Hotel Washington

Beautiful hotel. Staff tries to go above and beyond. They are very personable. Room was fun, well appointed and very comfortable. Particularly appreciate Mary taking the time to look up the name of an artist whose work was on display throughout the hotel at the time.

Stayed here for 5-nights whilst attending conference in National Harbour. It was totally worth the additional Uber fare to travel to and from the conference venue.

The building is gorgeous, staff friendly and polite and prices reasonable. This is definitely one of the better experiences for a conference.

The rooftop bar here was my favourite in town.

I’ll stay here next time I am in town.

I went on a girls trip to Washington DC for a friend’s Birthday, we stayed at The Washington Hotel and had an amazing experience. The hospitality provided by “Jamal”who greeted us at the front desk was unparalleled. Jamal went above and beyond to make our stay super fabulous!
The entire staff was professional and pleasant. From delightful surprises at check-in to impeccable service throughout our stay, they made every moment an enjoyable experience. The restaurants atmosphere and food was delicious. When I visit DC in the future, I will only stay at The Washington Hotel on 15th St. Five stars don't seem enough for such an exceptional experience. Thank you Jamal for making our stay a memorable one! Highly recommend!

Small but very nice rooms! Some of them have weird wallpaper (peeking eyes in the bathroom). Great location in the heart of DC and a short walk to the metro station. As expected, the pricing of the hotel restaurant is very questionable so I recommend you eat elsewhere unless you don't mind the price hike! Others say the rooftop bar is very nice although it looks mediocre to me.

We had a lovely stay. The hotel has a great ambiance. Clean, comfortable, nicely decorated rooms. The breakfast was delicious. Great location, close to all! Very friendly staff. A win. We will be back!

My stay at the Hotel Washington in Washington DC was exceptional. The elegant ambiance, attentive staff, and prime location made it a memorable experience. The rooms were comfortable and well-appointed, offering everything I needed for a pleasant stay. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the capital city.

I wish we could rate 10 stars on here. This was the BEST hotel I stayed in ever. Me and my boyfriend wanted to have a luxury getaway from home as we live in the area and it was JUST THAT. It was so peaceful. The staff is absolutely top tier ! They go above and beyond to make sure you have an amazing stay. I don’t think I had one complaint the breakfast was actually really good I would go back just for it. It was me and my boyfriend’s anniversary night and I called the staff over 20 times just to make sure everything was perfect I’m sure they were annoyed but they didn’t show it lol. They helped each time! I wish I got their names. I do plan to go again this weekend and Hopefully some of the same professional staff stayed around after all this time. It’s been about a year I think. Anyways This was a great getaway. Oh did I mention they even upgraded our room on arrival man I wanted to cry so hard because that was so nice of them ! They didn’t have to do that. I felt so lucky and special. Hopefully they do it again because THAT ROOM WAS TO DIE FOR. It was beautiful and spacious. Overall me and my boyfriend had an amazing time and didn’t want the weekend get away to end. Lol let me call them and book my next stay! WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?! You call them too!!!

This place is located next to the White House and a 10 minute drive to Capitol Hill. The room service food is excellent. The bartender in the first floor restaurant is excellent and the front desk staff. I will definitely be back.

Me and spouse we decided to stay in new year celebration in DC I love the location of this hotel but I don’t know that was the manager of this location but she was always judging every customer when they just walk in to the reception, she and her coworkers was judging a gay Hispanic guys, I don’t know if they forgot if they’re giving attention to the customers no making them feel bad or uncomfortable. This hotel need to pay attention of that. By the way the waitress it was saying they live tip, when she and the manager was just judging them

Next to the White House. Great place. The workers here are helpful. Well, it is so close to the white house, maybe you can hear some people snore next door.

I had a fantastic family vacation at this hotel. The kids enjoyed the pool, and the family-friendly atmosphere made our stay stress-free. The hotel's proximity to attractions and entertainment options was an added bonus. Highly recommended for families!

This is my 2nd of 3 nights. I love this hotel and the staff are extremely friendly. Shout out to Mary at the front desk who was so helpful today. She was amazing.

Heart of DC it was magical. They accommodated our dog Chief Wildflower, which earns them the 5 star. Service was mostly good, and the food was overpriced but tasty. We ordered the charcooteri and it was lacking. Rooftop bar had awesome views although be sure of what kind of margarita you purchase as there are wrong choices. And finally we wanted a bell hop but they didn’t show up when we were leaving, which was an inconvenience. We will likely be back!

When registered was not given the best room with 0 views. But later that night was switched rooms by Irada @ the Front Desk..she was the best! HW is still one of the best hotels in DC.

Hotel washington is.... walking distance of our downtown location. Enjoy free-wi-fi, hot breakfast, and sweeping views of the surrounding downtown DC area. Wifi.

I love this hotel’s rooftop and VUE.
You can see the White House from here. The food is just continental and general, but that’s about it.

Rarely do you go to a place that exceeds
All expectations but this hotel has. Super clean and Mary made our stay special. Highly recommended for your stay in DC, you will not disappointed and will continue to use it for your future travel needs to DC.

The hotel is centrally located and close to the White House and all museums. Also restaurants and Starbucks is nearby.

The beauty and the cleanliness is far superior for most hotels and the superior customer service will have you feeling like the King/Queen you’re.

This is my ALL TIME FAVORITE hotel in D.C. and I travel there often. The staff is simply exceptional in every way. We just attended an event at the White House, and Ermilita at the front desk could not have been more kind, professional and accommodating. She made our stay beyond memorable. I truly hope that Ermilita can get recognized in some way by the hotel for her incredible commitment to customer service. I cannot wait to return!!!!

Hotel Washington was our home for almost 2 weeks while vacationing in DC. We loved every minute of it!

Location was very ideal and not too far from a lot of things on our vacation itinerary.

Love how the rooms are so modern (given the age of the hotel itself!)
The marble shower was amazing!
The beds were super comfortable!

We had a great view of the street from our room and saw a couple motorcades go by which was fascinating to watch.

We were treated extremely well by all the hotel staff. We really did feel like VIPs although we are from humble Arkansas!

Our check in early in the day was awesome after an early flight coming in.
The noon checkout was awesome since we had an evening flight heading out.

We will definitely stay here again when we are in DC on another vacation!

This is a very nice place to stay. The employees all of them are awesome, friendly, eager to assist. My wife and I felt like important people here. I would give more stars if I could. We plan on staying here again on our vacation. Location is perfect for site seeing and shopping. Job well done to who ever is responsible and thank you for such kind service.
