Cambria Hotel Washington, D.C. Convention Center

Family trip to DC. This hotel is a good value, considering how much hotels in DC are. We had no issues with checking in or the rooms. It was quiet. There is a gym on the top floor and a rooftop patio. Unfortunately, the pool is not open. Would be nice if they could reopen it some day. The location is not too far from the Metro (Convention Center). Also, there is a Giant grocery store just a few steps away which is really handy for families. I recommend the Family Ethiopian restaurant across the street, it's a great restaurant. Regarding the scary reviews some other people left I don't know what they're talking about it was safe for our family.

Excellent location about 20 minute walk from the White House and other places. As soon as you guys exit the motel, you’re going to find regular / some dirty / congested DC area that is everywhere. Nothing to do with hotel location.

The hotel rooms are excellent. Carpet very clean. They could probably re-polish the concrete floors on first floor and street level, other than that the hotel is very clean. The rooms are very clean. Carpets and mirrors and all very clean.

We had a rowdy, next-door neighbors and they were loud and stayed up
Late, we called front service desk twice, and they came of each time to let next doors neighbors know to quiet down in that worked for us. (Tip: ask for a non-joined room where door is shared with room next door that may reduce some noise). The service was excellent as they came up and handled the matter. I will stay here again for sure.

Also, the parking on the bottom of the hotel is very convenient, and 24 hour parking are only $30. Don’t do Valet for $50 : use the right arming in basement - And Sundays outside street parking are free and I found 2 spots on same street on 2 days.

Overall - Very convenient, very clean, hotel itself is very safe and doors and elevators require room access to even operate.

I stayed here a couple weeks ago. The room was clean and spacious. Nice views of the city and great neighborhood. Staff are friendly and restaurant in lobby serves great drinks and food. Walking distance to the 930 club, restaurants and shops. Would stay here again.

We come for fun to DC. The hotel has a great location and a terrific staff. The only reason for the 4 star on the room was a confusing hvac system (controls in the unit not on the wall), the newly updated faucet was missing a part, and the drain in shower clogged. One mention and they were on it.
From the valet to the front desk to maintenance to the restaurant- awesome, nice people.
And I forgot something in the room and they went above and beyond to get it to me. Thank you, thank you.

Amazing hotel. This is why you really shouldn't trust 1 star reviews on google as most of the time, they are over exaggerated or fake. Rather, look at Expedia reviews. We were two families with two young children and they accommodated us very close to each other (only one room apart) which was great! Very modern and clean rooms too. Pleasant smell when entering the room and lobby. The rooms were cleaned daily and restocked with everything we needed such as towels. There was also a rooftop patio with great views of the Washington monument and US capitol. The only issue is the sofa bed was a bit uncomfortable. However the main bed was very comfy. Next time, I will definitely take the double bed room. The hotel is also very close to some good eats. The subway station is also only a 5 minute walk away. Great stay overall!

This was a quick turnaround trip for me everything went well I didn't do a thorough scan of the room but what I saw everything was pretty much like it was supposed to be clean and in its place. I would definitely stay here again as it is close to the venue that I was at. Staff was great Eric was entertaining but on it

Best hotel experience I ever had the staff are all super friendly, and helpful.

They really go above and beyond to make sure you have a comfortable stay. Also a beautiful view of the city from the room.

Every day I received a text message to see if there was anything else I needed to make my stay better.

Locations great too only a few train stops away from the Museums the White House, Lincoln Memorial and Washington Monument. The train is super convenient can even take you to Virginia or Maryland and barely costs $2.

It was a very welcoming environment once again Wilson at the front desk was super friendly and helpful along with the other front desk staff member that knows Kakashi's the best sensei!

Would definitely stay here again when coming to DC!

Human concierge service that texts you yo check up on your room and experience. They provide helpful info. Very courteous and professional.

Family had a recent stay for a volleyball tournament. We had some transportation issues, I'd like to personally thank 'OJ' Carter who went above and beyond to assist. thank you OJ. Need more people like OJ in this world.

Perfect stay. Big, clean room. Great customer service at check in and check out and in between. I recieved a nice text each day asking if I needed anything. A great experience. I'll be back!

Great stay when I visited the rooms were clean the roof deck was great but the pool was not in use that's very unfortunate because I was looking to get wet

We had a weekend stay in a suite and it was beautiful. I love the bed, the room was so clean, and the staff was kind. The area is convenient for walking, which was lovely as we didn't have a car.

This hotel was lovely! The staff was incredibly friendly and the accommodations were great. Monica and Victavia were especially helpful and provided incredible customer service! They made my stay here very memorable and I’m so grateful for all they did! This hotel is surrounded by good eats and bars, and is a short walk from a metro stop that can take you anywhere you need to be. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone staying in the DC area.

The staff was fantastic. Everyone was very nice, personable, informed, and easy to get along with. Any questions I asked they answered without hesitation. Our room was on the sixth floor and it had a pretty view of the sunset! I would love to come back again. Also, bonus points for blackout curtains!

5 stars for the service, and absolute luxury of our room. The bathroom was my favorite. The potatoes for free breakfast were fire. It's just 5 blocks from the 9:30 club where we went to a concert at and it was just so convenient. Overnight parking is 45 dollars just to warn

After reading some of the recent reviews that addressed cleanliness, I was genuinely worried about what to expect. But our room was big, comfortable AND CLEAN. Beds were comfy, the decor of the space was super trendy and cool.

The staff takes the cake though. They were so friendly and helpful. Shout out to Ocean, the front desk agent who checked us in at 11 o'clock at night. She has the exact energy you want in a FD worker. She was more than happy to answer all of my 1million questions, cause I like to gather aaaalllll of the information, she was friendly and professional but still managed to have that genuine and approachable demeanor. The whole staff was really lovely and very accommodating.

At 20 bucks for breakfast, all-you-can-eat or not, we didn't even bother to check out the selection. It might be worth it, but I wasn't gonna eat enough first thing in the morning to make it worthwhile.

Overall great stay. The location was impeccable. 9 out of 10, would recommend!

Exceptional customer service very clean hotel and very well priced this is one of the best customer service hotels that I have been in and the people over there are so positive I recommend this hotel one hundred percent.

This is my one of my favorite places to stay in DC. It is right by the DC convention center and near some good DC nightlife. I highly recommend.
