Los Venados Country Store and Gas Station

Nice little place with big offerings. Gas. Looked like a butcher in the back. Clean restrooms. Friendly, helpful staff. We liked it so much we stopped again on our return trip. I recommend it!

Love this place. It's your local country grocery store with items that are from local vendors. Definitely the place to go if you need something and don't want to head all the way into town. There is a new TexBest up the way by the chorizo plant..... I would go to this place instead in a heartbeat vs the impersonal TexBest. We've been going here pretty much since they have been open.... Recently they were one of the first that cared enough to open a gasoline and grocery place in the San Manuel community.

People the prices are reasonable,
The store is super clean and restrooms as well. Its great when you're about to run out of gas and Bam there it is Los Venados an oasis in the middle of nowhere.
This ain't no Dollar store where you can find cheap stills its an ol country general store and pricing is fair also

This place on the inside is very clean. It looks like they sell tacos and has a little meat market. And it's also like a Mini grocery store. And their bathrooms are very clean as well. And they have 2 pumps outside.

The cashier girl was very friendly and helpful on telling us which isle the product we were looking for could be found. Made very easy for us out of towners

We usually stop here for the tacos every time we go out of town. Tacos are good and they have good prices.

I was surprised this store existed.plenty of meat to barbecue similar to la michocana .groceries ,bakery and meats galore.

Most convenient Little Country Store in Linn,Texas. If you're going up 281 north of Edinburg it'll be on the right hand side. Last place to get gas for miles. And your snacks of course.

Great place like a little general store out in the middle of nowhere gas up in an emergency he used to love the meat they had the best steaks

Nice stop. They have good food too. Not much on the road to stop but nice to have a clean place to go potty. Wife said would bet a bonus to put devider in lady's bathroom. Looks like the bar-b-q joint next door closed in 2013. Good to see a nice stop still available.

We are staying at the Lazy Palms Rv Park which is just a couple of miles from Los Venados, the food is outstanding!! Especially the burgers! Stop and get a burger, you will not ne disappointed. The tacos are delicious also.

Extremely friendly staff here, they have a solid amount of different souvenirs available, SPF products, garments, headwear, and not to mention the variety of alcoholic beverages that get the job done. 😏

Must stop when going on a road trip or even worth the trip traveling from other cities. Carne Guisada, Fajitas, Burgers and BFast tacos are bomb! Homemade tortillas and homemade food. Also any snack cravings and candies plus Beer. Recommend 100% Friendly staff :)

Happen to drive by this place, about to be running on fumes. Doesn't take cards at the pump, so I went inside and gave the ladies enough cash to mostly fill up the tank. I'd rather use cash when I can at Mom and Pop's when I can anyway, because they have to pay such high fees to the credit card companies. I smelt an enticing aroma inside, looked over and saw kitchen and dining area. So on the way back up I stopped by to top off the tank. I got a carne guisada plate for 6.99 or 7.99. It was so big my wife and I split it! There is a clean restroom, a large selection of groceries and a fresh meat market in the back. Will definitely stop by again the next time we come down.
