It was an absolute game changer! Ohseas is an absolute artist and it shows. It’s been a hot minute since I’ve been so in love with how I look and it’s all thanks to Ohseas. My hair got a complete make over and not only does my hair look healthier and brighter but my whole self esteem is just through the roof! Moving forward I wouldn’t trust anyone else.

I had a wonderful highlight experience, specifically with Gerardo or "G"! The salon is very modern, spacious and nice. I was met on time with G and he was incredibly friendly, helpful and professional. My resulted highlight look was just what I wanted too! Subtle sunkissed highlights. I felt like G did a great job of taking care of me and recommending what would look good.

Jasmine did a fantastic job on my highlights! My hair is healthy and shiny. Jasmine really listened to everything I said and I love my hair! Will definitely be going back!

Harold at Bang Salon Gallery Place has been doing a great job with my highlights since I came to him about a year ago, having never dyed my hair. He listens to and incorporates my feedback if I want to make any subtle changes in brightness/color and has given me wonderful advice for maintenance and color options. Oscar Orellana did the BEST job! I got exactly what I wanted and he knew exactly what to do right away. He was so so kind. I had build up in my hair from not washing it properly and he kindly taught me how to wash it which no one has ever told me before. He also toned my hair without extra charge. I am running to him next time I need anything done!

Harold is my go-to guy for hair color and cutting. I achieved my goals exactly. He is an extremely competent man. He is skilled at what he does.

I’ve lived in DC since June of this year, and after having the same stylist for almost four years back in Florida, I was very apprehensive about picking a salon or stylist.
After many Instagram searches, I settled on Bang Salon at Gallery Place. It was close to my apartment, and based on their website and social media accounts, seemed to be the type of Salon I was looking for.
I stalked their stylist page and chose to book an appointment with Evelyn. In hindsight, I should have booked a consultation first, as I was looking for a full bayalage and shaggy, textured short bob requiring about 4 inches of overgrowth to be chopped.
When I say that I have never been more impressed by a stylists’ kindness and patience when transforming my hair, I mean it with my whole heart. She is amazing.
My hair is insanely fine and thick and annoying, and she handled my requests like a true professional. Even after my minor freak out, thinking the cut was too short; it’s absolutely not, I just haven’t seen it at this length in over a year. I love it. And as for the full bayalage application, she gets a chefs’ kiss on that, too.
I’ve already booked my second appointment and would recommend her and this salon to anyone.

Oscar at Gallery Place is absolutely incredible and extremely talented. As someone with thick, dark, long hair, I trust few people to lighten it to perfect. He's extremely responsive and professional. I've gone to Oscar for years and have only ever left happy!

I went here randomly after only getting 2 haircuts in the past 4 years. I literally had no plan and just wanted to get cut short. There is a guy named Lucas who did my hair; and it was probably the best haircut I can remember getting, and I can’t recommend him enough!

Yolonda was absolutely amazing - she was quick, efficient, knew exactly what I wanted and in all honesty this is the happiest I've been walking out of a salon in a really long time. I'm excited to come back in a few months for some highlights and a cut! I'll be recommending Yolonda to all of my friends moving forward!

Really solid place for men's cuts. Ask for Dennis if you can. Does a really clean skin fade and cleaned my beard up nicely. Price is super reasonable, especially considering the location.

I've been seeing Harold for precision mens haircuts for about 6 years, and I am consistently satisfied by his expertise, speed, and positive energy. The overall experience at this location is great, too. The location is clean and comfortable and the staff are friendly. If you are looking for a reliable place to get your haircut where the people make you feel good, you gotta go to Bang.

I've been going to Bang for a few years, and the stylists and atmosphere have always been excellent. My stylist, Harold, routinely gives me the best haircuts I've ever had in my life. When I decided to get color for the first time, he walked me through everything I needed to know and the result... I think I'm addicted to coloring my hair now 😅

I love Jessica! She is the best. So relaxed and conversational, and every time I try something new I feel so good about it. She knows my taste and preferences and designs something that fits me. The time flies by as we catch up and chat about whatever. What more could a client ask for?
