We stayed two nights! Great older hotel! All of the staff we encountered were wonderful! Enjoyed breakfast at the on-site restaurant! It was delicious! Had a drink both nights in the bar! The Bartender was delightful! Our room was cozy, super clean, and the bed was comfy! We enjoyed our stay and will be back!

Location is perfect - about 15-20 min to the white house and the memorial, 10 min to china town and 25 min by car to airport.
The hotel in an old historic building. Room was good and clean.
Not sound proof windows but ask for highier floor.
Deposit of 60$ is taken but returned after check out.

We stayed 4 nights at the Henley Park hotel and enjoyed it immensely! The location is perfect an easy walk to Ford Theater. The staff are helpful and pleasant and the bed was extremely comfortable. We had breakfast which was delicious and served quickly in a cozy charming setting. I highly recommend this boutique historic hotel.

Stayed overnight. The hotel has maintained its traditional/original look in the exterior and lobby but appears to have modernized the rooms. Quiet, comfortable stay. Within walking distance of the sites I looked to visit. I was assisted by Emily in checking in and making queries. She and the team were welcoming and helpful.

Only hotel I’ve been to in DC with character. Great deal for the price. Willis and Carlo at the front desk were so helpful and knowledgeable about all the little details in the space. Will absolutely come back

Very nice! Kind of noisy out on the street on the Saturday night when I stayed, audible from my 4th floor room. But it quieted down around 1am. Very comfortable bed and room, with a Keurig coffeemaker. No ice machine, but the bellman cheerfully brought me some.

Update: Stayed here again on a Hotwire deal on early March 2024. Was pleased to get it. Not noisy at all this time. Room was very comfortable, and I enjoyed my brief stay.

My husband and I stayed at The Henley Park Hotel for three days right before Christmas before we headed south to Va. We found the hotel to be charming, staff friendly, and room accommodations very comfortable, especially the beds/pillows. It’s a great location for walking to all the Smithsonian museums and the daily rate was reasonable compared to other nearby hotels. We found a lovely French bakery (Tattè) nearby and ate breakfast there each morning.
We enjoyed our stay so much, we decided to stay here one more night before our flight home instead of near the airport. The Henley Park will be our “go to” hotel anytime we visit D.C.

Absolutely lovely staff and hotel. Very charming historic hotel. Hotel is extremely clean, with updated rooms, and delicate details. The staff is super kind, attentive, helpful, and prompt to reply. This will be my new hotel when I visit DC. I am so impressed with the staff and the hotel that I had to leave a review. While there is no ice machine similar to other hotels, the staff quickly brought a bucket to my room when I called the front desk. I absolutely love the Henley Park hotel and the entire staff. During this visit I wasn’t able to have noon tea, but this is a must for my next visit. Keep up the good work Henley staff, you all have impressed me and I’m pretty hard to impress.

What an amazing place during my trip in DC! Located in a great area with excellent service and spatial, clean room. Plus the price was really affordable. I love it so much. Would definitely recommend to my friends.

Brought our 12yo daughter here in 2017 for high tea and it's her favorite place. She is now 18 and we brought her back on our way to move her into college. There was an error after we booked a rez on Open Table, which was also confirmed by live person. But since it is a holiday (Labor Day) they were not serving tea. The staff were AMAZING in hearing our story and went out of their way to accommodate us although they were about to close. They showed exceptional hospitality, not rushing us and tending to us very well. Agree with other reviewers that the service is impeccable. Would definitely return when in the area!

This is a very unassuming hotel from the outside, especially since it is right across from the Marriott Marquis. The inside is quaint and clean and the hotel staff are the friendliest and helpful hotel staff I have encountered in years. Only downside was the older AC system struggled to keep the room cool. Would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely wonderful stay at the Henley Park Hotel. My wife and I had a 4 night stay for an Anniversary trip. Perfect location for the things we wanted to do. The hotel is a throw back to hospitality and quaintness. Small elevators, yes. But it accommodates a smaller number of guests, so it is never crowded. No fridge in room. No worries, they brought ours upon request in less than 5 minutes. This was stated in their website by the way. No ice machine on our floor. Again, no worries. They bring that promptly as well. It’s actually refreshing not to hear an ice machine “clanking” outside our door. They do charge for parking but they are no different than any other hotel in the city. I can say that the garage they use is right behind the building and we never had to wait more than 5 minutes to get our car. Every single person associated with this hotel greeted us with courtesy every time we came in or out. Lastly, we stayed in a Jr. Suite, which was absolutely wonderful. From the bed and linens being super comfortable. To the hot water coming out almost instantaneously. To the just right water pressure coming out of the shower head. Not a single complaint. This will be our hotel the next time we come back to DC.

I stayed here for Otakon this year. The hotel is old but the experience was the best of any hotel I have ever stayed at. The staff were helpful, the bar and restaurant were very nice. When I stay in DC in the future this will be my hotel of choice. I hope to stay here next year for the convention myself and my friends are also trying to get rooms.

Nice historic hotel. The rooms were not too big, but very clean with comfy bed and pillows. They offer receiving packages from online purchases for pick up from the reception without a fee. The receptionist Elliott was helpful and friendly. Price was reasonable, as well. The location is great near the downtown area, the convention centers and many stores. No free parking but valet parking is available for $49 per night.

We enjoyed staying at this hotel. We were able to walk to many restaurants and parks. We were right down the road from a really cool looking Apple Store. The staff were nice and they allowed us to leave our bag while we went and explored. When we came back they helped us get our bag right away and had our room ready.

One mark of a great hotel is the experience that you have while staying there. The staff at The Henley Park Hotel is exceptional. They are personable, helpful, and go out of their way to make guests feel at home. Even after we had finished our stay, and had left something behind, they (Frances) could not have been more helpful and kind in looking for our lost item. This is our second stay at this hotel. There are many more modern hotels, but the charm of this one, along with the exceptional staff make it a 5 star experience. The location is also very good. We'll be back.

Very reasonably priced. Front desk staff friendly and professional. They give free bottles of water. The bar is subpar, very limited drinks.
