I have been using Tower Cleaners for years. Great customer and the do great work on my clothes.

I’ve gotten dry cleaning as well as alterations done here before! The dry cleaning is about $20 for a dress (both formal and professional dresses) and have come back clean with no issues. For the alterations, I got a formal dress hemmed, which had 3 layers with the top being chiffon, for about $80. They were able to finish in less than 2 weeks. The owner is very nice and has remembered me. I’d definitely recommend this place!

Tower cleaners is a great local business. I've been using Tower for years for dry cleaning. They do a great, quick job at a good price. What is most impressive to me though, is on how honest the staff is about their ability to repair damaged clothes. I have taken repairs to them, the owner always inspects the seams and fabric closely. I looks at the garment in great detail. If they can repair it, they will take the job. If there is any doubt if the garment can be saved, they will pass. I respect that immensely. My family has never been disappointed in the results.

I have been a customer of Tower Cleaners for many years. They are always professional and provide excellent service. I regularly take my dry cleaning to Tower and have had them do alterations. My 80 year old parents live in Maryland, and whenever they have anything to clean of a particularly delicate nature they will have me take it to Tower for them instead of using their neighborhood cleaners.

Friendly service and usually prompt. They do light tailoring and adjustments here at market price. If you submit anything leather however expect a lengthy wait.

I tried a lot of dry cleaners before settling on Tower. I regularly get my shirts and blazers cleaned here and the few alterations I’ve needed were great. They’re super affordable and do solid work. I come all the way from Columbia Heights because they are the best in town.

Quality of dry cleaning is always excellent and consistent and timely. Need a quick turnaround? Just them! I've never had a quality issue. Even better is their tailoring service. Need something hemmed or fixed? They'll make it as good as new.

Customer service is always excellent. This business is as "mom and pop" as you get and I'm so happy to support Towers versus those soulless "Dryy" shops I'm seeing around town, which cater to millennials I guess. At Towers, you're treated as a person and not as a number and there's quality and pride behind their work.

Tower Cleaners has rightfully earned my loyalty. Beyond their high quality, on time service, I am always greeted with sincere interest. Their honesty is equally shown in not accepting work that cannot be returned with value. I remain duly impressed.

These guys are honestly the best. I primarily use their wash and fold, but have used them for alterations from time to time. High quality, prompt service and FRIENDLY as heck. They've done rush orders for me in the past, and have not complained when I forgot about clothes left behind and left them there far longer than I should have. It's really all you can ask for in a dry cleaner.

Ever since I moved to Shaw 4 years ago, Tower Cleaners has been my go to even if it meant walking an extra half mile to get there. Super nice and great service. Dry cleaning is always ready when they say it will be. Fully recommend.

Amazing, friendly, helpful, above and beyond standard service!!

I had a big work meeting to attend, parked my car and noticed I had a split in the seam of my dress pants in the lower thigh area that was growing larger. Yikes!

A quick Google search showed that Tower Cleaners was the nearest dry cleaner in the area. I walked in and shared my predicament.

The gentleman at the counter was sympathetic, but said they didn’t have anyone on site at the moment who could patch it up. But he offered to try to pin it together for me. I was desperate and gladly accepted.

He pointed me to the dressing room and I was able to discreetly hand him the pants while I waited for him to do what he could.

A few minutes later, he shared he was done and discreetly handed me the pants back. I was a bit confused as I couldn’t feel any pins, yet the pants looked and felt as good as new.

I put them on and then exited the dressing room asking him what kind of magic he worked. He said though he doesn’t usually sew or use the sewing machine, he was able to figure it out for me.

I asked how much it costs and he said it was on the house.

I am still blown away by the generosity, kindness, and just all around exemplary service that was shown to me in my time of need. I will definitely be bringing all of my dry cleaning to Tower Cleaners.

I've moved further away now, but Tower Cleaners were my dry cleaner for 5+ years and always did a great job. They also did a nice job with any alterations or other work I needed done, including helping to fix my grandfather's WWII peacoat. I highly recommend them!

I began using Tower Cleaners about two years ago after my old cleaner closed, and can definitely say they do a much better job!

5 stars. Lived across the street my first year in DC, moved further away 4 years ago but have kept going to the same location. Fair prices, amazing quality cleaning, and extremely friendly staff. Highly recommend. They also are experts at making keys, and could not recommend more.

There is simply no better place to go in the DMV for dry cleaning, laundry and alterations. This family owned business goes above and beyond providing quality and customer service. It would be foolish to go anywhere else — in over four years of being a loyal customer, I’ve never once had to return with an issue.

I dropped my suit off here late on a Saturday, needing it pressed for a wedding on Monday. Every shop in the neighborhood told me they couldn't have it ready, but the crew at Tower Cleaner said they could do it.

The suit itself was covered in cat hair, and they told me they would not be able to clean it in that time which was fine.

When I received it not only did they press it but cleaned it when they absolutely did not have to.

I'll be bringing my stuff here for the rest of the time I live in DC.

Great customer service here. I had a small issue recently - one of my shirts didn't make it in the same-day turnaround when I came in for my pickup around 5pm. They were quick to apologize and take ownership of the problem. I think the owner actually drove out to the main facility to pick it up that night (?!) and to make sure it was there for me first thing the next morning. And after all that, he then insisted that I not pay for that order! I think he over-corrected a bit, but Tower Cleaners has my vote, and my business.

Great service! Reasonable prices. Nick has also been able to do a rush job when I needed it. All my clothes look great!
