Hidden gem. Found this place a short walk from the nearby conference center. The fish sub price and quality were well worth the walk. Minimal seating, but service was great and fast. I only wish I had found it earlier since otherwise I would have come back every day.

Their wings are excellent... large sized and crispy! The breakfast sandwiches and cheesesteaks are super. Service is quick and friendly, provided by a nice couple behind the counter. The place is very clean and well-maintained, unlike so many other carryouts in DC. This is a great neighborhood carryout in gentrifying Shaw.

I've been going to this carryout for nearly 20 years. Have watched their kids grow and help them occasionally-that says alot for an small business. They do not accept credit/debit cards, but prices are very reasonable. No seating, open early for breakfast/lunch and close by 6pm. Limited menu but enough to fill you up. Fried filet fish, wings-the standard.

Excellent whiting fish dinners. I always get the 3-piece; comes with crispy fries and cole slaw. Coming here for 3 years. Looking forward to this wonderful business reopening. The pandemic has greatly reduced in DC, so PLEASE PLEASE reopen. I salivate everyday for your fish dinners!,

I have patronizing Tiki for nearly 20 years. There level of customer service is phenomenal and inspiring. The food is great carryout and prepared with care and consistency every time. The best family owned carryout in DC hands down.

I've been going to Tiki Carry Out since I was in Junior High and I'm now 33 their food is awesome and filling! Their food isn't hard or overcooked never / I've always left happy that's why I keep coming back.

The jumbo cheeseburger is delicious, always fresh and fast. The customer service is always 💫Pops is such a sweet man! They are cash only though.
