The best dining experience in town for me in Nantucket. My girlfriend and I had a great laugh chatting in the relaxing environment. I strongly recommend a visit here with loved ones. The staff were extremely friendly. They helped me understand the menu and patiently explain the dishes to me. I was amazed by the creativity of the menu. I loved the arctic char salmon so much that I even licked the plate, not even mentioning how it was well-represented!! We had a great time sitting outside while enjoying the ambiance outdoors. It is definitely a great memory for us.

Have visited props several times across the years when I have been on Nantucket. They have consistently delivered and I find it refreshing to discover a new menu each season but which carries through the same feeling and quality. I live in London and for this level of food (mouth wateringly, lick the plate good) and the source of the ingredients (local, prepped on site) the prices are in line with major cities.
This restaurant strikes a spot between fine dining but with a relaxed and familial atmosphere. It's not budget because you are paying for the sourcing. I feel this is overlooked in some reviews. The portions are designed for sharing and trying the broader menu. The cherry snap pea salad sent me to heaven and as a vegetarian there is a great range, with vegetables not left on the back seat unlike many locations. Experienced attentive and friendly service throughout. Love how much fruit they get into dishes. Cocktails not to miss.

Was seated on the second floor which had really nice vibe. All the plates were unique and vintage which were beautiful.
Portion is bit small, but all the dishes were perfect! - best hummus I had in my life. The server was also very friendly.
The only thing I didn’t like was diet coke because it came out in a tall thin glass with full of ice. It tasted bit like water and charged me $5 per glass. Even after two glasses, it felt little less than regular can.

Fantastic menu, service and atmosphere. It came highly recommended and did not disappoint. Really delighted that we spent our Saturday night in Nantucket here. We went for a selection across the menu to share between two: the tuna, cavatelli, the Korean short rib, the duck pancakes and the halloumi. Each dish was as delicious as the one served before it.

Exceptional, unique dinner options, promptly served, with creative flavors in each bite. My definition of heaven. Don’t be afraid to try things on the menu you can’t pronounce. It’s all brilliantly designed to delight. Compliments to the chef!

Delicious and creative dishes! Our Server was wonderful. The atmosphere is so charming. We loved our meal and specialty cocktails- scallion pancakes were my favorite. Very unique ingredient combos, farm to table with a hip vintage vibe. we ordered several small plates each to share- fresh vegetables and herbs, cool combos of textures and flavors, delish sauces. Such a great experience. impeccable food and service! Will return.

The food and service were fantastic. The broccoli dish is amazing. The acoustics are really bad, and everyone screams at each other to hear each other.

Holy you know what. The Chicken Fried Trout was nothing short of incredible. In Oklahoma, we love anything wrapped in unhealthy fried goodness and this was one of the most remarkable dishes I have had in a long time. Wonderful flavor, not heavy but filling. Bravo on that dish! My wife had the Cavatelli and it was in a league of its own, as well. Can’t wait to visit again.

The food is absolutely delicious. They are small plates so it’s perfect for sharing.

The food was absolutely fantastic. The most exciting menu I've tried in years. Some items, although tasty, are way overpriced - even for the island. The heirloom tomato salad had maybe 4 slices of tomato, and the roasted carrot appetizer consisted maybe of 1 whole carrot. They both cost nearly $30. Nonetheless, 5-stars.

Always a favorite of ours and a “must try” on every trip to Nantucket. Recent renovations and decor are stunning! Cocktails are ALWAYS on point here and mixed by the two of the kindest, most genuine and friendliest bartenders on island. You could close your eyes and point to just about anything on this menu and be blown away by what lands in front of you. This chef is one of a kind and his creative combinations are always so inspiring and transcendent. Don’t be afraid - just go for it and you won’t regret a single bite.

Sat upstairs which has a very cool candlelit ambiance like your taken back to the old whaling days, with a very nice street view at night. I am not a huge fan of sharable/tapas style dining with larger parties but the food here was very good and unique. Cocktails are exceptional, try the wake me up espresso martini and hale bopp.

This was a highlight of our Nantucket visits each of the past two summers. Creative, well-prepared food with layers of flavors, great staff who are very helpful with any dietary restrictions (gluten, in our case), and s lovely ambiance indoors and outdoors. The wine and cocktail lists are interesting and well-conceived. The menu is built principally around shareable small plates, though there are some “entree”-type plates, too. Highly recommended!

Excellent from start to finish. Our server, Alexa, was great, very accommodating with helpful suggestions. The kitchen staff is extremely talented; the composition and presentation of each plate was well thought out and executed with finesse. We were impressed with the variety of components for each dish, without any repeats throughout the menu. The hard work from the back of house was evident, and nicely complimented with the front of house’s finishing touches. A very well run establishment we can’t wait to return to.

This was a great place for amazing small plates if you enjoy high quality, creative gourmet fare! The service (Leigh) was friendly, informed, welcoming and upbeat! I especially loved the chicken liver pate and the crispy sweet potatoes! Am amazingly good meal at a fun place! I'll be back!

One of the best dining experiences I have ever had in my life. Drinks, food, dessert, atmosphere, and service were 10/10.

Nice place - we sat outside and they did a great job creating ambiance out there. Everything we had was fantastic. Nantucket prices - expensive! But that's everywhere. Some really inventive and creative food choices and it was fun to try them all. I had never had "tapas style" food that wasn't tapas!

We enjoyed everything we ordered here whilst sitting outside in a really well appointed space.
Seared shrimp were tops, chix fried trout was clean and unique…lettuces and drinks also done well. Items came out at a perfect pace with exceptional service.
