We had a really great experience with Pete Boone. We came in a few times last year as we shopped around for engagement/wedding rings and he remembered us, helped us quickly, and had excellent taste in pairing us with the right rings. Pete seemed to be the most proficient and knowledgable jeweler I'd ever worked with. Our rings were ready to pick up very quickly after our order, even during the busy holiday season. Customer service was excellent throughout, when visiting and speaking with them over the phone. The fact that I remember this and am posting a year later should be a testiment to how this business stood out to me. Would highly recommend!

We had a fantastic experience here selecting my engagement ring and both of our wedding bands. Pete gave us a very helpful education in diamond attributes, and then offered a beautiful selection of diamonds to choose from based on our preferences. The jewelers were able to custom make my engagement ring based on a photo of a design I had seen and it turned out incredible. Pete really listened to us and helped find the bands that best suited us. It was a relaxed and easy process!

Not only did my Fiancé have a wonderful experience working with the Boone & Sons team to create the most gorgeous engagement ring, but when I took it to them to have it sized, they found out I was leaving for a wedding the next day & had my ring ready in only a few hours so I could take it with me. I can’t say enough good things about Pete and everyone else at Boone & Sons. I bought our wedding rings here, and they helped me find exactly what I needed. When they arrived, my wife noticed hers wasn’t quite right (I’m not very knowledgeable about jewelry and there was a simple miscommunication at some point, probably on my end). This was one week before our wedding. As soon as I called, Pete instantly said he would help get it fixed ASAP and ordered 3 other similar rings to make sure we had exactly what she wanted for our wedding day. Three days later I went in and they swapped it out for the correct ring - last minute wedding crisis completely averted!

They also gave me a great price on our rings that I was happy with, even before they went the extra mile to help me out. Whenever I need to buy jewelry again, this is where I will be coming to!

They did an amazing job on my ring sizing. A lovely friendly lady checked me out, I forget her name unfortunately but she was great! Bloomingdale’s seemed uncertain they could do the change without destroying my rings but these guys were confident and got it done before the estimated date of pick up.

I have never written a google review in my life, but I was at Boone & Sons Jewelers yesterday to learn more about engagement rings and get a better idea of what I want for my own, and Kay was absolutely incredible! She was so patient, kind, and honest, and helped me begin to figure out what I want, both aesthetically and what will best fit my lifestyle as a healthcare worker. I am so appreciative of how much time she spent with me and all of the knowledge she shared! I can't speak highly enough of Kay, and will definitely be back again!

Amazing engagement ring experience at Boone & Sons! Eric was incredibly helpful and patient with everything. He spent several weeks going through shipments of multiple diamonds with me until we found the ideal stone for the size, quality, and price I was looking for. My experience with Boone & Sons was nothing short of amazing! Every single member of the staff was not only incredibly knowledgeable, but genuinely kind as well. I thought shopping for an engagement ring was going to be very stressful, but Erik and the staff were extremely patient with me, and made it clear they understood I was purchasing much more than just a ring. Despite the fact I was going about all this during the December holiday rush, they truly made me feel like I was their only customer! The ring turned out even better than I imagined, and my wife absolutely loves it to this day. I cannot tell you how much I LOVE Boone & Sons! I’ll try to be brief; the selection is unique. If they don’t “have” it, they can get it, create it or alter it. The customer service is friendly, attentive and timely - which, let’s face it, that’s a lost art amongst businesses of today. Originally we chose my engagement ring in 2012 when I first met David. If you didn’t have the pleasure of meeting him, all I can say is that is personality was larger than life! Unfortunately in 2018, my ring was stolen and I contacted Boone & Sons to have it recreated. Yes, I wanted the exact same ring. I was deeply saddened when I learned of David’s passing after checking the website. I contacted the store directly and spoke with Kay, who spent the next 2 months working with my insurance company, the manufacturer of my original mounting and GOD only knows who else, to get me as close as possible to my original ring. Most of all, she kept me updated all along the way. My replacement ring is absolutely exquisite! You can barely tell that it’s not the exact same ring!

After visiting several jewelry stores in downtown DC I was pleased to meet Erik Boone. He was knowledgeable, easy going and very customer service-oriented. Over the next two months, Erik walked me through the full process of custom making my wife's engagement ring. The ring was centered around a small stone she received from her grandmother, so largely sentimental. Erik understood that this small stone was the focal point of the ring and helped me match this with a beautiful, and larger, cushion cut diamond that would become the center. He was also able to easily match the flanking stone, a smaller old European cut, which mirrored her grandma's. The result was a gorgeous ring which my wife cherishes.

Erik was incredibly easy to work with. Prices were also very reasonable compared to other stores and the ring was appraised for quite a bit more than paid. We also bought our bands from Boone & Sons and we're extremely happy overall with this family run business.

We brought my antique engagement ring here to be resized and have encountered the most amazing customer service. It’s so important at a moment like that in your life to be treated with kindness and have things explained and have people be helpful and trust that your treasured item is being well cared for. I think it says a lot that we got such wonderful treatment given that we hadn’t even purchased the ring there. We’ll definitely buy our wedding bands here and I just cannot recommend them too highly.

I worked with Morgan throughout the "shopping" process and Erik saw my fiance's engagement ring through until the end. I couldn't be happier with the level of service and attentiveness they showed. It is a stressful process so they really helped ease the nerves and the massive bowls of candy didn't hurt. The custom ring is a beauty and we couldn't be happier with it. I went to Boone and Sons Jewelers during my break to browse some engagement rings and educate myself on diamonds. I was immediately greeted and welcomed by the store manager, Kay White, and she was SO kind, patient, and informative! She literally showed my friends and I every single style I was interested in and allowed me to compare different diamonds without pressuring me once. She also offered some creative ways to go bigger with the diamond, without sacrificing quality. I was planning to shop online for my engagement ring at James Allen or Blue Nile (thinking my boyfriend and I would save the most money), but after today my mind has changed after the amazing experience she provided us. I will be sure to return shortly to pick the perfect ring with my boyfriend! I highly recommend coming here to see Kay - she is a breath of fresh air and a pleasure to work with!

Over the past two years I've gotten my 3 eternity rings and a pair of diamond earrings from Boone and Sons. I'm beyond happy with all of my purchases. I typically work with Paul and Eric, and they are both great. They are knowledgeable, friendly and both have great taste! After buying two eternity rings, I was looking for a third to complete my stack (but I also decided I wanted to switch the finger I wear the rings on) they were able to resize my rings for the new finger I wanted to wear them on (which was great!). They have a great selection and I would highly recommend this place for all of your jewelry needs.

I recently consigned a piece of jewelry with Boone & Sons and had absolutely the best experience. After having called or visited 7 other jewelry shops who all gave very low offers to outright buy or consign the piece, Eric at Boone & Sons gave me a very reasonable offer for consignment. The consignment took a while and we decided due to extraneous circumstances to lower the price a couple times but the piece recently sold and all parties walked away very happy. I will certainly be returning to Boone & Sons for any future jewelry purchases!
