El Lagunero Restaurant

This is one of our favorite places in town to eat. The food is always consistently good, pricing is appropriate, the restaurant is clean, and service is typically five star. If you are looking for vegetarian options, you can order dishes with beans in place of meat and they do an awesome job.

I would recommend the huarache plate with barbacoa and some limes on the side and both of the house sauces. It is difficult to find more authentic Mexican food as opposed to Tex-Mex, so I'm glad El Lagunero came to town!

We had some issues with service in the past where we were not noticed. I think this is due to the "seat yourself" policy and it was busy. Usually, there is someone at the cashier's station to the right (back) who will greet you. Other than that, our waitresses have always been very good.

This place was so good. The food. The service. The drinks. The chips and salsa. 10 stars! The bathroom was super clean and I loved the atmosphere of the restaurant.

Im pretty basic on Mexican, but if beans, rice, tortillas & salsas are right, the rest falls in place typically. Great atmosphere & nice waitress. I’ll be back🥂

Absolutely the best Mexican food in town. SUPER CLEAN. Super friendly. In 55 years of eating Mexican and Tex-Mex food, I can assure you, you've never tasted better refried beans or rice. I don't know what magic they do, but what is normally just a plate filler, is vaulted to the top of the highlight list. Absolutely my favorite place in town.

My wife and I love this place. The Chicken Taco Salad is huge.....
and the fajita chicken they put on it is to die for. The best I have had anywhere in the country. In today's economy and the most expensive dinner is $12 bucks, how can you loose???

The refried beans and rice are a meal in itself, their the best and we're not the only ones who think so, read some of the other reviews. We're going tomorrow, see ya there....!!!

Wonderful surprise as we just stumbled on this restaurant. I had chicken gordita & chicken taco with rice & beans. Hubby had cheese enchiladas & chicken taco. We both enjoyed our food. Very well prepared. Salsas were great. Service excellent.

Best Mexican restaurant in town to me.. always friendly.. food hot and fresh...and what I mean by that is I've never had a burrito with hot meat in it with veggies that where so fresh that still had that crunch... Everything is delicious..

Food was great. Not a typical Tex-Mex restaurant which is nice for a change. We will go back.

So tasty. I had the barbacoa, al pastor, and fajita beef tacos and although we waited quite awhile for our food, it was well worth the wait.
