La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Houston Hobby Airport

We booked this hotel before we even left our house, as we had planned to make this location our stopping point as we were heading out kinda late. With that being said upon arrival we found out the the company (hotel booking) the we booked with had overbooked the hotel and we thought we were out of luck with no place to sleep despite being exhausted! The sweet gentleman that works the night shift helped us out so much! He was literally a godsend! He made sure that we had a place to sleep for the night and we are super thankful for him. If you're reading this sir, thank you so much!!!! Other than that everything went great, the parking was a little tight but service was amazing and the beds were comfy and breakfast was plentiful!

Only the second time I've stayed in a room with a bathroom vent but this one was independent from the light switch. Such a pleasure to be able to clear out the bathroom when you're not alone. Also a heater behind the center of the mirror kept the room warm as long as you kept the bathroom door closed. Comfortable bed and pillows and the fridge can freeze your drinks if you put them on the top shelf. Very satisfied but the second floor hallway needs to be aired out but not a deal breaker. The bathroom vent alone was worth the stay. I highly recommend this Hotel

I am writing with great concern regarding my time as an employee at La Quinta at Houston Hobby Airport for 11 years. Until now, I have never seen this much disorderly and corruptive management. During the four months with the new managers and owners, employees have witnessed Haas Mohammed receiving payment in cash for his work at the front desk. Some of my colleagues who witnessed this are afraid to report it. There are security cameras located in the back area where these cash payments were made.

Secondly, the hotel hired someone to write numerous positive reviews about the hotel using fake guest names, and this occurred just two and a half months ago. Additionally, they had the same person write negative reviews about the neighboring hotel, Best Western, in an attempt to lower their ratings.

Thirdly, there is a whole family driving the shuttle for the hotel, but only one of them is actually hired to drive.

Fourthly, there is an attempt to convert a hotel room into an Airbnb, and furniture has been purchased for room 325.
The breakfast has been scaled down; they are putting out tea bags that do not have individual wrappers. Instead of individual peanut butter packages, they bought large jars and placed them out on the counter for people to place their spoons in. This is very unsanitary and could cause a safe day hazard. They even tried to cheap out on the pancake batter and purchased their own from the store. Housekeeping is struggling due to the lack of items needed to keep the rooms up to standards.

The front desk has to make do with the bare minimum. The ink pens all come from Wallis Bank, we get Amazon paper 5 reams when we have already run out, no note paper for us nor the guest to write on, and we have barely any water for the diamond members.
I'm not sure if the emergency phone by the pool works, due to the fence board being down and the homeless playing on it. We had told them repeatedly it was very important to fix that fence. Also, they are storing items under the stairway when city inspection told them not to.

The small hotel has 6 different "managers"; they only seem to arrive at the hotel during different periods of the day after business hours, and none of them know what the other one is doing. When you call a manager, they tell you to call another manager because they say it's not their job.

Amazing customer service, they have the best deals, and everyone is so kind and welcoming. Loved my stay here!! My flight got canceled last minute and they gave me such a good deal and welcomed me in late at night. Highly appreciate Saami for helping me with everything. Thank you

From the stylish and modern accommodations to the fantastic staff, everything about my stay was superb. I can't wait to return and experience the outstanding hospitality once again. Without a doubt, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Houston area.

When I tell you, this is the BEST La Quinta that I have ever stayed that this is no exaggeration. Southwest Airlines cancelled my flight (as the always do these days) and I had the choice to stay at a nearby hotel. I chose this one and by far has the best experience at a hotel like this I have ever had. The staff was so kind and helpful. They gave me extra time to check out in the morning and the breakfast was some of the best I could ask for. You’ll have a great time here.

Great stay. Overall the staff was great. The General Manager did a great job at accommodating for us. He personally texted me through Expedia and made sure me and my daughters had a room on the third floor with 2 queen beds. He also made sure he was there for our checkout and asked us about our stay.
I hear that the hotel is under new management and I have been staying here a long time and I like the change that has come to be. The new manager has been a great addition to this hotel and the customer service has definitely gotten better

Love this hotel. I send all my workers to it when they come from out of town. They have the best rates, competitive amenities, and great customer service. The La Quinta Inn by Hobby beats out most of the hotels in its areas in almost every category. I’d highly recommend staying here especially if you have groups larger than 20 people.

My experience here with my bf and 2 dogs were great. We had no problems with our check in or check out with the room, however on the website it doesn’t state anything about needing $100 deposit but you get it back as long as room is left in great condition.

The room are very clean and well kept. The lady that works when I checked was very rude and aggressive talk to me and my wife. But other than that it was great stay. The pool was a bit dirty and the jacuzzi didn’t work at all.

Although Hobby airport area is a bit run down. La Quinta was a safe place to stay for the night.

Front desk person Valencia was amazing. She was working over a 12 hour shift and couldn’t be more cheerful! I don’t understand some of the reviews here. Our room (116) was spotless and I did not smell anything but a clean room smell. Good mattress and good bedding and pillows. Breakfast was very good. Great shuttle service and super close to Houston Hobby!

Great rate and a great experience. Room and hotel were both very clean. Note: There is nowhere nearby to eat (like within half a mile), but the hotel desk has a great list they will give you of places that deliver, etc. We'll stay there again!

The room was nice and clean upon entering. The bed was very comfortable. They served breakfast from 7am to 10am but I slept in. Customer service was great. Overall I really enjoyed my stay ☺

Went to Houston to visit my brother. Bundled the flight with frontier and stayed 1 mile from the airport. Breakfast was good. Service from front desk and maid svc fantastic! Clean rooms. Will book again!

We absolutely loved our stay here! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Beautiful hotel. So much better than the last La Quinta we stayed in. Would definitely stay here again when in the area!
