Still great food, excellent service, old cafe/diner vibe. Hadn't been here in 10 years. The omelet was stuffed with crispy bacon. The biscuit was light and fluffy. Hash browns were perfect. The cinnamon roll was huge, warm and delicious.

The food here is great! But what they are known for is there pies! You can choose from the following: apple, no sugar-added apple, cherry, peach, pecan, fudge, chocolate cream, chocolate meringue, German chocolate cream, peanut butter cream… They even have milk shakes where you can choose from 16 oz. of chocolate, strawberry, vanilla, or make it a malt.

I brought my kids and nephew here to eat after we worked up an appetite from visiting the Longhorn Caverns Texas State park down the roadway.

I ordered the 8oz country fried steak with mashed potatoes, salad, and Italian green beans. All of my food was delicious. However, my country fired steak was a pain to cut and I had to chew for it a while before I swallowed it down. I felt like if I didn’t I was going to choke.

My daughter ordered the Mexican dinner. She ate her entire plate.

My son ordered the chicken tender adult meal and ate how entire plate.

Finally my nephew ordered just a cheeseburger with chips.

Parking is like going through a maze, but plenty of parking to choose from and spacious for larger vehicles.

Their milkshakes are really delicious. I didn’t get to order my pie because they were out of the chocolate cream pie.

I have been before with my family for breakfast in the past. They serve breakfast all day! Their breakfast is really good.

Their service is phenomenal and they are up to date with 21st century technology by using TOAST. You can pay by cash or just tap your Apple or Google pay via your phone, watch, or credit/debit card.

The entry way of this place is narrow, they do have an exit by the gift shop counter. I recommend taking that exit when it is super busy here.

I highly recommend trying this place out. Just make sure you come super hungry. Otherwise, you will not be able to eat all of your food.

The hubbs and I were in town near by visiting family and they suggested we have breakfast here. Being a city girl I was not used to the hill roads but the food made the trip worth it!! There was a little line when we arrived but wait time was not long at all. Our server was great, even told us a few jokes and had us on our toes. Had to try a slice of banana pie and it was super delicious. I wish they could ship to where I live, I'd be ordering pies all of the time. Idk what it was about the crust that just was so good. Can't wait to make that long drive again!!

Excellent Texas country fare in a classic diner vibe! Super friendly and helpful staff, and some great pie and milkshakes! Definitely a must stop! Fantastic place to eat after you learn there is no waterfall in this town!

This had that small town dinner feel. The breakfast was very good, I had an omelette with sausage/bacon/and ham and it was stuffed with meat, no shortage here! It came with hashbrowns and 2 biscuits and I ordered a cup of gravey that was very good, but the biscuits alone were soft and delicious. Not only were the servers friendly but so were the other customers that were dinning. My son and I had a great experience all around. I guess we got there at the right time because when we left, there was a line out the door.

If you have a bucket list, visiting this place needs to be on it. I've been eating here for years, and for years the food and service has been fabulous. On this visit it was Sunday on Labor Day weekend and there was a line out the door to get in. There is a good reason for this, this is a great place to eat and well worth the wait. When we arrived, there were seven people waiting outside. They work at getting you seated, we were seated in 15 minutes. The breakfast, lunch and pies are very good. Service is always fast and friendly. The daily lunch specials are very popular.

We went on a Saturday at 3 pm. There wasn't a wait at the door, and there usually is! The service was great, the food came out quick and hot! I had the Western omelet, hashbrowns, and biscuits, and she offered gravy for free! We also had a burger and smothered patty with onions at the table. Everyone loved their food. The pies are huge! We didn't get one because we were way too full, but probably will next time. We'll definitely visit The Blu Bonnet Café again!

OMG! The food is amazing. When we pulled in the line was out the door, but it went fast. The service was great. Our waitress was very friendly and everything came out in a timely manner. We came for breakfast and everything was cooked to perfection. Other people around us had ordered off the lunch menu and I wish I could have gone back for dinner because their food looked delicious as well. We just stumbled upon this place as we were going through Marble Falls and I am so glad we did. Also THE PIE’s. We were so full after we ate so my husband and I both bought a piece of chocolate to go and I wish we would have just bought a whole pie, again amazing! If you are looking for a place to eat, I highly recommend this place.

Quintessential central Texas Cafe!
My gosh, what a great experience we had here.
We were a large party of 9 but were seated right away. Alicia was wonderful, friendly, and brutally efficient. Never was a question left unanswered or a coffee cup left more than half empty.
The portions were precisely the right size, and everything was served just as it was ordered, no mistakes or missed details.
Western omelet with grits, French toast, the two eggs breakfast with ham and crispy hash browns, and simple biscuits and gravy were all out of this world.

If you are looking for a great place to eat, that has great food and great prices, AND has that welcoming, local feel - this is it. I’ve been here on some vacations and have had the same exceptional experience each time. There is always a line out the door, but the staff is super efficient and the line moves quickly enough. It’s not a fancy place, it has more of a diner feel than a cafe. The food is traditional American, Southern comfort food and breakfast is served all day. I can’t even explain how amazing the pies are! There is an incredible selection you can buy by the slice or as a whole pie (do it, trust me). As an introvert, I don’t normally like busy places, but there is enough space to not feel crowded and still has a community vibe. Their hall at the entrance can be a little tight, however. The think that stands out to me the most about the Blue Bonnet Cafe is the staff - they are so friendly and fast. Everyone seems truly happy to be working there and it shows in how well they treat the customers. You would think with such a busy place you wouldn’t get such consistently great service, but the staff makes you feel like you’re a valued regular customer. I’m sorry this review is long, but rarely have I encountered and business this awesome. It’s definitely a must-go place when I’m near Marble Falls.

I have a hard time eating out because my wife is an amazing cook, so was my mother, and then theres me lol… I often disappointed with alot of places I go too but the Blue Bonnet Cafe is not on that list. You should go here.

Very impressed with the waiting staff, they paid enough attention, we told them it was our first time and she rattled off the menu and gave us plenty of time to decide.

Chips and Salsa had a nice zing to it. Satisfying.
My daughter had a BLT which she enjoyed. My 8 yr old scared a piece of his chicken tenders and fries with us which was excellent. My wife said her
Hamburger was spot on. The chicken fried steaks were the way they should be and smothered in gravy. Mashed potatoes were excellent, pinto beans had a good flavor. The only thing that was so so were the green beans but lets be honest… they’re green beans 😆 Apple pie with ice cream was good and the coconut cream pie was delicious as well.

It was a very nice lunch for our family outting.

Exactly what you'd expect from a local established restaurant. Large portions of comfort food. Alot of variety on the menu. Of course Pie. My family really enjoyed the meal. Good service and value.

Always have great service every time we go in. Ask for Autumn! She is an amazing waitress! They always cook my over medium eggs perfectly, and everything we get is always delicious. Kids love the hrilled cheeses..The only feedback I would give is that most of the tables are too small and it's very crowded.... but I understand they are limited on space and always busy so I kept the 5 stars. Lastly, although very tasty, I wish they would make small silver dollar pancakes for the kids menu.

I was recommended this place by multiple people, and it did not disappoint! There was a bit of a wait, but it moved quickly. Staff were friendly, and the food was excellent. Definitely recommend it, and I will definitely visit again when I am in the area next!

This place!! Blue Bonnet Cafe serves it up like it’s your last day on earth. Soooo Goood and the service is excellent! We had breakfast, the pancakes were soft and melted in your mouth. It’s worth the drive if you don’t live in Marble Falls, it’s a slice of heaven!

Every visit results in a great meal. I always feel welcomed here too. I don't get here much, but when I do, it's always a good experience. I have had most everything on the menu and its all good. But what I never miss out on is their pies. I had their coconut pie on my last couple of visits and it was the best. I plan to try them all.

I typically don’t review restaurants when they don’t have issues, meaning when they are fantastic within their realms of service; however, Bluebonnet blew me away! Not only is the service dynamite, their food is the best of the best if you want hearty homey food away from home! The catfish was delicious, fresh and crispy, and the batter seasoning was on point! The green beans were delicious and just needed a little salt. The buttered spinach was top notch, delicious. No salt needed! The fries were good. The ribs were good. The fried steak was okay because I’m never a fan of fried steak, but as I mentioned, their batter is tasty, well seasoned, so if you like fried steak, you’ll love this one! Their fries and corn were very good, too. You can even buy a vegetable plate that includes four sides for just 7.99. And every dish has three sides not two like other places!! Also, if you’re ever there when they have taco soup, choose it, it’s so good! You can even get the soup cup as a side, and it’s worth it. Their okra was not the best I’ve tried and just a tad bit dry, but they were still edible. Their pies were also delicious. Their service was great, but just be ready to wait in line to sit. That place is full with reason. I completely recommend this place without a reservation. You will love it, even the coffee. ☕ ❤

or a diner, it simply doesn't get any better! We recently moved to the area and this shows up all the time when searching for places to eat. We've heard about it from people we have met so it was time to give it a try. The short of the review is if you are in the area or plan to make up trip to Marble Falls, you MUST come here!

It's rather big and there's plenty of parking. We've been here a few times and it's either not very busy or it's almost completely full. But regardless, you'll always get great service.

Walking in, you'll catch a glimpse of what others are eating and if you don't already know what you want, prepare to be overwhelmed. As we walked to our booth, I saw three or four dishes I wanted to order just look at what other people were eating. But for our first visit, I had a club sandwich and in my opinion, it's hard to find a "great" club sandwich but fortunately for me... I've found the best one! It might seem simple to make a club sandwich but honestly, to many places try to make it with some different kind of bread, use weird spread, etc... but here, they make it simple and traditional. The best! I had it with fries and they are crunchy, hot and fresh.

The next time we came, I had the Chicken Fried Steak. I saw someone else have this and I just had to try. It looked absolutely amazing when I saw someone else eating this and it really IS amazing! They use a white gravy (my favorite) and I honestly don't think I have had better chicken fried steak. For the sides, I had the red potatoes with gravy, fries and a mini corn on the cob. It also came with corn bread muffins.

On our first visit, we had the banana cream pie and it was spectacular! So, the second time we ordered a whole pie! It you want fresh, wholesome food... look no further! The food is delicious, the servers are super nice and you won't have to wait very long. And don't leave without trying a slice of pie!

This place is definitely a must try! It's a locally owned family restaurant and their food tastes just like homemade and their servings are more than enough. Famous for their pies but unfortunately I couldn't find room for them.
