Hotel Zena, a Viceroy Urban Retreat

My stay was amazing. The staff was extremely accommodating and kind. The food and drinks were amazing. I love the artwork and the theme of Women Empowerment throughout the hotel. Lead Management was welcoming kind to our family as we dined. Will visit again.

I had a wonderful stay at the Zena Hotel during my recent trip. The hotel has a stylish, modern design and my room was spacious and comfortable. The location was perfect for exploring the city’s top attractions on foot. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout my visit. I especially enjoyed the on-site restaurant and bar. I would highly recommend the Zena Hotel to anyone visiting DC.

We enjoyed staying at this hotel during our vacation in the city and absolutely loved it. The hotel lobby was adorned with numerous contemporary art pieces, creating a unique and stylish atmosphere that made our experience unforgettable. Even when we had cocktails, the colorful art and design elements around us were fantastic. Our room was comfortable and stylish with a unique design, offering a tremendous view of Thomas Circle Park from our window. The hotel's location was perfect for exploring DC, and its proximity to Logan Circle made it easy to find great places to eat and enjoy ourselves. The service was top-notch during our stay, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay surrounded by art and design.

My stay at Hotel Zena was exceptional. It was my first time staying at a hotel with my dog and the staff made us feel so welcome. I used the lobby bar, the rooftop, and the valet parking and the service was incredible at all touch points.

My family just stayed at Hotel Zena for 5 nights on our Spring Break trip and we were so impressed with this hotel! From the moment we checked in, they loaded our luggage and took it to our room for us and refused to allow us to help (lol!). The staff was so welcoming and kind. Every time we went in and out someone always greeted us and welcomed us back. The rooms were clean and we had a great view! We loved how close the hotel was to the Metro and other close attractions, most everything within walking distance! We loved the women empowerment theme of the hotel and beautiful decor. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to DC!

I genuinely enjoyed my stay here at Hotel Zena. Everything from check-in to checkout was seamless. Everything was clean, the decor was super cute, my bed was comfortable, and the staff were attentive and friendly. Also, this hotel is in the perfect location! So many great restaurants nearby. I have ZERO complaints 5/5 stars. Would definitely recommend!!

From the lobby to the pillows Hotel Zena was an incredible stay and I can’t not wait to come back again. The lobby design was such an eye opener. Wonderfully designed and staffed by great hospitality. I had the pleasure of staying a week ago and was greeted by Latisha and Naomi who told me about the hotel and the other locations you have. I was more than impressed by their knowledge of the art and the location. I will for sure be coming back on my next stay in the area!

Gorgeous room. The gentleman who checked us in was extremely helpful. He also gave us an upgrade and later check out for an amazing deal, couldn’t turn it down. Rooms were clean and well stocked. Nice atmosphere. I would love to return soon!

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Stayed here with a couple friends for a few nights and had a great experience. The staff at this hotel are extremely helpful and went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable. There are a few things in the room that could’ve been updated (loose hinges on a cabinet, difficult temp control in the shower) but I’m not a super picky person & wasn’t really bothered by any of it.
The hotel is also in a great location. You can walk to restaurants, monuments, metro stations, & bus stops. If I come back to DC, I’ll be staying here again!

The accommodations were superb and very reasonably priced. The staff was very solicitous and helpful. The lending service was a very useful and a pleasant surprise. I was able to borrow a yoga mat so I didn't have to do my daily yoga on the floor. I will definitely stay here again when I am in D.C.

I loved it here! The staff was great, the hotel rooms were gorgeous, and the art around the hotel was definitely worth seeing. This hotel really embraced women and what we stand for and have accomplished. Would definitely recommend coming to stay here, it’s a wonderful experience!

I always enjoy my stay at Hotel Zena and exclusively will stay there now when I make my frequent travels to DC. I received a complimentary upgrade upon arriving but when there was a little issue with the heat in my room, I was switched to another great room next door in a matter of minutes and saw the maintenance crew resolving the issue for the next guest immediately. The customer service is so kind and the ambience and aesthetic of the hotel really made me feel like I wasn't alone this Christmas and I'm so thankful to have a go-to hotel moving forward.

Side note - the kitchen wasn't open during my recent stay, but I've had both their breakfast and dinner from the restaurant Figleaf during previous stays and they have always been delicious and large portions for a reasonable price!

I look forward to my next work trip and the opportunity to stay here again. It is clear they have the system running smoothly and down to a science amongst their staff and still find the time to make each of their guests feel so special whenever I would pass by. Thank you again, Hotel Zena, Staff, Maintenance, & Valet Services for another 5 star experience at my favorite hotel!

Without a doubt, Hotel Zena is one of the best places we’ve ever stayed! The rooms are beautiful, modern, and comfortable. The staff is so attentive and always willing to make your stay enjoyable. We enjoyed at least one drink each night at the Figleaf bar. Justin gave great recommendations, showed craftsmanship in each drink, and consistently impressed us with the quality of drinks provided. All of the main attractions in DC are totally walkable from Hotel Zena. The mural of RBG and decor was an added bonus!

I stayed here on a family trip to see the cherry blossoms bloom in DC. Location wise the hotel was great- only a short drive to the Washington Mall. We were greeted warmly in the lobby with pineapple ginger refreshments when we checked in. The rooms were clean and had amazing decor. Overall everyone on the family trip was impressed with the hotel!

My company had us stay here for a team summit and I had the most amazing time! The lobby area is spread out enough that a small group can work together at a table and we even had our meetings from the breakfast area some days. The staff are really friendly and helpful, the rooms are spacious and very clean. They do not have lunch at the restaurant which is great for those who are using the area to work but also means there isn't a water station or anything downstairs during the day. Really want to shout out Ezekiel, Maurane and Geta from the Front Desk/ Bell team, Erica from the restaurant and Lilian from Housekeeping - they were all such friendly people who, despite the busy days with multiple groups, always said hi and had a smile on their faces. Thank you for making this such a great trip to DC!

Really nice and modern hotel a short car ride from the heart of DC.

Staff were very friendly and our room was clean, comfortable and spacious. Despite being in a busy part of the city, the rooms seem to be well soundproofed.

I have been here two times. This is my hotel of choice when staying in DC. Nothing else compares to the level of professionalism and cleanliness this establishment has to offer. Great location and even greater views.

My husband and I stayed here for a weekend getaway. From the moment we arrived it was fantastic. Ezekiel was super helpful during check in and anytime we needed something.
The room was chic, spacious, and inviting.
Pros: plenty of drawer space including the bathroom, robes for relaxing, nice shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion all included, friendly and helpful service, food at Figleaf was amazing (Restaurant Week), and lastly bath sheets! I wish all hotels would use bath sheets!
Cons: no place to hang towels in the bathroom, the rug under the bed was a very nice touch, but also dangerous as we tripped over it a couple times, resort fee included access to gym, pool, in room water, and coffee (would be nice to opt out of the resort fee as we didn't access the pool, gym, and the water in a can was not really good), and lastly, while the shower was super cool to see and use, it was not super cool when someone turns on the light in the bathroom and brightens up the entire room #imtryingtosleep :-)
Overall the hotel was beautiful and a nod to strong women! Will definitely stay here again!

Neighborhood gem! Tucked away between Thomas and Logan Circles, Viceroy is conveniently located yet was a peaceful retreat to return home to! Design is stunning and art is everywhere! Rooftop pool and scene is just icing on the cake!

The hotel is one of the most amazing hotels I’ve ever seen!! From the art, the staff, the rooms, and the food -I’m simply obsessed! Kwoliwe was so friendly, knowledgeable about the history of the hotel and the art, and attentive. Charlene was so nice, caring, and really took time to get to know me! Hotel Zena will be where I stay every time I come
