Mark was great!!! Went in for hiking shoes. Got there just as he was locking up, but he opened the door & asked what I was looking for. He took me straight to the shoes, helped me with figure out what was best for me & my size. I was in & out within minutes!!! Such great customer service!

Classic elegance. I have been shopping here for years, it is a gem in Logan. They carry higher end gear and clothing … It feels like Park City or Sun Valley or Jackson Hole when you walk inside…such a wonderful place here in Logan. They cater to a select group of locals and we really appreciate the fact that they are here.

What an awesome store! I came from Salt Lake City with the crossbars not installed. When I left my house in Pleasant View, I knew I would be cutting it close for time. I purchased a ski rack from here about a half hour before they closed. They helped me install everything! They were awesome to make sure everything was placed properly. We had some skis for measuring; they brought out a snowboard to make sure it would work as well. So helpful. Thank you all for the help! Much appreciated.

UPDATE. ***I just purchased an eBike from them. I’ve been looking for a long time. Mark & Holly run THE BEST bike shop- are so knowledgeable. I was matched to the perfect bike in about 20 min. Bike tuned, adjusted and out the door so quick. EVERYONE- There is no need to leave the valley for absolute top sports gear and top bikes. These guys attract people in from outside the region all the time for a reason. What an amazing find. Seriously one of my favorite stores in Utah.*** The Outdoorsman in Logan is the place to go if you're into outdoor stuff. They've got all the gear you need for just about any outdoor sport you can think of. The team there really knows their stuff, and they're super helpful. For me, the Outdoorsman in Logan is the first and last stop for outdoor gear. It's just a good, solid shop. Top, handpicked gear from top brands. Check it out.

Mark and the crew are exactly what a family owned business should be! Not only are they competitively priced, but they still care about service! What a great place. I had some issues with my ski boots I bought from them and was very impressed with how helpful they were and how they took care of it. Very knowledgeable and professional. I would highly recommend the Sportsman.

Outstanding! Took my mountain bike to The Sportsman for basic maintenance and got great service at a very fair price. Took the bike to another shop a while back and it just never seemed right. Jeff at Sportsman performed a very thorough service that solved my issues. This was my first time getting bike service at The Sporstman, and I won't hesitate to go back next time my bike needs work.

The Sportsman is an absolute treasure to Logan. My Raleigh bicycle was purchased there many years ago, this being my most favorite and rider friendly. Spiro was so much help! I so appreciate being able to purchase top quality shoes and clothing from this wonderful shop. The inventory is of top quality. On many occasion, I have fiund just what I was looking for. I took my bike in here for a tune up. Not only do they charge about half of what most other shops in the valley charge, they had my bike back to me in 2 days when 3 other shops I had called wouldn't even start working on it for 2 weeks. The bike came back perfect and at a very reasonable price. I will definitely be bringing my future business here. If you are looking at getting your bike worked on I recommend calling here first before spending twice as much somewhere else for the same quality of work.

The owner/manager of this store is so friendly & goes out of his way to be helpful, which I really appreciated. I was looking to purchase a OneWheel for my husband for Christmas and the owner gave me the Black Friday discount a few days early.

He helped me understand the different options I had with the different models and was patient with my questions.

It's a good looking store from the outside & the location couldn't be better. Everything about downtown logan is charming & this shop adds an extra bonus of charm with the quality outdoor clothing/items inside.

You can tell the products that they sell are all of the best quality. And I felt like I could trust the owner, which gave me an extra confidence to buy from this small business.

I recently had an excellent experience with The Sportsman.

I needed to rent a bike for a race, and they were very helpful in figuring out my needs and getting a bike reserved for me. The week before the race, they allowed me to come in and test out the bike, so that it wouldn't feel so new on race day. One of the bike shop workers was even kind enough to ride next to me around parking lot to help me figure out the gear system (I had never ridden a rode bike before!).

The rental price was very fair, and even included a helmet. Great customer service. Overall very positive experience with The Sportsman!

And my race went great!

Took some skis needing a mount to Al’s 5 days ago just to get a call from them saying they did not actually have the jig needed to mount my skis. After picking them back up, I took them to the guys at the Sportsman who were super nice and turned them around in under 24 hours. Much better service and smarter guys!

I love the Sportsman store! Each time I go in, I find something new that I have to have! From sportswear to casual dress, shoes to boots, there is something for my every occasion. The people working there are so happy and helpful.They make my shopping experience an absolute joy. The store is located in midtown with plenty of parking in the back.
Easy. A perfect word to describe the Sportsman. Easy to get to, easy to park, easy atmosphere, easy to find that perfect outfit.

I love the Sportsman!! One of the girls that works there is almost always there when I go in, and she is so helpful, nice, and friendly!! (She even remembered me and asked me how I'd been since the last time I was in!)
The employees are genuine and they give great insight and opinions when you're trying to decide between brands or products. Two thumbs up!

As always, The Sportsmen staff were the right mix of helpful and friendly. I like to shop here, not only for outdoor gear, but also for comfortable, classy clothes. This visit, I also found a warm pair of slippers for my 4 year old granddaughter.

Love this store! They always have exactly what I'm looking for. Bought my boyfriend used skis here a year ago for a GREAT deal and he still loves them! They also have some gorgeous jackets and yoga gear. Would recommend.
