Flight Wine Bar

Tried one of the many cleverly named wine flights and a charcuterie selection. Great atmosphere. Great service. It was really packed around happy hour, but thinned out a lot by 7-7:30.

Cozy and vibrant wine bar. Definitely great for a second date or spot to have a drink and kill some time.

The host and staff were super nice and flexible even though we told them we were just killing our time before our parking ended and it was cold outside.

We had a long list of wines to go through and got cozied up and drank. Some great selections of domestic beers. Will be back again, unfortunately did not try the food but it sounded very nice.

It's definitely a hidden gem! Loved the vibes and atmosphere. The chicken was some of the best that I've ever had and I've been eating fried chicken all my life lol. The cole slaw was also thoughtfully seasoned and not just something on the side for decoration. The wine selection for flights was also vast and the pour for each tasting was at least 3 or 4 oz each and came with a variety of 3 for the flight! Highly recommend and I will definitely be back!!!

Attention to customer is obvious and the menu reflects that, plus the staff all super helpful. So many ways to try great, funky and unique wines. Definitely go outside your comfort zone with a flight. Something for everyone, will be back to dive into the bottle list...

Amazing wine bar with some of the best wine selections in DC and an amazing and knowledgeable staff. Plus, their food is absolutely outstanding! I love to come here for dinner and highly recommend their fried chicken and a side of their potatoes! If you come to Flight, come for the drinks and stay for their food. I can’t wait to be back!

My Fiancé and I went to Flight as our first start to our date night. Our host was FANTASTIC. She was very helpful as we picked our flights from the menu. The charcuterie board was awesome as well. My fiancé and I enjoyed ourself. Gratuity was included and the bill, this was the first time gratuity was included and the waiter told us as she brought the bill out.

If you are looking for a charming bar, fine wine and good food, you can’t go wrong with Flight Wine Bar. It’s cozy and great for a date or a get together.

Love this place! The wine flights were fantastic. I rarely enjoy all the wines I get in a flight but all g try hecwines the bartender picked for me were excellent. The bartender was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and provided outstanding service.

Came here to have a drink while waiting for a table at Daikaya. The staff were very accommodating to squeeze our party of 4 in before a reservation coming for the table 45min later. We enjoyed the ambiance and drinks so much that we came back as a party of 2 for dinner the next day. They remembered us and were again able to squeeze us in at a table even though they were very busy. The staff and food are amazing! We had 2 apps, a main, and a flight of wines each and left feeling satisfied. Great experience all around!

Had a fantastic night at Flight. The owners are very knowledgeable about wine and they had a lot of small producers that you can’t find anywhere else. The calamari was very good and loved that it was not fried! Good calamari does not have to be.

Must visit in DC!

Liv provided great knowledge and suggestions for our wine flights. We also tried the scallops and beef skewers. The beef was under seasoned and the chimichurri was a bit bland. Scallops were very good. Very enjoyable experience and atmosphere.

I truly enjoyed this place especially the wonderful staff and their outstanding service and attitude. Came in late, about 45 min before closing and had time for only a glass or two. The environment was open and comfortable and had lots of small tables. I can imagine if crowded the place may be loud but fortunately it was nearly empty so made for a quiet experience. The wine list was varied and provided enough choices to please nearly any wine drinker. The best part was the crew didn't try and hustle me out the door as it got close to closing. In fact, they said if you stay a little after to finish, it's totally fine. That is almost unheard of and so impressed me. I'll be going back for that kind of attitude alone even though the wine was great.

We love coming here- welcoming environment, helpful staff. Each time I leave, I’m already planning which wine I want to try next! Hard to chose between old favorites and new discoveries. The food is built to pair with the wine- I’m craving the faro at the moment!

An excellent experience. The food was fantastic, and the wine selections were supurb. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable about the wine and also wine pairing.

Fiona made this experience amazing, very knowledgeable about the wine and just a joy to chat with. Great personally. Im not a white wine person usually and she got me to get the Kruger-Rumpf, Estate Riesling. It was a great wine that paired lovely with out cheese platter! She’s amazing and suggest you recommend her when you come here.

Great setting, delicious food, nice selection of wine.

Loved the concept and feel of this bar. Dimly lit, nice interior, great date spot. The staff was very helpful in choosing a wine flight from their extensive list. Also order the grilled bread if you really wanna have a neutral palette when tasting the wines and because the grilled bread is really good.

Amazing selection of wines! Vegetarian options available for dinner. Staff's wine knowledge and food pairings were outstanding! Shout out to Fiona for custom making me a flight! As a NY'er visiting DC on a weekly basis, this was a pleasant dining experience.
