Houston Marriott South at Hobby Airport

Was in Houston for a quick business trip and stayed at the Marriott Houston South at Hobby.
Everything about my stay was fantastic. I utilized the airport shuttle, the drivers prompt and courteous. The front desk staff was amazing during check-in and check-out. Very professional and efficient staff.
The room I had was modern and everything was in good working order. Everything was very clean inside my room and all throughout the hotel.
Highly recommend if you’re in the Houston area!

Everything was great, from the staff's customer service, the room service, the fitness center and pool, to the secured parking. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. Great lobby with excellent breakfast also! This is our new favorite hotel to stay in when visiting Houston. Thanks too all of the hard working staff. You guys are awesome!

I was DELIGHTED with my stay at this hotel!!! The price is very reasonable for the amenities provided.

The staff was very friendly and accomodating...dinner and breakfast were top notch...the room was spacious, clean and quiet...loved the glass elevator up to the high floors and the atmosphere in the hotel! The airport shuttle is an added plus!

Really...from start to finish...a perfect way to end my stressful visit to help an ill friend. In fact, I just booked another stay for later this month

Great service and an excellent room. Very large shower that was a huge bonus. Breakfast buffet was OUTSTANDING!!!

Hotel shuttle runs 24/7 every 30 minutes! Never found that benefit at any other hotel I stayed during my travels. That's an excellent feature!

Personnel are first class at the front counter and breakfast room!

10/10 every day of the week. This hotel will be my first option when I visit Houston again. Service was absolutely exceptional from the front desk, housekeeping and restaurant.

Very clean with employees cleaning throughout the day. Rooms are spotless and bathrooms are updated with great showers and water pressure. The only issue I had with the rooms were the windows that visibly dirty but not a big deal at all.

Workout room(s) are brand new with new machines and the pool area is very clean with a heated pool.

My wife and I have stayed at this hotel several times, and will continue to book rooms here. The location is fantastic, and I can’t say enough good things about the staff. The rooms are squeaky clean, parking is convenient (and free), close proximity to the airport, and the food downstairs is fantastic. Daniel Segundo was extremely helpful and made booking a breeze.

Flew into Houston the night before our cruise out of Galveston, hotel had free shuttle and picked us up right away. The hotel was very close. Everything you need is there…restaurant, bar and M Lounge. Shuttle was again free back to the airport to catch our bus to cruise ship. Everyone was very friendly and helpful that we came in contact with. Bed was very comfortable. Would book a stay here again in the future.

Lovely hotel, great large clean rooms with plush carpet when so many are going to vinyl wood look. Great service at checkin, easy parking, large breakfast and dining area. Nice light. Great hospitality, fast internet and excellent BBQ just down the street.

The staff at Marriott South bay Hobby were top notch, everyone makes you feel like a VIP. A big shout out to the housekeeping always making sure my room was clean and comfortable. AT the bar the drinks food and service were excellent. I recommend this hotel

The Marriott at Hobby airport went out of their way to make my stay comfortable and relaxing. The Front Desk was friendly, room was clean and inviting, M Lounge was excellent, and breakfast was delicious! One of the best Marriotts I have stayed at.

This hotel is definitely worth 5 star.. last minute RSVP due to a canceled flight no problems. Hotel large, and immaculate, shower was amazing beds were comfortable. Staff polite everything went smoothly right down to the shuttle to the airport. Highly recommend

This place was wayyy underpriced. That’s right I said it. Underpriced. Beautiful facility, very nice staff and excellent accommodation. I would stay here again in a heart beat. Room was very clean and modern. Staff was very professional. And overall excellent exper and I’m the king of “petty”!

Was there for a two week period and, admittedly, had a very nice stay. The one call out was the hotel food. I’ve been a Marriott member for many, many years and, although the food isn’t bad at the hotels, it isn’t what I would define has really good. I was pleasantly surprised during this stay as my meals were really very good! Well done Marriott and thank you for the enjoyable stay!

Have stayed at this location multiple times! We always have such a great experience. The rooms are updated and clean, food is always good, and staff is always super friendly!

If you've stayed at other namesake Marriott properties, you'll probably be pleased with this one. The lobby is very nice with plenty of places to lounge and talk. There is a restaurant with better than typical food for a Marriott. There is a small bar and a fitness center. The fitness center is broken into two rooms, one with weights and another with aerobic and more weights. There's enough here to do a full body weight workout, and both elliptical and treadmills. Unfortunately the water cooler in each room was broken.

The rooms are laid out in a square around an opening that goes all the way up to the roof, much like ive seen at a lot of embassy suites. Unfortunately this means any noise in the lobby, restaurant, or bar travels all the way up to your room no matter what floor you're on.

The rooms are well appointed. I was unlucky and got put into a handicap accessible room, so I had a tub rather than the typical shower. But even so, the room was good. This property has sofas in all the king rooms according to the front desk. The climate controls work well and the room was clean and comfortable. The wifi worked well and the typical Marriott streaming built into the very large TV was nice for watching Thursday night football on prime. Like almost all Marriott, there's no way to send your own hdmi signal into the TV (sometimes you can get at the hdmi port, but the volume is always locked at max for their receiver box to control its own volume). The bed and pillows were comfortable, as was the sofa.

LOVE the MARRIOTT HOTEL on Gulfgate Hwy45 in Houston Texas so refreshing, comfortable at its best showers are awesome , I sleep like a baby every time and enjoy the amenities ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ I highly recommend. A stay at this marvelous hotel ( Marriott Houston South at Hobby Airport

Great hotel! The rooms are brand new, stylish, clean and modern. Very comfortable beds and king size pillows. Great bathroom, shower and large amenities.

I arrived after midnight and the shuttle was prompt, friendly driver and quick ride to the hotel. The front desk staff was friendly and my check in was fast.

Each day housekeeping cleaned my room very well. It’s great to come back to my room after a long day of work and find the bed impeccably made and fresh towels in the bathroom.

Real nice hotel, loved the rooms. Check in was quick and easy. Nice location, staff was excellent and professional. Ready to stay again.

Great atmosphere and great food.! The customer service agents at the front desk are wonderful and always eager to help out by always practicing the "extra mile' to make sure the customer is beyond satisfied.!
And it is, indeed, what this young gentleman, Lonnie Freeman, strives at doing every day.! I can't express enough my extreme satisfaction of his customer service.

I also just love love love the Atrium with the Soothing Water Fountain.!
