Amazing hotel. Rooms are flawless. Perfect size, excellent beds and TV size, and lounge chair. If anything, a larger desk would be a cherry on top, but not here to work.
Common areas are also excellent. Great restaurants and bar. Great gym. Superb location. Good value for the whole package
Many restaurants, museums, theters, and bars walking distance

This was a great place to stay. I was here for 2 nights and 3 days for a conference and the room was perfect. The restaurant was good, they had a voucher for me that gave me $30/day and the staff was very friendly. The room was clean and walking distance from different attractions in the area.

Location, perfect. Amenities and staff, outstanding. We walked to restaurants and the National Mall and shopping. The rooms are clean and nice, the general area around the hotel felt safe. But do not go to this hotel without seeing the most amazing hotel Gym this side of the Mississippi. I loved our vacation, the hotel and seeing DC, but I will never forget this hotel's gym, huge, well designed, great equipment. I would have liked to have stayed an extra day.... just to use the gym again.

I was here this summer and the rooms were great, very clean. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. And I had a great view! Didn’t have any issues. I especially loved the Starbucks in the lobby, I mobile ordered my coffee every morning on my way to my conference meetings downstairs. Also in walking distance to many restaurants and attractions.

I'm giving this a 5 just because 3.8 is really an unfair average score.
I went to the front desk numerous times and there was always one person ready to help me immediately.
I did not observe any mice or sign of them.
Yes, the gap under the doors is too big and should be filled with something but that isn't a critical issue.
The gym is one of the nicest I've seen at a hotel with a squat rack and bench rack each with their own Olympic bar and bumper plates. The only thing missing is a strip for sled pulls.
My room was serviced every day of my stay which is better than a Disney resort.
It is a very short walk to the convention center and a short walk to the National Portrait Gallery. I was also able to make the walk to the National Gallery of Art in brisk weather without a coat.
I did not hear any construction noise during my stay so I believe it is truly over with at this point.

Great location for meetings in the downtown DC area. It provides easy access to just about anywhere you need to go with several nearby attractions to visit as well.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The restaurant offers a wide variety of offerings including healthy choices. Drinks are pretty expensive, but that's par for the course when you're in DC.

The hotel is newly renovated and lobby area was gorgeous with lots of nice seating areas. It can get quite busy in the afternoon especially if there’s is a large conference occurring during your stay. The double room includes two queen beds, a modest sitting area and a small mini-bar/fridge. The beds were very comfy and we enjoyed the updated standing shower. Some room amenities were lacking like mediocre coffee/ tea maker, no mugs, and no room slippers. However, the highlight was the excellent service, especially Ms. Amal who was so kind to help me out after a long day. The gym is spacious with new equipment and even a yoga/ stretching area; one of the nicest hotel gyms I’ve been to.

Overall we have had a good stay at this hotel. I am Titanium Elite with Marriott and was paying for this stay (not using redemption nights or points). I had done my research and knew it was a recently renovated rebranded Westin.

The gym in this hotel is definitely second to none. It’s huge, with a wide variety of quality equipment options. The lobby is beautifully renovated and is a huge open space. And this is one of the few hotels I found that had self parking, which I prefer.

As for the rooms, we were initially in a 2 Queen room with a city view; the room was not large but was big enough. Beautifully renovated, with comfortable beds and bedding. My biggest pet peeve with it was the bath/shower combination (with a shower curtain). I was hoping for a decent upgrade at check-in but even with my status only received higher floor/better view room.

I did end up going back down to the front desk and was able to pay a reduced rate to be upgraded to a King 1-bedroom suite, which was well worth it and a huge improvement (and had a stand up shower with a glass shower door).

One of my favorite things about Westin’s is their continental buffet breakfast, and I am not sure if this was recently discontinued as a brand, but this hotel did not offer them. As a Titanium elite you get a $17 credit per day for your breakfast, which at this hotel does not cover a breakfast and coffee. Not the end of the world, but something I was looking forward to.

I do want to mention both George and Bridgette at the front desk who assisted me. They were both helpful and friendly. I did need to have extra bedding brought to my room and did not have to wait long for it. Overall I found the service to be amazing throughout the hotel.

Perhaps the greatest hotel rebrand is Westin. Transforming into a wellness hotel brand, their magic worked on me. Checking in for a two-night staycation, my family of three enjoyed our stay. Here’s why.

1) Rooms: We stayed on the 14th floor with views of City Center. With adjoining rooms, we had a king-sized bed suite with a living and dining area and a connected single room with two queen-sized beds.

The entire hotel is recently renovated, so the rooms are new looking and clean. It comes with all the usual suspects like a safe, iron, etc. What sticks out are the little things like a full tray of toiletries like tooth paste, deodorant, and mouth wash. They also leave you bathrobes that you can take home.

The beds are very comfortable and the AC/heat work well.

2) Space: The renovation makes this hotel pop. With a modern yet simple design, the entire hotel reminds us of the nearby Conrad (a Hilton luxury hotel). The lobby is spacious with a full restaurant and bar.

Being a wellness hotel brand, their third floor gym is massive! It comes with one huge room with Peloton bikes, treadmills, weights, etc. There’s a separate yoga room and towels and water.

3) Amenities: Again, the gym is massive so pack your workout clothes. The hotel restaurant and bar (Root & Vine) serves quality food and includes better-for-you food and more healthy portion sizes.

The lobby has three kinds of water for guests.

Each floor has an ice and water room.

There’s a Starbucks and a little market with snacks, wine, and grab-n-go food in the lobby.

There’s valet parking and on-site parking garage for $36 a day.

4) Service: Everyone is kind, especially the restaurant staff. They are attentive and offer help if you need it.

5) Parking: There’s valet parking and a parking garage that connects to the hotel.

6) Neighborhood: In a central location, there’s plenty to do within walking distance from Luna Hall, an Asian food hall, to Planet Word, an interactive museum about language, to A Baked Joint, a popular restaurant with delicious breakfast biscuits.

(Our stay was comped, but views are my own.)

Comfortable rooms, nice sheets and plenty of good pillows. Service was excellent. There's a Starbucks in the building which is convenient.

This was my first time staying in this Westin. From the time I walked in the door until I left, everyone was friendly and helpful.

I loved the rooms, and the location.

When we did have an issue with the TV, the problem was adrressed immediately.

We come to the District throughout the year and we would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful room, really nice amenities (pillows are AMAZING), and most importantly: the kindest staff. Bridget made my stay very special, noticing from the onset the rough day I’ve had. This is my new go to hotel!

Great hotel. Rooms are amazing, and the staff are very friendly. I was exhausted from international travel and had the DND sign on for a long period. The hotel kindly called my room just to make sure I was okay. The only thing was the room internet, which others have commented on - but you can actually connect to the lobby WiFi from your room as well and that's stable. Do that.

Fantastic option if you want to stay ultra close to the convention center. Note, it does not have a concierge lounge, but the restaurant in lobby serves a good breakfast, plus there’s a Starbucks if you are in rush.

Expensive, but a very nice hotel. Recently rebranded from Renaissance, my room was clean and felt new.
