Fletcher Bike Studio

This is my main, go to bike shop for my gravel bike, a Retrospec Amok. Not only do they have great pricing for service work but they are really there for you to help you thrive. No frills, no sales pitch, just a humble bike shop that will get it done. When I was veering towards buying something expensive or making some sort of modification, they would advise me that it wasn't necessary for what I was looking for or they would give me an option that works with my budget. I have had my bike serviced here multiple times, and one time when I had grabbed my bike and rode it for the next 10 mi, I got two pinch flats and I was stuck. Took the bus back to their shop and they replaced my inner tubes for free. Their customer service is amazing and super friendly. Definitely a place you want to stick to and frequent if you value good people, and honest business.

This is my favorite bike shop in Houston. The owner is a very no nonsense, straightforward, knowledgeable person. I enjoy getting my bike parts and repairs done at this shop. Located in Montrose, it’s very close to Downtown Houston and very easy to find.

As an individual that would consider himself an amateur at the sport of cycling. It was refreshing to hear Colter’s expertise on my problem. Normally, there is a stigma of how you are treated because you are new to something. You won’t find that kind of treatment here. His breakdown and customer service skills are renowned. Make sure the check them out if your new or just getting into cycling. Ask for Colter!

Kevin the shop owner is cool and laid back. His team are all friendly and helpful - they did a great job on tuning up my mountain bike and offering up their expert opinions on components. The overall atmosphere there is great.

He knows his stuff. Came in with a broken derailleur due to a bad barrel adjuster, fixed it in 2 minutes. Prices were very good

Very nice small bike store. Can handle any repairs. Kevin was so great. He put on my new tire and tube on my back wheel of my bike. He even adjusted the rim even though it was bent. If I ever need another bike repair I will be back and I recommend to anyone in need as well.

Great place. Quick, friendly, knowledgeable. The bike I was looking for showed up after I called them. It was ready to go within an hour.

The crew at Fletcher Bike Studio were knowledgeable, personable, and very professional. I originally asked for the Full Overhaul thinking I needed the works, but a quick glance at my bike and they knew I probably didn't need that. A few days later I picked my bike up, which they had looking and feeling brand new, spending only about half of what I originally budgeted.

Kevin was extremely helpful and accommodating in my request. I came in with a product (in line skates) and he helped in removing the wheel bearings. He was friendly and willing to lend a hand. I also picked up a helmet. I highly recommend Fletcher’s and commend the personal customer experience.

10/10 would recommend. I was in the market for some higher BMX handlebars for my SE. I called around to multiple shops but there was something different about Fletcher Bike Studio that stood out. When I called the other shops, I asked for what I was looking for they checked, didn't have and simply hung up the phone. However, when I called Fletcher Bike Studio the gentleman who answered the phone (rude of me not to get his name) was very helpful, attentive and offered other solutions to my problem. He offered to have me come by the shop, access my bike and see if there were other solutions to help me with my problem. I could easily order the bars online but I wanted them ASAP for a ride that night. But sometimes going local is the way to go and I'm so happy I did. I arrived and it was all hands on deck. I'm new to biking and I'm still learning. When I had a question, I didn't feel like they were man-plaining to me at all. I'm a people person and the two gentleman that helped me were very personable. I was in and out in less than 30 mins. You can't beat that. Thanks again guys, you rock!

After testing a few shops in town (and many around the world) this one is now my go to place in Houston. The store is managed by passionate cyclists Adam and Colter who are there to help you to meet your needs. They go out of their way to work things out, order the right part and give you your ride back as quickly as possible, all at an amazing price. And they don’t push unnecessary tuneups and replacements! It has the feel of an old time bike shop and the friendliness to go with it. Not as large as some of the more prominent brand stores in town … but push the door, chat with Adam and Colter and you’ll leave a happy customer. 💪👍👏

I brought my 2018 road bike in for a flat tire and decided to get a full tune up since I recently started using it to commute. I just picked it up and it looks and rides like a new bike! Great customer service and a convenient location, I’ll be back!

I have been taking my bike here for the past 3 years for general repair, tune-ups, and to install new parts/accessories. The staff is always friendly. The service is quick, usually being done the same day. The prices are fair. I would highly recommend them!

Purchased my bike elsewhere and called the shop to have it assembled by their mechanics. I was told over the phone it would be a 3 day turnaround. I was pleasantly surprised when they called and said bike was ready, less than 24 hours later. The guys where nice and helpful and explained a few things that I would need to check after a few rides. Highly recommend these guys for your neighborhood bike shop.

Outstanding organization! As an inexperienced cyclist, I felt very comfortable asking for their help and accepting their suggestions. I needed to return a bike to another shop, they professionally repacked my bike, using one of their own bike boxes, and completed everything in one day. I will not dare go anywhere else for cycling service. Give them a try and I'm sure you'll be impressed by their outstanding customer service and cycling know-how. Thanks guys!

Great LBS (local bike shop)! Recently back in Houston and in need of a good wheel truing–having tried and failed to true them myself–I came by this shop through a Google search. I've been to most of the bike shops around town before, and while satisfied with most, I wanted to try a new place. It turned out to be a great decision. Kevin fixed up my wheels, despite having to cope with a few mangled spoke nipples. I also needed a new tube, which he had at a decent price. I was pleasantly surprised by both the quality of work and the final bill of sale.

A few weeks later, the rubber around the valve stem cracked, which as any cyclist knows, can't really be patched. With something as mass-produced as an inner tube, a few lemons are bound to crop up. It was replaced without any hassle.

Awesome customer service! That is how loyalty is fostered. I'm hooked. Check 'em out!

Let me just say this was the best experience I've ever had in a bike shop. I was immediately greeted by Colten, who informed me that while he was new to Fletcher's he wasn't new to the bike game. He jumped right in and helped me troubleshoot my issue, doing all the heavy lifting. He took the time to explain the differences between my ebike's components and others. He also went above and beyond by checking my breaks, realigning them to the disk and adding air to the tires. Not to mention the pricing was more than fair. I highly recommend you stop by Fletcher for your biking needs.

The best bike shop ever! He fixed the crank arm of my bike in a few minutes and charged me very little. I forgot to ask his name. He was very friendly and laid back. Strongly recommend.

I was looking for a bike shop to bring my road bike for service. I liked the reviews I saw online and was not disappointed. Kevin was very friendly and knowledgeable; he adjusted my Sram red yaw front derailleur which had given me problems for quite a while and cleaned and greased my bottom bracket which was noisy. I had not noticed it but he also tightened my headset which was a little loose. His co-worker at the shop tried my bike to make sure that it was running smoothly. They charged me much less than I expected and I received a call the next day to let me know that my bike was ready. I was very impressed by their professionalism and will not take my bike for service anywhere else in the future.
