The Oceanus - Rehoboth Beach

Always a good time. Perfectly located in Rehoboth, so close to the beach, all the bars and room 300 is the best. The staff are always welcoming and helpful. Nice touch with a pool, have not used it but it can see people enjoy that amenity. AC always in working order and bathroom is up to par. Decor is a bit dated but in good condition. The balconies are good for people watching and certain rooms can see all the way down to the beach. The street can be a bit noisy but never anything getting upset over.

My mom and I had a great experience with this hotel on our trip to RB! The staff were friendly and clearly cared about the visitors, striking up genuine conversations with us and going the extra mile to answer our questions about future visits*. Our room was clean and nice with a lovely view (we could see the ocean down the street, and the sunrise in the morning!). The outdoor hallway serves as a lovely little balcony with surprisingly comfortable chairs and we enjoyed relaxing out there. The location is also great, we were able to walk to the beach, boardwalk, and all the restaurants we went to. One possible but navigable drawback: there are no elevators, so plan accordingly if you have an upstairs room! Maybe bring two smaller suitcases instead of one heavier bigger one, if you can. If stairs don't work for you, definitely go for a room on the ground floor.

*We were asking about the ADA accessible rooms on the first floor to see if they would work for my brother, who uses a motorized wheelchair. Verdict: maybe? The space is a little small for a wheelchair like his to go through. But the woman (Jean, I believe) who was working when we asked about the rooms showed us the rooms, told us about the features, explained which furniture they would be able to move if it would make it more accessible, etc-- very kind and helpful!

As first-time visitors to Rehoboth Beach, DE, we spent five nights at The Oceanus, and it was worth every penny! The room was sufficient (double beds my only regret), but the customer service was outstanding, and the two block walk to the Atlantic Ocean was a huge advantage in this charming beach town. The staff were perfect! We’ll definitely return to the Oceanus for our next visit to Rehoboth!

The staff was so friendly, location was perfect, parking was great, pool was great. Everything was clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend for the value!

Can't beat The Oceanus. They just updated the rooms and removed the carpet. The staff is excellent and accommodating. I look forward to staying for years to come. Plus that pool and the location are awesome.

It was just a one night stay couple of blocks off the beach. Clean, comfortable well appointed at the price point and quiet. The room was compact but lacked for nothing. The AC was cold and ran without much noise at all.

As with any older town/location parking is at a premium.

You can walk to a wide choice of bars and restaurants in an area that is pedestrian friendly.

Stayed here for two nights and could not have been happier! Perfect location to walk everywhere. Rooms were very clean. Staff was friendly and the hotel was perfect for a family. Pool was very nice too. Only negative is the bathroom is tiny. Will definitely stay here again next year!

This was our first time in Rehoboth and we loved everything about our stay! Jean is the best and her food recommendations never missed. Thanks for a great weekend, we’ll definitely be back to the Oceanus :)

Every step of the way, the staff has been wonderful. From the original booking to the cleanliness of our room, we felt so comfortable with the Oceanus. The location is so convenient and the way they were so accomodating to us, we will be back. They are so conscious of cleanliness and that was even down to the way the staff cleaned the pool area every night....such attention to detail was very refreshing.

We enjoyed our time at the Oceanus. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The motel was conveniently located to stores, restaurants and the beach. Loved having the option to jump in pool before dinner.

My family just had a great stay at the Oceanus! The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean with a microwave and small refrigerator. As expected, housekeeping isn't cleaning rooms during your stay due to Covid, but you can get anything you need quickly. The location is perfect!!! Two blocks from the beach and boardwalk, a block from all the cute shops. We will stay here from now on.

Love it! Rooms are clean! Pool was clean! The property is well cared for! Love the solar panels! We walked everywhere and didn’t have the stress of parking. We will definitely be back!

Check in and out was easy. The staff was friendly and does a great job keeping up with the appearance and cleanliness of the motel as well with the pool. Our room was clean and comfortable. The boardwalk and beach were within walking distance. We will definitely look at this place first before we go anywhere else for our next time in Rehoboth.

What a nice little motel and so close to the beach!! Our room was clean, beds relaxing and the AC was nice and cold. We loved that once we parked the car, we could walk to the beach, shops, and restaurants. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The pool was sparkling clean with plenty of comfortable lounge chairs. So glad we took a chance and decided to stay here and plan on returning the next time we are in Rehoboth.

Great location for walking to boardwalk and beach with parking for one vehicle per room. Rooms are neat, tidy and very clean. Bathroom is small but updated with a nice hot shower. Microwave, mini fridge, pool are all added bonuses. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at the Oceanus for the first time this past weekend, but it won't be our last. The room was clean and we could walk to everything. There was an outside area with two chairs that looked over the pool . The pool area was well kept. We were only able to park one of our cars in the parking lot. But the person who checked us in was very helpful and explained the process to get resident parking passes, which we did. I would highly recommend this hotel.

This was the BEST! Every single staff member was amazing and kind and very helpful. We left a horrible hotel because it was dirty and disgusting and didn’t know where we were staying. The Oceanus was the first place we stopped to ask and they were so accommodating. They SAVED our vacation! They gave us a room at such a great price! The rooms were immaculate and cleaned every day. The pool was always clean and it’s 2 blocks from the beach. You can see the ocean from the balcony on a clear day. The check in and check out was so easy and stress free and there were no noisy neighbors. I recommend this place to anyone. We stayed for 8 days and I couldn’t have asked for more from a hotel. Especially when you have to pay for parking EVERYWHERE in Rehoboth, you save so much money because the hotel is free parking. Shout out to all the staff. WONDERFUL Place!!!!

Nice place to stay. Wifi was easy to access and everything in the room worked like it should. The staff was friendly and helpful. Its one block from Rehobath Avenue. You can walk to everything from the hotel. It was really nice to have the pool considering how hot it was this week.

This is a smallish motel with a great location. The rooms are a good size, but the bathrooms are on the small size. The staff is super friendly. The rooms are clean and in good order. Onsite parking is free and the pool is nice. What a great place. Just a couple of blocks to the beach and 1 block off of Rehoboth ave. Park the car cause you can walk everywhere

Located downtown, very clean, well maintained and comfortable beds with nice linens. We're pleased to be staying here.
