This is our third time coming to DC and our second time staying here. The location is great and within easy walking distance to many landmarks and museums. The price is very reasonable and the staff could not be friendlier. The staff really are a highlight of this hotel. They are super nice and accommodating and take hospitality and service to another level. If you’re looking for a place to stay in DC, look no further.

Stayed here in the offseason. Staff were friendly. Room was basic but clean. Continental breakfast was decent, a bit more variety over the course of the week would’ve been nice but glad that the available options each day were more than just carbs.

By far the best part of staying here is the location. Just a few blocks from the National Mall and also located in a safe, easy to walk area. This hotel is a great option if you want to see the major sites on foot. Only downside to the location is that there aren’t a ton of dining options in the immediate area, and the hotel itself has pretty limited food options past breakfast.

You couldn't ask for a better location right next to the national Mall and a metro station. They have free complimentary breakfast which fit all the kids with plenty of options. There's also a nice full size gym and they can hold your luggage while you explore the town. We had two queens and a pull out bed which was perfect for a family

We stayed here for the holidays for our Christmas vacation as a family of 5. Our room was two double beds and a pull out couch. The room itself was kind of small but good enough for the few days we were there. Hotel staff is kind and respectful but didn’t go out of their way for anything. They had a pretty great selection for breakfast, better than most hotels. Breakfast times are different on certain days of the week so be aware of that, signs are posted. Also the breakfast crowd is big and they don’t have a lot of seating for everyone. So if you don’t want to eat in your room I suggest you get there early. They have a cafe on the top floor that is seasonal and the lobby has a menu you can order from after three. It’s expensive, but everything on the menu except for the salad is worth the price. The salad is the small size you’d get at wal mart and you’d pay 12.00 or so for it. The hotel is a great location if you’re touring. It’s an easy walk and there’s also a Starbucks, subway, McDonald’s, CVS, and other places at a 10 minute walk if the hotel food isn’t what you’re looking for. The rooms are over a highway so it was a little noisy at night. Overall we had a great stay, and would probably stay here again if we came back to DC.

I had the pleasure to stay at the Hyatt Place Washington DC/National Mall with my wife. When I got to the front desk to check in I was greeted by Gregg what an exceptional member of your hotel. His professionalism and kindness and warmth made me feel like I just got home. My wife had the chance to meet him as well and she had the same opinion. Congratulation on such a great member in your team. The hotel was fantastic great location and service. I will recommended to anyone that will come to Washington D.C.

This couldn't have been a more satisfying experience...it hit the mark for good breakfast, pragmatic and good for budget, clean and quiet, and location... it was easy to walk to all the museums and attractions we wanted to see. We'd gladly consider it again should we take a vacation in DC.

Everything here was very nice. Our room had a king bed and a couch, which was great to relax on at the end of a long day of museums. Not having only our bed to relax on was so nice. The staff was very friendly and the hotel was pretty close to the metro which was super nice.

Had a wonderful stay here. The rooms were great. Didn't hear much outside noise. Walkable to the DC stuff I wanted to visit with my kids. Breakfast was simple but always had enough tables and food.

I stayed during the holidays. they did have some staff shortage issues because people called in sick. The staff members that were on duty were very professional, very courteous, and customer focused.

Upgraded to a king suit, it was perfect, view over the city, huge room, a whole dinning room table. Don't worry about the fire department, we didn't here them too often

Overall, I'd say it is the best hotel for facilitating a vacation in DC. By that, I mean that it isn't a destination itself, like the Watergate or something. It's there for when you are done exploring and want to rest after a long day.

This hotel is set about half way between the National Mall and all the Smithsonian's and the wharf. That makes both locations easily walkable. The roof top bar is a nice place for some food and drinks and a great view. Even better, the entire team at the hotel were friendly, happy, anxious to provide information, and just created an enjoyable atmosphere during our stay.

This is a fantastic place for service, quality And efficiency. Check in was easy and every morning breakfast was very efficient restocking food and preparing tables for the next guest. There were many options at breakfast and everyone was very accommodating for our needs. Rustin was so caring and met our needs checking us out. We had two evening meals in the restaurant and they were very tasty and we relaxed as much as we wanted. This Hyatt is a great choice for location to many attractions.

As a follow up to my review from during my stay about the exceptional staffer named Greg, I feel it would be remiss if I didn't point out the excellent service that my son and I received from front desk staff Lexus and Kay. They were lovely to deal with, as was manager Michaiah, who was genuinely inquisitive about how our stay was as we were leaving. This hotel has nailed it! They know how to treat their customers and I want them to know how appreciative that I am of them. Way to go, Hyatt Place Washington DC/National Mall!!!

Just had a wonderful stay at this hotel. For starters, the staff was beyond kind and hospitable. We arrived early and planned to store our bags before check in time, but to our surprise, the room was ready early so that was a bonus! The location, while perhaps not right in the middle of tons of shops or restaurants, is a reasonable distance from all the touristy stops in the area. Grab a bike, and everything is a short ride away. We walked to the wharf and had lots of food options. I appreciated not staying on a super busy main road. Easy to access Uber/Lyft. The rooms were clean and tidy with a bedroom area and small living room, fridge, and coffee maker. Free breakfast was nice. Actual food options, not just a cereal bar. For those who can appreciate good water pressure, this place has plenty of it 😁 The only con I can think of is lack of usb ports for charging in the rooms but not a big deal at all. Would definitely stay again. Thank you for your hospitality!

I stayed here twice with my friends in August 2022 and it was a great decision on my part. I attended a concert at Nationals Park and one at The Anthem. I enjoyed the free breakfast and the roof-top bar, which had a great view (pictured)!

Kinda pricey during peak times, but I think it is worth it just based on the location of the hotel.

Our group was treated like VIPs! Robert Smith did an amazing job and brightened my day with his smile in the mornings. He was very attentive, friendly and offered to assist us. Bobbie Patterson took great care of us from our banquet requests to the storage of our boxes. Andrea M at the front desk was amazing and had a very pleasant demeanor. Thank you to the wonderful team at Hyatt! Jeremy, ours sales liaison was very responsive. I recommend any groups to stay at the Hyatt at National Mall.

This hotel is in the perfect location! Close to all the monuments and museums. The rooms are very clean and nicely decorated. The elevator has great security because you are only allowed on the floors that the rooms are in with the room key. Breakfast is a great plus! Oh and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

(If staying here, go to breakfast early. It fills up fast! ). Thank you Hyatt Place National Mall DC staff. You are the best!
