because I've my inlaw's he has been gracious enough to do that. I find his medical advice spot on and if I lived within 20 minutes of the good doctor, there is no one else I'd ever see. My in-laws love Dr. Morgan and I can tell just speaking with him, that he is at the top of the field in knowledge and expertise.

Dr. Morgan is the absolute best veterinarian in the city. You will not find a kinder, more loving, more competent professional in the game, and his staff go above and beyond to make your pet feel like their own. I have referred multiple people to this office and every single one now has a vet for life!

Dr. Morgan is amazing and takes such good care of our sweet Weimaraner. Our dog has needed two surgeries - one dog bite and one cut paw from shrapnel in the woods. We are so happy with the level of care and results. There is almost no scar. Dr. Morgan is our routine vet now as well. I also find Dr. Morgan’s wife who works the reception desk to be extremely nice and attentive.

Dr. Morgan is the best. I found his practice in 2007 when I was at my wit's end with the area options for veterinary care. He's taken excellent care of my two pups, he's honest and very cautious with testing and medication. He likes to try the path of least resistance - always, and I appreciate that in a vet. Where it's not life threatening, he's outlined options and allowed me to choose which is wonderful. We've just realized that he is such an unbelievably caring and trustworthy doctor that our dogs won't ever see another vet again. Thankful to have found him!

We are absolutely thrilled that we made the switch to Dr. Morgan! We have been taking our two dogs and cat to a large chain vet clinic for the past few years. They never know what is going on with our pets, and we have shelled out a lot of money to have problems we do not feel get fixed.
What we really wanted for our pets was what we grew up with in our small Midwestern towns - the warmth of a vet who knows your family/pets and really seems to care. I was not sure this would be easy to find and instead went for proximity and scheduled a second opinion with Dr. Morgan.
I was immediately impressed by the warm feeling of the clinic (something you don't get at a big box vet chain). We did not have to wait and everyone we met was friendly, including the resident dog! Dr. Morgan paid attention to me and our dogs and answered my questions in a kind way. He explained what he would like to do and the reasons, gave me a fair price quote, and was able to schedule my dog for surgery right away. He reassured me about the things pet owners worry about with surgery and we dropped our dog off for surgery knowing he would be a priority to the clinic all day (as would all the others there - they aren't trying to see as many pets as possible in one day).
What really impressed me was Dr. Morgan's offer after surgery to give personal care to our dog. He knew we had a toddler and a newborn at home and that our dog would be having a rough night after surgery. He acted in our dogs best interest and offered to take care of him overnight and control his pain. How incredible! Really, I am still just in awe that we found someone to take such good care of our pet, and of us!
I very highly recommend Dr. Morgan. We will be bringing the whole pet family to him!

We recently brought our rescue dog, Lady, for a check-up and were delighted with the kind, professional and caring staff at Georgetown Veterinary Hospital. The doctors and staff here take time to explain every aspect of their treatment suggestions and we left feeling confident that Lady is in the best of hands!

Georgetown Veterinary Hospital is a caring, empathetic hospital for pets and the owners who love them. Dr. Lee Morgan is an accomplished veterinarian who has also cared for dogs during multiple Iditarod runs. (A book of his experiences there is scheduled for release soon.)

The hospital's staff and physicians take seriously their responsibility to your pet's health.

Dr Lee Morgan and staff are incredibly kind and don’t over prescribe treatments or procedures. We have taken our pets here for 10 years and can not recommend them enough for care of Dogs, older and puppies. Dr. Morgan works outside the office as a non profit vet for Police Dogs and the Alaskan Iditarod. Amazing Veterinarian and person.

We moved to the neighborhood a year ago and found Dr Morgan on yelp— he’s the kindest, most knowledgeable vet! We had two kitties, and while the oldest was slowly passing he did everything he possibly could. We truly appreciated everything he did. And he always takes very good care of our little one! Highly recommend this vet!

Georgetown Veterinary Hospital is a terrific vet with a convenient location. While we've unfortunately moved too far away to continue to use the vet for our car-skeptical cats, we'd go back to GVH in a heartbeat, if possible. The staff is extremely responsive and clearly very caring about their animal patients. I highly recommend this business to anyone looking for a new vet!!

Georgetown Vet Hospital has the most heart-felt, loving, caring, compassionate staff I've ever met. They try so hard to please everyone and to keep everyone's pets healthy and happy. Especially during this time of covid, when the world is a little crazy, they are working hard and doing a wonderful job keeping us together. I am grateful for them and the little piece of sanity that they provide.

I've only ever had positive experiences here. They're kind and they really care about your pet as if it were their own. They fit you in, even when their schedule is full, if you're having an emergency. Highly recommended!
