Island Wash, Coin Laundry

There are no high capacity washers. A good portion of the washers do not accept pods. The place is pretty run down. If you are looking for state of the art or ambience, look elsewhere. It is the only game in town though. So you either drive 8 miles for better upkeep, or you wash here. Don't come hungry either, no snack machine and very little selection for detergents.

We used this facility last year while vacationing on the island. While it was not top notch, it was tolerable to use without having to drive to Corpus. Upon returning this year, we found it filthy and terribly run down and will not go back. Numerous machines were out of order and the floor looks like it hasn't been swept since last year.

Walked in and turned around and walked out. Go somewhere else. No change machine and all large capacity machines are out of order. Completely run down and yes it’s hard to believe this place is an open business on The Island.

As described in prior review. Place is rundown & filthy. No attendant. No wifi. No TVs. Too bad as there's a great looking coffee shop next door. Owners of this are place are missing opportunity to get RV business.
