Hi Buttercream staff. I ordered a cake a few weekends ago. A 2 tier cake with two different flavors. I hosted a surprise party for my boyfriend. The cake was the part I was the most nervous about. When I saw the cake, I almost cried. It was beyond the most beautiful cake I had ever seen. It was beyond perfect and beyond what I was looking for. After I saw the cake, I immediately took a deep breath. When I saw it, I knew I made the right decision. I can’t thank the staff at buttercream enough. Seriously. My boyfriend loved it, and was amazed when he saw it. All of our guests loved it, and brought pieces home. We’ve multiple people from our party continue to ask us about the cake. The flavors were beyond delicious. Every person commented and was staring at their plates while eating this cake. It was perfect.

Fantastic bakery. Our Chocolate Bourbon Pecan Pie was a masterpiece. Delicious. Order now before December 31st closure.

Buttercream Bakery did an absolutely fantastic job with making the wedding cake process so easy and streamlined. We loved our tasting, and the cake was absolutely incredible— guests raved about it! I ordered a custom cake for my fiancée’s birthday. From start to finish everything was perfect with Buttercream. They responded to emails right away, created the customization my fiancée wanted for her birthday, and gave directions on how to best keep the cake. The cake tasted absolutely delicious. These cream puffs were THE HIT for our small backyard wedding reception! We had a cake (not provided by Buttercream), but, it was overshadowed by these delicious puffs. Everyone asked where we got them, and kept going back to get more or try to choose one with a different flavor (we had mocha and vanilla). These are unlike anything I've had from anywhere else - just absolute perfection. Having something fancy and unexpected like this really made our unconventional wedding feel a little more special. I even had a friend sneak several into my car so I would be sure to have a few as we drove away (because you can be sure that there were no leftovers!) Thank you Buttercream!

I was in DC for the weekend and my Airbnb was close to the bakery; I’m too embarrassed to admit the number of times I stopped in to get another treat. Everything I tried was amazing! Like AMAZING!!! Their savory breakfast roll was super. The one I had was filled with egg, cheese, & sausage. The Queen Bee was flakey and soft and buttery and sugary, a perfect balance. Oh my, I want one just thinking about it.
Ps.- their unicorn hot chocolate is adorable!

Looooooooove their cake and cupcakes! These people are top notch and make high quality baked goods, you will not be disappointed. I got a gorgeous unicorn cake from them that was a huge hit with my friends and I got myself a cotton candy cupcake that was the absolute best.

First, the customer service was really good. I was running late for my pick up and it was not a problem, the girl I spoke with was very nice. The cupcakes were beautifully presented and tasted great. I ordered the gluten free elderflower lemon cupcakes with blackberry jam. My boyfriend has an allergy, so we've been on the hunt for really good gluten free cupcakes. These were light, fluffy and moist. Will shop there again for our pastry needs!

We ordered a simple wedding cake from here and it was delicious!! The staff was fantastic- they were very understanding and communicative with us. They also explained carefully how to handle the cake and how many hours to refrigerate it for. We had such a pleasant experience with Buttercream Bakeshop and highly recommend them to everyone!!

The cake of my dreams was created by Tiffany at Buttercream. When we did our tasting I was blown away at how I would be able to choose as every flavor was better than the last. She did an incredible job pulling our English garden vibe together for a beautiful cake on our wedding day.

My older daughter loved her Wonder Woman cake! It was honestly looked almost too good to eat. Almost. She had her favorite flavor, S’mores.

They made my younger daughter’s Moana dream come true with her birthday cake which also incorporated her favorite flavor: Vanilla cake with lemon curd and strawberry buttercream (despite it not being on their menu at that time). The cake was the right amount of sweet and the buttercream was fantastic.

My husband had also purchased one of their peek-a-boo cakes (Elderflower soaked lemon cake with blackberry jam and vanilla buttercream) for my birthday. Let’s just say this family of four devoured it!

I ordered a cake from Buttercream Bakeshop for an engagement party. From start to finish, Buttercream made this such a great experience. Staff is super responsive to questions/inquiries; pick-up was easy; and most importantly, the cake was gorgeous and delicious. Can't wait to order from them for the next occasion!

We ordered a three-tier wedding cake along with an assortment of desserts. The cake was delicious and we were able to sample all of the options beforehand to combine the flavors that we enjoyed the most. We also ordered an assortment of desserts. We were offered a wide variety of options to choose so chocolate lovers and non-chocolate lovers (gasp!) had a few options to choose from. Would definitely work with them again in the future.

Buttercream offers a really unique and delicious array of baked desserts for all types of occasions. Throwing a birthday party or bridal shower? They will design custom baked items with pretty much anything you'd like on them. Just want something to bring to a friend's dinner? Grab something quick from their pre-baked options. We got Game of Thrones brownies from here, and they were excellently crafted and tasted great! Highly recommend BB for anyone looking for a truly unique baked good or dessert for any type of event!

Oh my goodness that cake. That cake was phenomenal. We had no idea what flavor to choose and went with one of the popular choices, raspberry almond. Now I know why it was so popular! Buttercream Bakeshop nailed it! It was the most delicious cake I’ve ever had. It will be impossible to not eat the piece we saved in our freezer.

Stopped by this lovely shop specifically for their signature cinnamon scone (placed on top of counter), pairing it up with a coffee makes a perfect afternoon. I actually prefer the scone version to a tipycal cinnamon roll for its soft cake texture.

I can’t express how happy I am to have found Buttercream Bakeshop. I have always struggled to find a local bakery that would be able to bring my custom visions to life and Buttercream Bakeshop went above and beyond to exceed my expectations. For a recent birthday I requested an intricate cake with vintage piping and glitter cherries and the results were outstanding. The cake was definitely the star of the party - everyone was blown away by how great it looked. From start to finish the process of ordering the cake was easy and seamless. Everyone I interacted with was an absolute delight. Buttercream Bakeshop is my new go-to for any future events.
