Hampton Inn Houston Hobby Airport

Room was updated and clean. Staff was very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was good. This place is so close to the airport I just walked there. Excellent value.

There’s nothing going on around here but the Hilton next door has a nice little bar/restaurant.

This was a great choice for a 1-night stay by the airport. I was wary of other reviews after booking so had low expectations, which were greatly exceeded during the stay. The room was quiet, clean, and updated. Breakfast was on par with other Hampton Inn offerings. Probably not a place where I’d spend a week but that’s not the point of a hotel airport!

Hotel was nice and staff were kind. We had arrived at 2:00am due to a flight delay and grabbing some food from WhataBurger. Bed was nice and medium firmness. Everything was clean with no smells. Unlike other Hampton’s this one doesn’t have any room control functions that you can use with the phone. The hotel does disable the inner doors sometime in the night, which having lived in Houston for most of my childhood, doesn’t surprise me. You can use your room or digital key on the pad to the right at reactive them. There is also a buzzer next to the pad to let the employee know you’re there. My wife got up around 15 minutes to 10 and went down to get some food. She said there was still plenty left out and ate, before coming back up and sleeping for a little more. The only complaint is that other guests gave her the side eye for coming down in long pajamas, wearing and hoodie, to get something to eat.

On May 30th we were headed to Jamaica we had few issues with the hotel directly across the street that couldn't accommodate us because of water issues so we had to leave the hotel. I called Hampton inn and asked them can they accommodate us since we were having water issues at the hotel and she immediately said yes y'all come over. Upon finishing check-in and headed to our room we soon found out that this hotel too was having water issues because of a main water break. The staff there was very apologetic and tried to accommodate us as best they could. To make a long story short days after we return from our vacation One of the staff members Courtney contacted us to let us know that she will be refunding half of our money because of the situation at the hotel. Courtney said she understood and she was very sorry for us going through that situation and she thanked us for being so understanding and patient. Thanks Courtney and your staff for a job well done we will return soon

I booked this hotel after having a great experience the first time. And this visit was even better. The staff are super sweet and so accommodating. The first visit we had a small issue with the room and they immediately helped us move rooms. We bring out dogs and didn’t have any issue like we have had at other hotels.

Enjoyed my stay here. It wasn't busy during the holiday and the room was clean.

This place is Amazing! Do not listen to the bad reviews. The hotel is being renovated right now and it will be contemporary. Very clean. Nice front desk people, decent breakfast, I love it here. I am so happy with my decision. I was so sad because I booked my reservation before reading reviews because HELLO! It’s HAMPTON INN what can go wrong? They are so clean but when I arrived, I was so happy!

Having a scooter and being on my own, while helping get my ill father situated was hard and tough. The staff was extremely sweet and helpful in every aspect to make sure my needs were met. Beds are comfortable, rooms were kept clean. I highly recommend this place. Thank you Courtney, Carlos, and staff for everything. I will never forget you guys.

The rooms need some renovations but overall the staff was great and always a Free breakfast. Blueberry waffles are always a great start to the day

This hotel gets a 5 star because of the loving morning staff ! The supervisor who was short dark skinned women was such a beautiful soul and made you feel at home. The front desk clerk was a lighter skinned young lady and she was so sweet and nice to me and my mom gave us great resturant recommendations as well ! The hotel was nice but it is in renovation so I can tell it will be beautiful once finished

After getting delayed overnight from Jamaica with a very tired and hungry family of five, the Hampton Inn welcomed us with a quick check in, offered to drive my husband to pick up some food for us, and supplied us with water and Diet Cokes so we were set for the night. The rooms were very clean and perfect for getting a quick rest before we had to return to the airport 7 hours later. Thank you to the staff, and keep up the excellent service!!

This hotel was amazing!! The shuttle from the airport was excellent service, and having the benefit of the shuttle taking you within a couple miles of the hotel was an added benefit. The room was clean and seemed newly updated, with a good amount of plugs and USB ports for charging. I would definitely stay here again if I'm in the Houston area again!

Not many restaurants open so that was an issue at dinner time.
Free breakfast next morning was good but not great. Decent options to chose from.
The room was very nice which is the most important of all.

Front desk employee was OMG super sweet and nice an had a sense of humor. ❤ 👓(You know who you are)! Loved everything about her and my room. Should have booked there my entire stay while I was there on business in Houston. She made me want to stay there and the comfort level of the room! However If I have to go back.. that's where I'll be staying.

OMWow!! I had a great experience with the Hampton Inn staff and management. Our room was ready, clean, and spacious. What can I say about the staff from Ray (Shuttle Driver), Denise (Manager), Lovie (Front Desk), and Chloe (Sales Manager), we had a great time. The overall stay was amazing, and we were able to meet other guest who frequently stay over at the Hampton Inn. My husband and I will definitely visit again. May I add the perks of having the shuttle travel within a 3 mile radius was a plus. Those Walmart & Jack in the Box trips were helpful. Excellent service and they treated us like family, and made sure we had all of the accommodations needed. The beds were comfy and the shower was great, I am glad the rooms and hotel overall looked like the pictures. (Plus) There is so much more I could say, but I'll save it for next time. ~Funny Lady from Michigan~

We had a great stay, the staff were amazing and very accommodating. We needed 3 rooms for our family travel and it was so nice to have wonderful beds to sleep in and breakfast in the morning.

We stayed for a getaway weekend and everything was great. We had plenty of towels and everything was fine. Breakfast was great as well.

If you need a place close to the airport, look no further. In addition, the Hampton Inn at Houston Hobby provides complimentary shuttle service to the airport and breakfast. Great staff and very clean rooms. Highly recommend!
