Cottage Cafe & Fireside Lounge

This is an awesome place. Great portions to cost. ThebService was excellent they took our large party. Even if you stuffed and your going to be take home some.of their delicious pies and yummy cinnamon rolls!

We will be back!

I came here to wait for a ride. One of the local folks I was doing business with advised this location to eat as I was waiting.

I could see that this place had a lot of regulars by the interaction with the waiters/waitresses. The atmosphere was good and everyone seemed friendly. It was breakfast time, but I tried the milkshake since I had already had breakfast earlier. The milkshake was overpriced, but it was good. The waitress who helped me had a great demeanor, and if she was faking the part of being nice and friendly , then she did a great job.

Anyways, there is a picture of where I was sitting at the bar. You can see the station where the cooks place the food. The plates of food were mainly breakfast and sandwich items, and the portions were generous.

I went to the bar and had a Club Sandwich. I got hit for $.78. That’s a lot for a few extra strands of onions that I could not detect had been added to the salad.

My short visit here requires another visit, and I suggest anyone who reads this to come check this place out.

This restaurant was recommended by a coworker. We did not expect it to be so busy. Sat at the counter. The only bad part was that people kept holding the entrance door open. The breeze hit the food in the window every time.
We got our food quickly, and the cinnamon rolls we ordered to go were excellent. Service, food, and atmosphere were perfect. It's a very relaxed, home like atmosphere. We will eat here again next time we are in the area.

If you look up "great breakfast spot" In the dictionary you would find this place. and it's not just breakfast. It's lunch and dinner too. huge menu and everything is served perfectly and hot and fresh and this services incredible. Great cocktails.Fresh brewed iced tea.
don't even get me started on the baked goods.
I ate two pies ..2 whole pies in one weekend!! they were so incredible.

Awesome little Cafe. If you haven't stopped by this place, you should. The service was wonderful. The grilled chicken fajita salad was huge and the best we have had. Also, we had to try the cheese fries. Needless to say, we had to get to go boxes. Oh well, now we have lunch for the next day.

Went St. PADDY'S Day after shooting night photography all night. Great, fun staff, and the homemade corned beef hash was the best part of our breakfast! Will definitely be back. Service was fantastic!

Fast and friendly service! Gets busy on Sunday. We like our hash browns more well done, Bloody Mary was amazing, hot chocolate was reallly good, corned beef has was money. Enjoyed our time!

The customer next to our both wanted an omelett with no eggs. The waitress handled the situation brilliantly and with grace.

Friendly staff and delicious food. Stopped in on our way home and glad we did. Ordered the Eggs Benedict which was amazing and their pancake was so yummy.

This is one of my favorite places to stop for food if I have the chance! Great service and the best fries I’ve ever had in my life. Parking available on the side and front for cars, plus a lot in the back for bigger vehicles like trucks and RVs. No set times for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, so everyone can get what they want when they want it. A definite must-try if you’re looking to get some food around here.

Haven’t been here for years but used to love to stop on my way through town. This trip didn’t disappoint the food and service here is still great. We stopped here on a Sunday morning on our way back home and while it was busy we were seated quickly and had food in no time. Our server was super friendly. We will likely stop here again next time we are on that side of the mountains.

Forest time here. Google said it was busy from the live update but we were seated right away. The coffee was ok but the food was awesome. The hash is a must do. Plus pull tabs??? Yes please.

This place was awesome. The server had a smile from ear to ear and was very friendly. The prices were very fair and the portions were sizable. My corn beef hash was homemade and very fresh. My wife’s breakfast had more bacon than I could count. There were at least 6 pieces. Lol. This was my first time here but I’ll definitely be back much more often now that I’ve discovered it.

Hands down best food and service in Cle Elum! It’s so hard to find good service these days and the Cottage Cafe has AMAZING service. All the food was tasty and well prepared and not greasy at all! Excellent Sausage vegetable soup! Mac n cheese is great too very creamy! Our server kept the coffee coming & even asked if my husbands soup was still warm enough for him after he was midway through it. Then as we were ready to pay she asked (knowing we were traveling) if my husband and I wanted some coffee to go. She gave us 2 large hot cups of coffee in styrofoam cups with lids!! If you are passing through this is the place to go!

I stop every trip over Snoqualmie pass. Cinnamon rolls are fantastic, apple crisp is also great.

Loved this restaurant. Home town friendly that will warm your heart along with their amazing food. Bonus points because our waitress brought me a large bottle of Tabasco. #FTW
