I lived in DC while working and going to school and this place felt like home. Alhamdulilah the community was so warm and welcoming I miss it and I'm happy I had the opportunity to pray here! May Allah increase the leaders of this community center and Allow them to keep growing Ameen.

The place is right on the main. It has a provision for wudu and has plenty of space for namaaz with 2 floors. Very clean as well.

Edit: The Jummah Khudba is at 1:30 currently and the namaaz follows.

Best mosque to pray in Washington dc. Always welcomed here and Ethiopian community are the best in regards of humbleness and warm hospitality, mosque is always clean and quiet

Perfect naming and Location.

The Name reminds us The first hijra in ISLAM which was the migration of a group of Muslims, comprising eleven men and four women from Makkah to Abyssinia (Ethiopia).

The king of Abyssinia welcomed the Muslim refugees from Makkah into his kingdom. He gave them sanctuary, and they enjoyed peace, security and freedom of worship under his aegis.
