JW Marriott Washington, DC

I stayed at the JW for Memorial Weekend. From the moment I entered the hotel, the staff were super friendly and professional. My room had an amazing view facing Pennsylvania Avenue. The room was clean and smelled good, considering the hotel's age. Kudos to the valet team - when I checked out on Monday, they were extremely busy but very professional and friendly.

This was a very nice hotel. I enjoyed the sauna in the fitness center. The view from the executive lounge was wonderful and breakfast and dinner was great. I do wish they had a water fill up station instead of tiny plastic water bottles. It just felt very wasteful

This hotel is one of the best I've stayed in. It's conveniently located near everything. The breakfast is excellent, and you can watch the cook prepare it right before you. I will stay there again. I highly recommend this hotel to family and friends.

This location is perfect for walking around DC. It's very close to a lot of museums. And it's within walking distance to the Washington monument as well, along with the War mormorials as well ❗ The rooms however are quite small with large suitcases. But we made it work. The restaurants within the hotel we're delicious and offered some nice dishes that we're delicious! I loved the gourmet burger 🍔 and fries 🍟 were very nice! They didn't honor our reservations with one king size bed. But for our trip it was all about a great location! The bed's we had we're full size, not even queens. But again location was important for us!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the JW Marriott Washington, DC and it was an exceptional experience. The JW Marriott in Washington, DC, truly impressed me with its opulent ambiance and top-notch services. The rooms are elegantly furnished, creating a luxurious experience. The dining options are exquisite, adding to the overall premium feel. While the central location worked well for my needs, I can see how some guests might prefer a more secluded setting. Personal preferences play a significant role in shaping your overall impression of the hotel. Highly recommend considering your individual tastes and priorities.

The best hotel for sightseeing. Everything within walking distance. Beautiful staff. The most courteous people that I've ever met. Special mention Alisha at the front desk. And really everyone in the hotel from the concierge to the people in the restaurants and room service. I should have taken all the names but please thank them all from me.

The hotel staff was nice and very attentive. The hotel is located within walking distance of museums, the White House, and other attractions. I plan to stay at the JW Marriott again.

The JW is a very nice place to stay and is located near the White House, the Smithsonian Museums, the Lincoln Memorial, and other important places. Depending on what side of the hotel you stay on, you have a great view of the Washington Monument. The rooms and service are second to none here.

What a great location! We came for Veteran’s Day weekend and was able to visit all the memorials we planned for and more! If you’re physically able, walking to/from Arlington Cemetery was not bad, especially with having so many memorials to check out along the way.
Mobile check-in was efficient & he even made sure to find us a room that was available since we checked in 2hrs earlier.
We didn’t do room service, but we did enjoy a few cocktails and fries downstairs.
There’s a lot of food options within walking distance, to include a CVS which was within a 5 min walk.
Overall, very pleased and will definitely plan future stays here at this hotel 👌🏼

My stay at JW Marriott Washington, DC was an absolute delight! Located on Pennsylvania Avenue, mere steps away from the White House, this hotel is an unbeatable location for exploring the nation's capital.

The convenience of being within walking distance to landmarks like the Washington Monument, the National Museum of American History, Ford's Theatre, and the Navy Memorial made sightseeing an effortless joy. Also, the vistas of the monuments from the hotel were breathtaking.

I was thoroughly impressed by the immaculate condition of the hotel. The staff's warmth and friendliness added an extra layer of comfort to my stay, making me feel welcomed.

As I was visiting the week before Christmas, the hotel was adorned with stunning decorations, immersing me in a festive atmosphere that enhanced the Christmas spirit.

Overall, JW Marriott Washington, DC exceeded my expectations. From its prime location to the welcoming staff, pristine accommodations, and the enchanting Christmas decorations, this stay was nothing short of exceptional. I can't wait to return to Washington and stay at this hotel again!

Great location near the White House and Mall. There is a destination fee. It comes with funds toward breakfast and tickets for a twighlight bus tour. Request early if interested, they will sell out.

Had an issue with the sink drain in the first room and called the front desk, they sent the engineer up promptly and he was great. He was extremely accommodating and got us a new room right away (and was an upgraded room) since he needed time to fix the sink. He offered to help us move our luggage as well. Overall the hotel staff is excellent and I 100% recommend to anyone coming to D.C.

Stayed at the JW Marriott for the 75th Washington, DC Mardi Gras! Amazing property with great customer service. Although not the host hotel, it was strategically located and not far from many major land marks in DC. Highly recommended.

Thank you so much for such a pleasant stay! We didn't have any issues, and were able to get to all locations very easily. In one of the days in our stay it was raining, and they provided us with free umbrellas for the whole family to walk around the city.

Easy access to all things DC. We appreciated the front desk staff's friendliness and extraordinary efforts in finding us a room. We experienced travel challenges, so this was a kind and welcome surprise. Our room has a wonderful view of the Monument. Happy Anniversary to us!

I stayed here a few years back and it was in a perfect location. My only issue was that the room was a little small, even for just two people.
