New Concept Auto Repair

I hate taking my car to the mechanic, but this is definitely a hidden gem. I'll never go anywhere else in DC for work on my car (Mazda 3). There was a long list of little things wrong with my car. I went in on a Saturday afternoon with no appointment expecting to get my car back on Tuesday-ish. Ahmad was at my door looking at the car and asking how he could help before I had even stepped out. I had my own parts for some of the repairs, and he didn't even blink where many mechanics would refuse to use them. The car was up on a lift within 5 minutes (no joke) to look at the brakes. I don't know much about cars, so Ahmad explained everything and let me feel the grooves in the front rotors (yikes!). He also found some cheap workarounds to fix loose pieces of the car without replacing them. When I asked how long it would be, he hesitated and said "well, I have to wait for some of your parts to come in... It should be ready by 5:00." That was only 3 hours away. I've had tire changes take longer! They did great work for a great price in incredible time. Genuinely impressive.

Since my wife and I moved to the District we have brought our Nissan here. They have done oil changes, tune ups, Mo even helped us install our front license plate. Mo his father and the rest of the team are all A+. If you're looking for honesty and a fair price look no further. Our car will never see another shop other than New Concept Auto Repair.

Muhammad is the sincere and honest mechanic you always hope to find but never do find. I was surprised when he did not want to drive my 2012 Mustang to check for steering vibration and told me that any mechanic that wants to drive my car just does so for fun. I instantly knew this man was dedicated to his craft and our friendship has grown since. I go every weekend to work on small projects for the car and he doesn't mind me using his space and tools. He is a unique person and has taught me some valuable life lessons too. There sure aren't many like him and I wish him all the success because of his sincerity which is hard to come by these days.

Great service. Much faster and MUCH cheaper than a certain Audi dealership in Alexandria. Mohammed is a Volvo specialist, but when I asked him how much experience he had with Audi's he said "40 years. Is that enough?" (Yup.) Car has been trouble free since going to him and he's saved me hundreds of dollars.

I had the best experience at Patriot Auto Services. Ahmad and Moe customer service is an A++++++++++. They are very understanding and reasonable. I wish u could give ten stars!!! Thank you so much for helping me and making feel right at home.😀

Great service!! Called on a Saturday afternoon when few other shops were open, and they took me right away. They fixed my car quickly at a great price and the staff were fantastic. Friendly and efficient.

The Best Customer Service in Town.

They did a good job on my brakes a week before but then I had my worst experience with an auto repair shop. So, either those reviews are fake, or they changed owners because I had all the contrary. Overprice, never called me back for almost a week. I came with my car driving, I had to leave on a tow truck.

Very bad experience,paid Money and didn't fixed still the some,try to talk to owner and he told me ”maybe is another part problem.. and need to fix.. of course need change more.” loud voice try to control my mind… any one got this issue will get sad, but that owner talking like my fault and want more Money..only want more Money and there is no responsible and how I can trust？bad area..

Charged $52 to fix a flat tire.
