Sol Mexican Grill

Got an early lunch here and was glad this location was near where I was staying.
Had a good selection of food to order, the staff was friendly, and service was prompt.
I liked that they had a "Mexican" style of rice here, and a really good selection of toppings for a bowl. It also tasted WAY BETTER than Chipotle to me, in that it wasn't overcooked, overseasoned, and overly pretentious. (The chips were a bit stale to me, but they weren't overly salty.)

I usually go for a Chicken Bowl and tried it here a couple of times & we really loved it. Good quality and authentic mexican food.

Best Mexican in town! They are super kind, good service and delicious mexican food. You can add as many topics as you want and the portions are really good. Definitely will come back soon.

Similar to Chipotle but better and local! Love their loaded quesadillas and bowls. Love that they have traditional Mexican rice in addition to Cilantro lime rice. I’ve had the chicken, carne asada, and carnitas and it’s all pretty good. I do wish they had the option of corn tortillas. Their Taco Tuesday deal is great, but it’s always reasonable anyway! And I always have leftovers. A go-to for my husband and I.

Great little spot to grab a bowl to go! The queso was a off today. Was not a big fan. Needs to be a little thicker. Everything else was on par. I’m a fan of Sol Mexican Grill.

Got a massive taco for $4.30, the vibe was like Chipotle but everything was a level up. Super tasty and lots of nice seating upstairs and outside.

This place offers quick, delicious food at reasonable prices. The taco was only $3.50 and was very filling. Good luck beating that around here!

There is very little seating--a table for 2 and a table for 6. That's it.

The burrito I had here was great and the service was good as well. I have no complaints.

I stopped in for a quick bite between meetings at the convention center. The menu is small but offers a wide variety of options. I got a couple of tacos. One pollo and one carne asada. It was quick, easy, tasty, and exactly what I needed. Staff was friendly. If I were local, I could see it being a regular stop for me.

I was on the way to another place for lunch but got attracted by the Taco Tuesday sign. I got it to check it out and order a chimichanga with chicken. The serving size is good particular at that price. The quality is good too although I never had a chimichanga before even I eat Mexican food quite often. It is right by the convention center and I will certainly visit again next time in town for conference.

I'm almost 60, and I can easily say, thus was THE BEST Mexican food I've had--especially for the price! My daughter's first stop of vacation had to be here. Yummo!

I really enjoyed my food. It was also a good size portion, and probably the best Mexican Tacos I had so far. The only critique I have is that I wished they had more seating options, as I was forced to eat my food outside in the cold and wind.

Good food. Two dollars for tacos on Tuesday. Can't dress them up but very tasty for the price. They are small but you can get 4 and with tax get a tasty lunch for under ten dollars. Tough to beat for good food in DC

God this place is so good. Friendliest staff as well.

AMAZING FOOD! went there for the first time today and fell in love! its like Chipotle but with fresh good and real flavors that you can actually taste. try it at least once.. you won't be disappointed.

When we were at Otakon, this was our go-to place for food. Burritos are delicious! Love the flavors they used for their proteins and the veggies and rice taste fresh.

Delicious Mexican food with good prices. Staff was friendly too. Really recommend We got quesadillas and they were very tasty.

I love discovering hole in the wall food places like this, the food was on point, the servings very generous and great prices. It was so good we ate there for the two days of our visit. One meal covered our entire day!

Just discovered Sol Mexican Grill recently and I'm hooked. The tacos are full of meat and are delicious. The staff is friendly and polite. I usually do the fish tacos and chips and guac. Today I did the chicken and carnitas taco. Those were excellent too. You'll leave feeling full, but not heavy.
