Really good selection (especially liquor), packed into a small space. If you arrive when the door is locked, just ring the doorbell and be a little patient as the owner comes around to let you in. For your first visit, I'd recommend budgeting some extra time to look through what's available to familiarize yourself with the stock. We will definitely be back!

Great neighborhood shop! Surprisingly large selection of alcohol and some convenience items too such as toilet paper, snacks, deodorant, soap etc. The owner Bobby is great and has hired some great employees over the last 4 or 5 years I've been coming here, all very helpful and friendly. Prices are about average for convenience stores and alcohol seems between average to slightly below average, as there's often some nice discounts going on. Highly recommended you check Sunset out if you're in the area 👍🏻

During our staying in DC, these guys provided me of cold coca cola almost every day, the best the best liquor store in town, they have amazing bourbon options, also the attention is good, let you feel so good. i think that i miss DC only for those guys. They are THE BEST

First visit there and I was impressed. The customer service is great and the selection is broad as well. Got to meet Bobby who everyone kept saying hi to. Got some great deals on what I went to purchase. Recommend highly and will be back!

The employees are the best part of this store. Really top notch dudes. The selection is small but has something for everyone, and the closeout wine section has some amazing options. Definitely the best choice in Truxton.
