Great people to talk with! I like their selection and really prefer here over the major stores. I will be returning for any time we need a supply store like this one!

Bought some chicks to add to our own hatch and bought starter at the same time.

Turns out the starter we bought was molded and we ended up losing 7 of the 20 we bought and 3 of our own.

They refunded the bag and gave us the ten chicks we said we lost.

Love this place.

Love the fact that its a small town store that still treats you like a small town customer. They give great advice and great pricing.

This is by far the best spot for dog food. Also a great selection of equine and tack accessories. Not the standard feed store, as it sets the bar. They will take back your Victor dog food that has a salmonella recall. You must bring the food for a refund.

The best place to go if you look at the kid anything for your animals they got it all kind very polite people and very good prices on their stuff

They are able to order specialty items for my parros really like this place. Always friendly amd nice

Nice place has alot for all animals. They have chick's during the right time of year. Outdoor furniture and needs for animals. They have fence material and drainage pipe.

The store is very clean, and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The animals in the store are always well maintained and look healthy. We go regularly.

We have 15 horses on nothing but Purina Feed and Beth , Steve , Elizabeth and Rene’e are the folks that keep me coming back !

The staff at Steinhauser's have really stepped up and helped a ton of people during this winter storm hitting the area. Despite most everywhere else being closed they have been open and refilling propane for people who would be without heat without it. Despite the cold wind the manager was out himself refilling every tank he could, and despite almost running out he made arrangements to have the supplier come and refill the tank near closing time so he could be sure everyone waiting for propane would get their propane. My wife and I would be without heat tonight in our camper if it wasn't for him and his staff.

I buy my cattle feed here and I absolutely love this place! The employees are extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and kind. Great selection, clean store, and wonderful customer service. I have to drive 30mins because they carry more options for cattle feed than any other store near me but it's worth it.

I love this place ,I just moved to Alvin been here four years and this place has been a wonderful experience,and the ppl are friendly and respectful,I love the country atmosphere there and the animals are so healthy 🤠❤

What a great place! Hardware, feed, yard and farm needs. Outdoor furniture and decor is really well built. If you need chickens, ducks, pheasants, they are also available. The staff is friendly and helpful!

Very knowledgeable staff, everyone was very nice and helped me out in a timely manner and gave me good info.

Had a great experience with several of the employees this time. Went in to pick a couple things up and also to ask them to support a local seminar hosting with the extension office. They were very supportive in fact they may actually be one of the presenters next year. Really good and very supportive of the community
Update: This time didn't have a good experience. I have a pesticide license and have purchased restricted chemicals here before but they've always had problems with their computer system. Even though I can prove I'm legal to buy it takes forever and this time they weren't even able to sell it to me cuz somebody at the main office somewhere couldn't check a box. Really frustrated of wasting the time to go there and then the time while I was there for a sorry can't do it. I don't see how business that's been doing it as long as they have can't get it to where their computers work better. Hopefully they'll get the record straight soon.

These folks were so nice! I'm a first time chicken owner. They helped me pick out the right chickens, the right food, and the other things needed for the brood. First class service!

Good selection, the feed is fresh, decent pricing and best of all, they have have plenty of friendly folks to help.

Another feed store we had to wait 45 minutes for the one guy who could load our feed because he overslept (noon on Sunday), which was a pain because we were trying to leave town. Never happens at Steinhausers, we went there & they had 4 guys waiting to load us up.
