Really nice park with a large playground that includes handicapped accessibility. My son loved the Dino digging area and the mini zip line. There is also a nice path huge grassed area. Lots of parking. Decent bathrooms. Pickle ball courts. Picnic area.

Nice spacious place for outdoor gatherings, restroom faculties nearby and drinking fountains. Readily available trash cans. Shelter is large and protects from sun and rain. Overall enjoyable outdoor environment.

We climbed the hill and let Mickey run for a bit. It was such a beautiful day. The whole park was covered in snow.

It was absolutely delightful. We were wearing our Hillsound crampons on our hiking boots so walking on the snow and ice was so easy and safe.

Love it! Always beautiful, is a great place to run, walk, take the kids to the park, enjoy the creek, picnic or just sit around and talk. Plenty of room to play any type of ball or games that you wish to play!! Just needs public WiFi to be complete!! Did a 12 mile jog today here, great place, I just love it! Great place!

Just happened to stop here after visiting brand new grandson at the hospital. Wow, what a beautiful park and gorgeous trails! We walked over three hours and saw so many funny squirrels and also saw about five deer. Just lovely!!

Nice park in the middle of town. It is easy to find. There are plenty of parking spaces around the park. There is a small playground for kids. There is a walking trail around the park. The trail is about a mile long. Along the trail, you will see a steam, walkway up to the Rose Garden, beginner hiking trails, shelters, and all nice views.

The park is well maintained, clean, and quiet. It offers peaceful feeling to its visitors. If you visit Huntington, don’t miss it. Enjoy your evening walk with locals. Observe nice houses along the park. One of those houses is Marshall University president house. Marshall University is the town university.

You can shout out ‘Go Herd’ to anyone who wear green shirts with big M, or word Marshall, or Marshall logo on. It is one of the university cheers.

A large and beautiful park, with walking and biking paths, lots of seating which is good news for older people like me, picnic areas with grills, chess tables, playgrounds, pickleball courts, and restrooms that were actually unlocked. They weren't clean, compared to the Ritter Park Rose Garden, but I was happy they were available. There were lots of people there, but the park is so large, that there was plenty of space for everyone. Lots of people were out walking their dogs.

I'm a local dog trainer and host a group class in Ritter park every week. The environment is so wonderful for the development of dogs who need a little extra distraction. I also take my personal dogs and sometimes just come to read a book or take an online class. Oh, they have xfinity wifi signal throughout the park also, which means I can sign in to my business account to use wifi instead of using my cell data. It's an all around great place and the staff work so hard to make it even better every day.

Beautiful park with sprawling paths, flower gardens, and more. There is also a dog park to let Fido out to run around and meet some friends.

Our parks and libraries are important parts of the community. We cannot let the Board of Education completely defund them. There are actions being taken to protect our parks and libraries, get involved!

We were here to do my sons senior pictures I snapped a few while the photographer was shooting with my son after all its so hard to get a pic of your teenager lol 😆 so I had to sneak a few it was a beautiful park with so many beautiful places we also saw many others doing the same. It was a wonderful place to visit. They have a beautiful rose garden, fountain, kids playground and much more! Also a hall for parties, weddings, and special occasions.

It's my favorite place to come walk, it's lovely and well-maintainted. The Rose Garden is easily accessed from the walking path (there *are* steps to climb if accessing from this direction), lots of wildlife (squirrels, chipmunks, lots of different birds, waterfowl), and plenty of shaded areas.

Ritter Park is a very nice, quiet park with plenty of places to just sit and relax, go for a walk, play with your dogs or kids, or jog around for some exercise. There is plenty of parking in the lot or on the side of the road adjoining the park.

During the fall season the trees in and around the park turn into some great shades of yellows and oranges, which would make for some great photo opportunities for any number of occasions.

We've stopped at Ritter a few times to eat some take out and it's been very easy to find a nice place to sit down and eat.

Ritter Park is always a delight. It is so large and so quiet and just so beautiful. From the time I was a little boy until now it's still the same. It was great to return to Huntington and I always make sure I come to the park

Great place for kids. Only complaint, there's no bathrooms! Why do they always keep the doors locked. People (especially kids) need a bathroom. If the place is packed with small children(little poop and pee factories) There needs to be restrooms
Not to mention the need to wash hands.

It was my first time here. Looks like a great place to take a walk/run or exercise pets. The park has a nice playground area as well. Plenty of squirrels! I enjoyed just sitting down and watching them.

A beautiful place to walk, exercise, picnic, take the kids out to play or romance the love of your life. One path follows along a stream and a row of beautiful homes, covered by trees for most of the walk. Get out and enjoy the 🌞!

Ritter Park is a great place to walk, picnic, swing on the swing, slide down the slide, take little hike, discover insects, watch the squirrels, observe how workers tear down and rebuild the bridge (my grandson loves the excavator!) and meet very nice people. I visit Huntington often, making it a point to take him there at least twice a week. It’s fun to join him run in the green grass in the summer, play in the yellow leaves in the fall, and slide in the snow in winter. A great city park.
