Everything was great. The flavor, the taste, the service and the price. Will definitely be coming back.

My husband and I went on New Year's. We waited a while after putting in our drink orders before we were finally able to put in our food order. In the waitresses defense I heard her tell another customer that the other workers called in so she was the only waitress that day. She was very friendly and handled being alone to handle all the customers on her own amazingly. When I saw the food come out I thought it looked good but wasn't sure it would taste good. I was totally wrong, the food was delicious and I absolutely loved the chips and salsa. We will definitely go back. And that says a lot because we have tried several restaurants since moving to the area and have had nothing but bad service and horrible experiences.

Awesome food! Everything has great flavor. I love a good taqueria and this is very good one. They have the best pastor tacos I've had, and I had more than my share from all over the state. Zero pretense but excellent food and good service.

Since iv moved back iv had this place in my ❤. They have my favorite dish on the menu and it is as good as it was when I used to live in Palacios tx. The restaurant there was just amazing and til I came here I hadn't seen or heard of it again til HIBANEROS... I THANK THEM FOR EVERYTHING... MY FAVORITE WAITRESS MOVED ON , BUT SHE WOULD JUST NO MY VOICE ON PHONE AND AUTOMATICALLY NEW EXACTLY WHAT WAS GOING TO B ORDERED. I DIDNT HAVE TO SAY NOTHING AFTER A GOOD 2 / 3 MONTHS AND ID CALL SAY MY NAME AND ID WALK IN .. MY TABLE ,DRINKS, CHIPS & FOOD WOULD B READY FREASH AND HOT. I MISS HER BUT , YESTERDAY MY WAITRESS WAS ON TOP OF IT AS WELL. SHE WAS CONSISTENT, SHE GO GET BUSY AND COME BACK. I LUV THAT IN A WAITRESS THATS WHAT WAITRESSES ARE TO DO WITHOUT ADDITUDE. IV NEVER I COUNTERED A SINGLE ADDITUDE. SO FOR THAT I GIVE THEM HIGH PROPS! KEEP UP THE WORK LADIES AND GENTS... LUV ALL OF U GUYS

We were driving through, meeting my mom for a halfway kid swap..and might I add it was 10 of us and they took us in no problem! This Mexican food was absolutely perfect, reminded me of my grandmothers. I am not typically the person that orders something different..but I saw them bring out a plate to someone else and knew I wanted that! The gordita plate. I thought there was no way I could finish it..but it was sooo good I wanted to! Great, friendly service. I tried not to have the kids running around as best as I could, but they were still kind the few times they did. They had a candy/toy machine so that kept the kids entertained..but bring your quarters! Lol. Overall family feel and great food. I just wish they had a margarita! Beer only. We will return for further family meets!

Honestly, we didn't get to eat here BUT, the staff was really professional. We ordered online, 5 minutes later we get a phone call and we're REQUIRED to be in Victoria immediately. So we called and explained the situation, Staff was understanding and refunded before food was cooked. We look forward to dining in the future! Thank you guys.

Food was excellent and authentic! It was quite comfortable and It kind of felt like eating at a friend's house. We really enjoyed our meal here.

My 2 years old baby eat all his breakfast. We ate all our meals. Was very delicious. Good and nice service. Pretty nice for stopping between Houston and Corpus Cristi

Food was excellent. The waitress was very friendly. Prices were agreeable except for the $.50 to go container. Yes, I know that.$.50 is nothing but, when it is added WITHOUT warning or notice is. Had we been forewarned about the charge it would have been no problem. $.50 per container adds up.

Opens early... been by at 545 before work every morning for a bacon and egg and a sausage and egg tacos... always greeted and got my tacos made fresh. You can call ahead for pick up... the tortillas are good and so is the salsa... never been for lunch hours but should be as good as their breakfast

This was my first time eating at this restaurant and I ordered takeout. When I called to place my order the staff answered the phone in a timely and I wasn't placed on hold. The person taking my order did it professionally and thoroughly. I ordered the #40- Tampiquena Plate (one cheese enchilada, beef fajitas, one crispy taco, rice, and beans), chips and salsa, and their sopapillas for dessert. My order was ready at the promised time and hot. The staff was attentive to their drive-thru and I didn't have to wait for someone to appear at the window. The portions were more than generous and could easily be split into two smaller meals. The sopapillas were by far my favorite. The food was decently priced (approximately $20 total) for the amount of food that I received. This restaurant has something on the menu for everyone and is worth a try.

My husband suggested we try this place because of the ratings. So happy we did. We called 30 min before they closed to check if it was okay to still go in and the owner/cook answered and welcomed us to come right on over. We were greeted by the sweetest server ever and they did not rush us at all. The food was yummy. Gorditas are HUGE and the molcajete with fajita, chicken and shrimp was amazing.

Best beef fajitas I've ever had, hands down! The owner's secret marinade is AMAZING!
