Cosina Mexicana

Staying at the Holiday Inn and I walked here the first time and got the Tuesday Special which was $5 for 5 chicken tacos. (Initially it was Beef Barbacoa tacos but they ran out so they switched to chicken). Flavor wise they were really good, came with onion and cilantro. Portion wise they were REALLY small. Second time I went for an actual plate since the tacos didn’t really fill me up the last time and I got the Spicy Beef Barbacoa Enchiladas. I have never tried this but I’m glad I did, the heat level on them was really high so don’t order them if you don’t handle spicy food well. But to people that NEED heat to be able to enjoy a meal this was truly a masterpiece and I would be back yet again.

Cosina Mexicana is the best taqueria my wife and I have found here in Jacksonville. It has the same feel as the taquerias we frequented in Houston. Very authentic. We enjoyed and shared a torta and two types of tacos on delicious corn tortillas along with chips and salsa. With drinks, food, and a nice tip we only spent about 40 bucks.

Absolutely wonderful authentic Mexican food, great staff and service very friendly, but atmosphere was like being in Mexico. Absolutely loved it would definitely recommend !!!!!! 😁👍🎉

Good, authentic mexican food. However, if you're going to run out of sweet tea, offer the customer a different beverage at the same cost, it's not their fault you ran out of a popular drink. If you're going to have a sign that says no free refills, maybe the beverage shouldn't be filled to the brim with ice. That day's special ? Yeah, we ran out, so....maybe they're not aware there are many choices around and we chose them, drove from Tyler and not sure when we'll be back.

The Gorditas al Pastor is the most delicious, authentic Mexican dish i have EVER had. It's soo yummy, it could literally pull you out of depression

The best tacos in Jacksonville!! The green and red sauce are the best I’ve had. I usually like green but their red sauce is amazing!! The salsa is also the best. The meat is seasoned good. Definitely worth it!! Big tacos, not expensive AND the customer service is top tier.

It was a great surprise to find an authentic Mexican food restaurant in this area. I tried the sopes, tortas and tacos. Everything was good. I had lunch and dinner that same day, that good!!!

Excellent authentic Mexican food. They know what they are doing here and how to do it. Nice atmosphere too with a friendly, helpful staff. We are definitely going back.
