We spent the day exploring all the DC monuments and worked up an appetite and so happy I decided to stop here! They had mimosas on happy hour which was a great start.. had to order the fish and chips and wow, they were massive and so delicious! Service, food, and drinks were all amazing, and oh man, I almost forgot about dessert!? The most massive brownie!! 🤌🏼 Trust me, stop by and check this place out!

Their pretzel appetizer was the best I've ever had! I also got their meat & mushroom pie and my guest got the Cheese Toastie. The side Caesar was not great, but the app and meat pie were well seasoned and absolutely delicious! The day we went was gorgeous so we sat outside on their patio which was lovely.

The food was good. I had the fish and chips, which I highly recommend. Others had the buttered chicken and/or potpie. The buttered chicken didn't go over too well with some, while others really enjoyed it. And ice cream for dessert.

The service was Awesome 💯 Got a chance to meet and chat with the manager, James. Who is very personable, courteous and accommodating. Our server, Will was friendly and helpful. Thank you Both, keep up the Great work.

Come here for the fish and chips, stay for the game. Convenient location and true to the spirit of a pub. Extensive menu offers something for everyone. Full bar and a few craft beers on the menu.
I had the fish and chips but I stole some bites of the pot pie. Meals were very heavy and flavorful. Probably perfect for a cold winter lunch.

Shared a wonderful dinner with family. I highly recommend a reservation as we were able to walk in with no wait with a reservation while others had a small wait to be seated. The food and drinks were slow coming out. The food was delicious. The mini meat pies were delicious with the leak pie being the table favorite. The blue cheeseburger, we added the chipotle aioli was delicious. I could put that aioli on everything. The dipping sauces with the chips were a fun and delicious variety. Bloody Mary was also very tasty! Great evening out!

10/10 would recommend! We were visiting and stopped in for dinner, food was delicious! We ordered the pretzel bites, French dip sandwich, the deluxe burger and poutine as sides for both sandwiches. For dessert we ordered the Big Ben brownie! Service was amazing! She was great! Drinks were superb too! We ordered their draft cider and Crabbie’s Alcoholic ginger beer!

Excellent atmosphere, lovely food. My first time here, but they delivered on the promise of the premise. My date had the wee flight of pies and I loved my steak and mushroom pie. And they had Strongbow cider on tap.

This place is a must if you live here or are on vacation. The food and atmosphere is amazing. The servers are amazing. Beer here is top notch too!

Great find! Traditional English pub with great menu options. Ordered the black and blue burger with their house salad as a side. It was a great choice. My colleagues ordered the mini pie flights and the fish and chips, both also looked very tasty. Will be visiting again!

Loved all their food- got the wee little pie sampler and a side of poutine! Both were great, the pie sampler was a great dish to try out all the pie flavors. The bread pudding for dessert is excellent. It was very busy on a Monday night

Absolutely worth it. The food and service is awesome. Servers are kind, food came quick and the atmosphere is very relaxed. They even have Estrella Damm beer.

We had a large party and had to adjust the time of our reservation at the last minute. When I called, Kyle, happily changed it and was so kind and accommodating! Then when we got there we got the best server, Dani! She went above and beyond to accommodate our group and needs. Hands down best customer service we have experienced in a very long time. Also, the food is PHENOMENAL! Everyone in our large group raved about their meal! Highly recommend!

This is one of the best Sunday Roasts I've ever had. I loved the atmosphere and the service was excellent. An incredible, unbeatable price for both portions and the area. I can't wait to go back.

First time here. Food was awesome! Pie flight was a bit small, but flavor was great! French dip was tender, moist, and tasty! Don't normally do desert, but the cheesecake was very good. Service was wonderful!

Just happened to walk by and decided to eat here for dinner. Everything was great. I got the pie sampler and the Shepard’s pie was definitely the best. Also got the noble salad and it was the best salad I’ve had in awhile. My boyfriend got the ale and onion soup and he loved it. Drinks were really good as well. Our waiter was really nice and quick. Overall really good

Great British food and selection of beers. Nice service and a joyful atmosphere.

So I went thru the reviews and didn't see any comments on the onion soup. It is a must try as it was the best onion soup I have had. Perfect temperature was key blazing hot with extra crispy croutons cut and placed in with non oily cheese broiled to perfection.
Also stick to the fish and chips and pies. Really good and fresh tastes that pairs well with a cold pint. If you like vinegar mix the HP with the malt to give it a better zing with the smooth flavor of HP.

I had an absolutely amazing dinner here with my dad tonight! The citrus chicken salad was so good and the poutine was great as well. The chicken pot pie was good, and the drinks were great. I definitely recommend to anyone in the DC area. The British theme is ironic considering its in the nations capitol, but nevertheless it’s a fantastic restaurant with great food.

Best place to eat in town! Prices were decent and the food was amazing! A lot of beer options and their cider on tap was fantastic. The pretzel bites were great as well as the burgers. Our server was so nice and helpful. Would definitely come here again when visiting town.
