I've always wanted to eat here. It's a little hidden gem in a plaza. I met up with coworkers after dinner here & enjoyed the meal. My portion sizes could have been larger but I did get there close to closing time. Loved the Carne Adovada dish I got. I'm definitely coming back.

Very comfortable environment, friendly staff, food was great, nice menu selection to choose from, easy access and plenty of parking. I had the green chile chicken enchiladas plate, so yummy.

There is a special place on my heart for unassuming family-run places that consistantly turn our great tasting comfort food. This wonderful example of such a place is easy to miss tucked away in a strip mall off the main road and behind a Big Lots store. I would say that, like myself, others who live in the area but don't work in Farmington and have a chance to get away form the office for lunch may never have stopped in. I'm glad I remedied that today. The carne adovada I was served was exceptional and the waitress told me it was "Dad's speciality."

We had a very large party of people 67 of us. Very helpful staff and a great team of servers! Thank you !!

My husband was doing a delivery at big lots so we decided to get something to eat . We placed our order and the owner brought us our food saying thank you for everything you guys do , the food is on me ❤ thank you very much to the owner, food was delicious definitely recommend..!

Every time I pass through here I have to eat. It's amazing food. Closest thing to my own cooking I have ever found. Double 👍 . I highly recommend this place. Time and time again. I wish I could move here just for this food.. So good. 😋

Lunch was amazing. Simple decor inside, no frills, and the food was like a homemade meal. Enchalada sauce is made with green chilies (New Mexico after all) and a mushroom reduction that added a robust savory flavor to the meal. Chicken was fresh, moist and also flavored with peppers, good rice and decent beans. I asked for hot sauce and was notified of a special in-house Verde salsa to try instead. It was so delicious and unlike any salsa I had before that I left with two jars of the stuff to take home for friends and family to try. Take all my money Los Rios Cafe, I'll happily hand it over in exchange for a poncho belly!

Was visiting Farmington and I was suggested this place for lunch. The service was great and the food was amazing!

I've been coming here on and off for decades because, we'll, it's awesome and everything that a soulless chain restaurant isn't. Yes, sometimes when I pull into the parking lot, I'm pissed because there's a hand written sign that says they're closed due to a family this-and-that, but really (once I get over myself) this is awesome and what I want most businesses to be like! The owner has come out and calmed crying babies in our party before! How cool is that. And the food is awesome. The red Chile sauce and sopapillas are my favorite anywhere. Thanks, Gabe, for keeping it real and keeping it going so long. You rock!

I absolutely love the place in a town with great New Mexican food this place holds its own and some. The place is friendly fast and far far above average I made another review saying I would give 6 stars and they definitely earn that as well. Order the Roadrunner x-mas style and be prepared to fill up your glass it comes with heat and flavor and a lot of love. This place does an amazing job on every level!

This is a very good place to come and have excellent Mexican food. The atmosphere is great, the service is great. I have been coming here since the first week they opened.
