Kiwanis Park

Perfect day to walk when the sun is out and cool or hot days. The shade from the trees makes the temperature just right on hot days. The trees have been pruned but recommended not to walk at this park during stormy weather due to branches braking off and rarely a tree falling after heavy rains. Also, flooding does occur along this corridor.

Kiwanis Park includes a rubber tire swing a plastic slide and a swing set. There used to be an old metal bridge that crossed the stream and creek but it was dismantled because it was dilapidated and in disrepair. The creek is a fun place to play in but people should know that for Pole Creek is dirty and full of bacteria so make sure you take that into account if you plan to spend time moving rocks around in the creek and building little dams to block the flow of water and splash around with sticks. There are exercise machines along the gravel path there are sometimes fun to experiment with. The memorial arts is about half a kilometer away. The Little League baseball field is nearby too.

Good park to walk in

We enjoy ourself and i like it here . Because it has beautiful scenery and we het to see squirrels and Cardinals and all the other birds and they'll come while you eating and you can feed them

Great place for soccer, kickball, and any other outdoor sport. Sure miss the Olympic Pool though...
