Choate's Family Diner

I absolutely love this place. The staff were all friendly and made you feel very comfortable. The atmosphere is really nostalgic and the food was amazing. I ordered the BLT and it was one of the best I've ever had. The next time we had the super burger and the spicy chicken burger and both were amazing. The prices are very fair especially compared to a lot of places these days. I can't wait to return, I will recommend it to everybody. Thank you

The perfect little diner! Super simple, cute, cheap, and yummy! The server was very attentive and friendly. We wouldn’t have thought to stop here if we were just driving by, but glad we saw the good reviews and stopped. I had the breakfast burrito (it’s under the eggs in my photo) and my boyfriend and their specialty 3 meat hash browns. Very happy with our meals here!

This is what I love about diners. you won't get this kind of service atmosphere or people at any big box chain. If we ever find ourselves that way again we will be stopping, even if we're not hungry.

My family and I accidentally came across this restaurant for dinner. The server was super patient with my two kids. She offered a sample of the chili to make sure we liked it. Everything we got was delicious and it came out fast!!

I haven't been here since the redo and it was amazing!! I had the club and couldn't finish it. Our server was so wonderful and the atmosphere was great!!! If you was the diner vibe and you want a quick bite, great service and tasty food without fast food, this is the spot!!!

Traveling through and wanted a good breakfast. Cashier at the truck recommended Choate's and we're happy she did! Great food and friendly service.

I have been here twice and now both times the food has been so good. The prices are so affordable and I love the vintage atmosphere. The people are so nice and helpful too. Don't believe the rating because this place is great!

I've been going here since I was a little kid. This cozy little family owned restaurant is probably the best place to get comfort food in Jerome. It's been a while since I've been in but they upgraded their booths and it looks really nice! Breakfast here is probably my favorite but no matter what time of day the food is good.

This is a great diner and was a perfect place to stop for lunch on our road trip. I had the breaded chicken sandwich and it was great — piping hot with a soft, pillowy bun and fresh vegetables. The fries and fry sauce were great too! The service was quick and friendly and the restaurant was clean and welcoming.

My wife and I have been traveling for 3 days, touring thru Yellowstone on our way from Oregon, by way of Texas, and have to say this is the best food we have had on this 2,000 mile trip and the hospitality made us feel like we were home! Highly Recommend!

My wife and I were just out for a drive near Jerome and wanted to get lunch. I looked on another travel site for recommendations. I saw Choate's but it said they were closed.
We drove up and saw that it was open. Very cool 50's decor.
Good selection of food.
I got the best club sandwich I've ever had.
Reasonable prices. Good service. Good coffee.

Lovely little diner full of locals. Had the chicken fried steak sandwich, after being on the road for a few days the hot meal was appreciated and delicious. (People that complain in the reviews are really asking too much from a small town diner, and should try something up to yuppie speed.)
